TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!
tbe: take two! is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise. the current skin was created by pharaoh leap using font icons primarily from ion icons and fonts from google fonts. banner art by vav of pixiv. characters, with the exception of canons from the manga, belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours.
Feel free to do what you'd like, assist, hinder, harm him more, as long as you don't permanently remove a limb or kill him I'm good with anything.

Letting vicious, tactless pokemon loose was always risky business, especially ones that only knew basic commands and had been fear-trained enough it forgot all other language. Bekrel had set his Lucario out into a crowd, to let him bite and kick to his hearts content, to scatter the crowd and remind everyone that there were forces more important than their pathetic lives at play. However... it didn't quite work like that. Boulder, disoriented and wild-eyed after being kept in his ball for too long ended up turning on Bekrel himself.[break][break]
Boulder got hold of his trainer's arm, fangs clamping down around it, shaking his head side to side viciously like a dog with a chew toy. Bekrel cried out, kicking the damn lucario away, giving him just enough time to return Boulder to his ball - after that he took himself off, to shrug off his jacket and take off his mask, shoving them in his bag. He winced as he looked over the injury, feeling blood soaking the pants of his leg as well. Boulder had caught his thigh with his claws, nothing too bad, it'd scar at worst but this whole situation was going to put a huge dampener on his plans.[break][break]
Gritting his teeth, he started making his way to try and find some kind of public transport to return home to his first aid kit. None of his pokemon knew any healing moves, on top of that letting one had caused this problem in the first place. He was a state, limping and clutching his torn up arm, expression steeled and cold, trying not to let on that he was in any pain.[break][break]
There wasn’t much to it - N was just taking a stroll around Eirenhyre City to get himself orientated to the city’s layout. Of his friends, Zorua was off somewhere, likely playing pranks on someone in the form of silent boy if he wasn’t simply wandering around looking for some sort of information. Absol was, as usual, hiding away from the city - not that N could blame her.[break][break]
She, after how she was treated due to being a Disaster pokemon, had an understandable distaste for crowded human settlements. Vulpix was…well, N wasn’t really sure with that one, but he knew she was safe since she tended to stick by one of the other’s side and both Zorua and Absol were more than capable of protecting the fox pokemon. So for now, only Gallade and Riolu stood by him, flanking him like guards for a king.[break][break]
It happened as they turned a corner - Riolu, always looking out, suddenly stopped in his tracks before dashing forward, prompting N and Gallade to give chase. There’s confusion in the two’s eyes as they follow the young pokemon, but neither called him to stop - if Riolu was responding to something he thought was important, why should they? They’d simply follow, ascertain the Riolu would be safe and then leave if they weren’t needed, letting Riolu deal with whatever caught his attention.[break][break]
However, the moment they stumbled upon Riolu’s target, they realised that it wasn’t such a simple situation - there, in front of them, was an injured, bleeding man. Riolu had already ran up to the man’s side before he dashed back to N and Gallade, concern in his eyes as his gaze flicked between them and the man. N didn’t need to hear his friends voice to know Riolu wanted to render aid to the man and walked up, remembering to be just a little careful in the event this wasn’t what it seemed.[break][break]
Yes, he’d help, but only once he was sure the man wouldn’t strike out at them. “You’re injured.” He began by stating the obvious, a hand laid to rest at his hip as he gave the man a once over. “Let us help you.” N finished, as Gallade and Riolu sauntered over to the man - the younger pokemon looking up worriedly at him while Gallade was trying to help steady him.[break][break]
Bekrel wasn't expecting any disturbances on the way home, everyone had left him be, only sparing him a glance, moving on when he fixed them with a glare that threatened a fight if he was bothered. He just wanted to get home, the longer he was out the more risk there was of some kind of authority trying to whisk him away to a hospital. If he could get to his first aid kit, patch himself up and all, he'd be able to try get hold of Imum, they'd possibly help with the rest.[break][break]
When the Riolu bounded up to him, then back again he stopped dead in his tracks, freezing up as a trainer and his party of pokemon rounded the corner. Great, some do gooders getting in his way. At first, it didn't click who this guy was, Bekrel was about to growl out an insult and limp on, glad he realized what the situation was before he let his mouth run. His ears lowered a touch, tail lashing nervously behind him. "It's not as bad as it looks, I'l be aight. Thanks though."[break][break]
He continued on, aiming on walking right by, having a feeling that it wouldn't be that simple. He didn't want to answer questions that came with being found injured, he didn't have a cover story, and his wounds were clearly inflicted by some kind of pokemon. He'd have to admit to being Imum, or at the very least shady, for having a Lucario so vicious, and considering N had a Riolu... his odds weren't looking great.
