TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

we're officially re-opened! come check out our event, the pokeathlon forever to enjoy some fresh restart activities. let leap know if there are any skin bugs, and they'll be sorted out accordingly!
Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

For the most part, it was a day like any other ever since he arrived in Lyeant, and ever since he made the choice of choosing another host to reside within again. He finished his normal skating classes. Greeted the students, taught the students, waved the students goodbye. The normal routine, really- and once they were gone, he took care to skate around - more or less instinctively, at that - for a good hour or two before taking his leave and going off on his way. By the time he was done that time around, it was already pretty dark, and by the time he was halfway home, the sun had already set a fair amount of time prior.[break][break]
...And even if it wasn’t exactly the wisest idea given the time and place, he eventually caught sight of a nearby park and decided to hunker down for a little while.[break][break]
Truth be told, he didn’t know exactly what drew him towards it, but...in either case, he seemed to float towards it before he so much as realized it. He placed his bag and skates down somewhere on the sidelines before sitting himself down on one of the swings on a swing set; idly hooking his arms around the outer portions of the chain in order to twine his fingers loosely and hold them together in front of his chest as he slowly and slightly swung back and forth. After a small amount of time, he found himself peering up at the dimmed skies; thoughts crossing his mind at a more or less constant rate. He narrowed his eyes and sighed.[break][break]
...Arceus… This is almost kinda annoying to some degree… he thought to himself, shaking his head. A hand of his parted from the other in order to lift and rub his eyes, and he momentarily ceased his idle swinging as he attempted to purge his mind of the varied, and vaguely painful spikes that were occurring at the moment. ...I guess this is what I get for going along with this host, but-... Geez… The Hell did this kid even go through…?”

She was exhausted. [break][break]
Not because of work. Not because of having to walk as fast as she did, and not because she was plain tired. Rather, she was exhausted because it was another day in the hospital as the pokemon of life of all things. The life deer, most would call her. She was the saviour, she was the one who could bring people back to life. She was the one who could save the loved ones, the lost ones. She's the one who could right a wrong. She's the one who can save a life, and she's the same person who could make a family very, very happy. These are the accomplishments and the myths that keep her up at night; these are the expectations that keep her sleepless. These are the beliefs and the cries that beg her to succeed. These are the beliefs that cause her to tear up and to cry. [break][break]
It was a simple task; she could easily bring someone back to life. She could easily save lives, and she could reverse the effect of oblivion wing. She could easily do so. She could easily do so. Yet when she's faced by the man who was speaking his last breaths, she's petrified to watch as he slips off that thread. Then as the families are crying, she can only stare. She can only hang her head down, listen to their wails and listen to their grief. She can only close her clear eyes and give a saddened smile. She can only watch; she can only be a bystander. She can only watch as the humans beg her for mercy, as they beg her to save their loved ones; and that's all she can do. She can just watch; there's nothing else. Hence, Pandora's stuck to listen to the yells. The threats, the screams and insults. You could have saved them. You could have saved them. You could have saved my son. You could have saved my sister. You could have saved my mother. Yes, she knows that. She knows she could have saved all those people, and she knows that she's probably hated for not saving them. But to be fair, she's possibly hated for saving them, too. Because if she were to do it, it turns into an expectation. Humans were insensitive to the potential draw backs and the price, because all life has a balance to it. She wasn't about to become the evil and throw that balance off-- No. She wasn't about to do that. [break][break]
Not anymore. [break][break]
It was yet another day of work; another day of screaming, wailing and the like. They think to themselves within the depths of their heart; why are there so many expectations like this? It nearly pains their mind. A petite hand gently presses against her forehead as strands of a pale blue fall over her eyes. Baby blue, like the sky. But if she were to say this was her natural appearance? Yes.. But no. After being asleep for a century, Xerneas found themselves in an unfamiliar world. A world with tall buildings, with technology. A world with all the more people, and a world where there are fools stupid enough to misuse pokemon to their own, sickening intents. To add on, they sensed the dread of residue in war - something that seemed to attract Yveltal - only for her to find a sickened body before her. Said body, now her host. But even if she's killed the girl who begged her to end her misery, she can still feel pains. Needles, if you would so call them, poking at her heart in a desperate attempt to get her attention. But even then, the girl pauses to think on them - then ultimately brushes it off. There was no longer any need to dwell in unnecessary thoughts. There was no need to wander - there was no need to bother herself with needless details. [break][break]
Needless details. [break][break]