He glanced at his pokemon and shook his head. “Improbable. It seems that Riolu wishes to help you, so at the very least allow us to support you to a hospital - or some sort of care facility, your home if you’d prefer. Else wise I can tell you now that he won’t leave your side.” For Riolu to be this interested…he wondered what the pokemon was picking up from the man. Then again, the child was always the helpful sort - it could have as easily been the need to ensure that this person was safe and wouldn’t… bleed out.[break][break]
N looked at the bloody patches on the man’s clothes and gave a sigh. “It looks the contrary, however. If the bleeding hasn’t stopped, you run the risk of collapsing from blood loss. We should hurry to get your wounds treated.” The stranger didn’t seem to wish them harm, so now it was N’s turn to go to his side, gently taking Gallade’s position - the pokemon had initially tried to sling the man’s arm around his shoulders on the side his leg was hurt - to help the man with walking.[break][break]
Now that that was dealt with, he could ask the man to take the lead - “It’ll be easier this way; it won’t hurt as much. Where to?” Coming from Team Plasma…he knew that there would be those people who wouldn’t dare go near a government ran hospital for certain reasons - unsure of whether this man was the same and shared such cautiousness, he deigned to let the man choose how they’d deal with his wounds.[break][break]
Bekrel was a bit of an idiot to think he was homefree having dodged aid from Gallade, of course N was deadset on helping him. There wasn't any escaping he situation considering he couldn't exactly run, or let one of his pokemon out, that was what had caused this situation in the first place. That, and he had no personal grudge against N, there was no need to risk exposing his identity over being too petty to accept help.[break][break]
This time accepting the support, doing his best not to bleed everywhere, he spoke up. "Aye you gotta point there. Bleedin' out doesn't sound like much fun." More fun than limping around surrounded by do-gooders that would probably off him should they figure out who he was aligned with. "I live not too far from here, jus' that way." He nodded in the direction he'd been heading. "Couple lefts and a right. I have a first aid kit n' all, I can patch myself up." Not to mention copious amount of experience treating wounds inflicted by his Lucario.[break][break]
"Sorry for the rudeness before, was a lil' startled." He was cautious of the Riolu especially, who seemed incredibly interested in him. "Yer little guy there's real cute." In reality, Bekrel wasn't fond, but he wasn't going to punt the Riolu and call it a fleabitten mongrel now was he? He'd be asking for more trouble than he could handle if he did that.
[attr="class","ntexttbe"] N nodded and began to move, careful not to further worsen the other’s injuries by either rushing or…well, doing something stupid, like trip over his own two feet - not like that was a daily occurrence. It was a probability but…no, he was sure he could handle the weigh across his shoulders for now. So, a couple lefts and a right - then they could leave. Riolu seemed content, after all, when he heard that the man could take care of himself. Although…N did wonder if the pokemon would stay on even after N and Gallade would have taken their leave - or would Gallade choose to accompany the young one?[break][break]
Perhaps it was cruel, to leave an injured man to tend to their own wounds, but he didn’t wish to pry into another’s privacy - if he was asked to leave, then N would leave the man alone, though he couldn’t say the same for his friends. …he might end up staying, if they didn’t wish to leave, however. “It’s fine.” He says to alleviate the man’s worry about being rude earlier on - though he saw in no way how the man had been such and didn’t mention how the man himself must be trained in first aid - or at least used to treating wounds - to be able to confidently treat himself.[break][break]
At the compliment, Riolu chirped up, even if he sensed that the aura the injured man was emanating didn’t exactly perfectly fit the man’s words. Still, the pokemon attributed that to the man’s injuries and didn’t think further. “He’s….happy about that.” N explained, as they walked. “Happy that you called him cute.” [break][break]
While the situation he was in wasn't fantastic, at the very he least he wasn't being pestered about what happened - and now that he was getting assistance the actuality of his injuries set in. He'd assumed they weren't going to be much worse than regular scratches, but with how woozy he was starting to feel, he had a feeling he my have been underestimating Boulder's ability to tear through things. He swore if the Lucario wasn't useful he'd never let the damn thing out of his ball again.[break][break]
"I'm glad. I'd pet him but eh, don't wanna get blood on him." He didn't think many folks or pokes would appreciate that. "M'Bekrel by the way. You?" He was going to pretend he had no idea, that'd be playing it safer he assumed. N was a reasonable guy, he... hadn't had bad intentions. Hell he was a much better person than Bekrel was or ever would be, so this should be a breeze. Act a bit more hurt, get dropped off, part ways.[break][break]
The only snag might be that N's Riolu may figure out he was putting on a front. They were smart little things, when they weren't powertrained to aggression.
Eyes flickered down to the pokemon in question at the other’s words - would Riolu dislike that? Probably, if only because of how sticky it’d get as it dried, clumping his fur together and staining it red. But he also knew that Riolu wouldn’t mind, not if it got on him while he was trying to help someone. “He’ll be fine…” N thus told Bekrel, his gaze shifting back to the injured man.[break][break]
“My name is N.” That’s all there is to it - a single letter, short and sweet. He recalled when once his father had called him by another, by the name ‘Natural’, but that was a long time ago and he’d since stop using that name. Even when he was introduced at Plasma’s King, it was just… N. That was who he was, for better or for worse and he wondered to who else the name meant something to - eyes turn to Bekrel’s own, searching for any signs of recognition.[break][break]
“…‘A couple lefts and a right’…” It’s a low murmur to remind himself where to head, to turn left at the next junction they reached. It’s slow going but they manage and while N wished to reach the other’s house quickly so that they’d be able to treat the wound, he’s comforted by the fact that the man didn’t seem close to losing consciousness. It meant that, despite how much blood there was on Bekrel’s clothes, the bleeding wasn’t as bad as it seemed. Surely, the wounds weren’t anything simple, but they weren’t life-threatening either.[break][break]
Another left. “Then a right or is it a left again?”[break][break]