Details that prompted her to turn her attention elsewhere. Her shift was done for the day; she didn't have to do anything else. With that said, her eyes turn upwards towards a dimming sky - filled with a radiant orange and red with the setting sky. A normally blue hue was beginning to refract the light, causing her hair and eyes to give off a slightly brighter shine to them. The thin strands were nearly glittering as a breeze flew by, throwing her shorter locks of hair back. How long has it been since she's seen the setting sky? There's little she can say, and there's even less she can comment with. It was breathtaking; something that she didn't mind waking back up to. "... I wonder if she can see it, too." They muse to themselves in silence, but a smile begins to creep up on their childish face. A warm smile for once, thoughtfully gazing up to the sky - only for a couple more seconds before making on her way. It's not long until she glances to the side and astray from her path. A silent gaze trails to a small park-- Empty and quaint, but in good condition no less. There's a brief moment of pause as they mull their options but ultimately? [break][break]
They needed a break, and a break is what they gave themselves. Pandora casually strides over to the swing set, where another male had seated himself down on. Her face, while generally childish, made to put on a more mature and soothing smile in greeting. Her footsteps are quiet against the sand; perhaps that's why he couldn't hear her? "Excuse me?" A small hand waves to her side, hoping to grab the male's attention. "Has anyone taken tha--" she starts. She starts, but abruptly stops. Her light blue gaze was fixated on his form and the moment she came in to sight - close enough to make out the details of his face - she froze. Pandora could only stare at him; she could only stare in subtle shock and discomfort alike. She doesn't know why she froze, nor does she know why she stopped mid-sentence. She doesn't know why her arms and legs refused to listen to her as she stares down at him, and she doesn't understand why her heart is pained from a dulled stinging. It's tightening in her chest and for the first time, it's actually getting difficult to breathe. She feels a lump in her throat but then catches the time she's been frozen. She's been staring and.. That wasn't exactly polite, now, was it? In an attempt to break out of her gaze, Pandora shakes her head a few times as she's recovering from that brief moment of--[break][break]
...[break] Of what, exactly? [break][break]
All she knows is to smile and wave, moving a few locks of her hair from her face to point at the adjacent swings. ".. Are these swings free?" She asks in a smaller voice. Nearly meek, polite and pleasant. As the sun is setting, it gives the illusion that her person was a radiant orange. Or.. A red. In fact, her hair and eyes were reflecting the colour of the sun and sky against her. There were refractions of a rainbow against the uneven ground in the park, paired with the subtly glowing antlers a top of her head.[break][break]

[attr="class","lost1"]...Why do I feel the way I do?
[attr="class","rise"]
[attr="class","dying1"]
[attr="class","mouths1"]For several moments more, the avian gijinka remained as he was as he sat upon the faintly and vaguely moving seat of the swing set itself; his brows absentmindedly and instinctively furrowing a small bit more as the spikes continuously occurred and struck his mind with an unwelcomed form of pain and discomfort alike. With each spike that brought itself searing through his head, he clenched his teeth softly while rubbing the bridge of his nose a little bit slower and deeply altogether; murmuring lowly to himself under his breath in attempt to cope with the sensation itself overall. Part way through the pain did he bring himself to cease movement altogether; taking care to lean forward within a slight manner in order to plant the tips of his feet - which then transitioned to the entirety of its bottom altogether within little more than several seconds - into the ground as he loosened the hook that his arms held around the chains on either of his flanks. They maneuvered themselves inwards and closer towards his form, and while another pulse found its way within his mind, he gave a soft hiss while softly cradling his head and rubbing his temples in attempt to soothe himself from the pains of unknown origins.[break][break]
Goddammit… he thought with a touch of bitterness; barely allowing his eyes to keep themselves open, though the effort to do so in itself inevitably caused him to cast an unintentional and absentminded glare towards the grounds beneath him as he attempted to recompose himself as best as he could. Kid… I sympathize with you. I really, really do, but this is just ridiculous… His wings twitched within rather erratic and discomforted patterns and motions alike as he bowed his head a little bit more; pressing his fingers further into his temples while continuously rubbing them along his head for sake of comfort, but for little to no avail in the long run. Arceus… If I dunno why the Hell you did what you did, but god almighty-... I’m glad I was able to send you off for that final stretch, but all this is just--[break][break]
”Excuse me?”[break][break]
That. That singular, initial remark seemed to have snapped him from his own thoughts rather instantaneously- but truth be told, that was likely a good thing in the long run. Throughout his latter, self oriented ponders, the man himself had shut his eyes for sake of stress and coping with said stress alike, but upon hearing the second voice - and one that, oddly enough, seemed to ring several bells of familiarity somewhere deeper within him - he opened them slightly yet quickly all the same; focusing his attention upon the ground once more for several moments before lifting his head in order to peer towards where he assumed the source of the voice came from. Crimson voids of his found themselves peering upon the form of a younger looking individual, yet...for some reason or another, she appeared to give off a somewhat unique aura, for lack of better words. One that exhibited a somewhat noticeable aura of importance, and one that he himself recognized whenever he stepped within the general vicinity of other Pokemon - or sometimes gijinkas- of his own, general stature. So...as far as that went, he assumed that she was of similar ilk.[break][break]
...At the same time, however, she seemed to induce a further sense of familiarity within him, even if he hadn’t looked at her for too long by that particular moment.[break] Yet...the longer he looked, the more that feeling grew apparent.[break] Odd, because he could have sworn that he had never seen this person before under any circumstances, but...nevertheless, he found himself staring at her- and in a similar way that she seemed to be staring at him.[break][break]
For a short while the constant spikes coursing throughout his mind seemed to quell themselves for the moment, but in turn, they seemed to be swift to be replaced by another form of pain; one that made itself apparent clear within his heart, and within a rather spontaneous and unceremonious manner alike. However, it had snuck away as quickly as it had surfaced; leaving Wren himself more or less dumbfounded and at a temporary loss for words as he recovered from its impact. Rather than being pained from any more mind shocks that could have occurred following the one within his chest, he found himself mulling over it within his head for a short while, though while doing so, his eyes followed the girl and her gestures as she began speaking once more. He took a little while to allow her comments and inquiries to fully settle in, but by the time they had managed to do so - and after he truthfully looked like somewhat of an idiot after his bout of staring - he blinked before quickly shaking his head and breathing a soft sigh while hooking his arms around the outermost portions of the chains holding his own swing up once more- though in a somewhat limper manner than they had been in comparison to before.[break][break]
”...No, no. Nah, they’re-... I mean… Er...yeah. They’re free,” he started off slowly after several seconds; tripping over his own words throughout his continuous and attempted recovery from his own thoughts, but he nonetheless managed to speak his own mind in the end. With a shake of his head and a twitch of his wings, he peered up at her for a little while more before giving her a more natural and common smile of his, nodding towards the empty swing next to him all the while. ”...Go ahead and knock yourself out~. The more the merrier, I guess~,” he added, and this time with a more lenient and lighthearted chuckle.[break][break]
Following those encouraging and welcoming remarks of his, the winged man kept his gaze upon her for several moments more before slowly pulling himself away from his subtle, mesmerized trance; instead casting his attention upon the various visual effects that she herself seemed to be producing and bestowing upon their general, shared vicinity with what seemed to be little more than her presence alone. Rather curious by the varying degrees and hues of light that she gave off, the legendary himself took care to turn his head softly and subtly while he continuously sat upon his occupied swing seat; taking note of the various specks of different colors scattered across the dimmed grounds of the park itself- and rather vibrantly, as well, despite the fact that it was dimming. While they danced across the earth with each small movement that the other gave - shimmying softly with each gesture - he eyed them with a quiet degree of fascination and appreciation alike before tilting his head to glance over at her for a second time. His feet tapped softly against the sand beneath him as he eyed the antlers atop her own her, though given that a few more moments had passed, he sighed before pushing his feet off of the ground once more in order to gently send him swinging at a slow rate once more.[break][break]
He peered up at the sky again, quirking his lip. ”...Also~... I’m just taking a shot in the dark, here, buuut… You feel different, as weird as it sounds,” he mused out loud, looking over at her from the corner of his eye as he moved lazily through the air. ”And it isn’t every day you see someone sparkling like a literal diamond in the dead of night. ...You wouldn’t happen to be one of the legendaries, too, would you?” he continued on curiously.
[attr="class","lying1"]✎ Pandora Xu , (notes here fam)
This just felt so familiar, and she couldn't exactly put her finger on it. If anything, the young girl could only stare up at him in mixed disbelief, intrigue and interest alike. She can't break out of the subtle trance that she was thrown into upon approaching and getting a better look at him. There's a sense of nostalgia that she can't help, and so she's struggling to shake it off. Unfortunately for her, the nagging in the depths of her heart only nag at her even further, desperately attempting to make themselves known. Oh, they were making themselves known, alright. Perhaps it was something dormant within her heart? Mmn.. But even if that were the case, she could have sworn that she had already rid the body of any traces of its previous host. Pandora is left both confused and distraught, narrowing what should have been colourless eyes to the side as they reflected off the red and violet hues from the setting sun. Even when dormant, the colours continued to shimmer and sparkle against the individual strands of hair and what should have been either white or subtly blue eyes. [break][break]
She doesn't understand why she stopped mid-sentence nor does she understand why her heart is pained with each passing second in his presence. It was irrational of her to suddenly stop and stare, if not unspeakably rude. Thankfully, his response is enough to snap her out of the temporary daze that she finds herself in. Yes, she knows that she has never met him before. She knows that she has never met him and she knows for a fact that even if she did, she shouldn't be reacting as strongly as this. That is, of course, unless her host has anything to do with it. But for what the world knew; Yue Hai was dead. She was dead, she was long dead and she has since been dead. Though Xerneas themselves took care in trying to ease the girl of her pain and whatnot--... Hold on. She.. Could have sworn that she has seen this young man before. Perhaps a younger version of him but.. Even then, the wings would have been a large giveaway if not the long, silk-like tail that stuck out from under his shirt and rested against the grains of sand. Pandora gently shakes her head once again, to be rid of the unwelcome thoughts plaguing her mind.[break][break]
The stubby deer tail flicks from behind her while the antlers themselves appeared to flash a few times, specifically where the coloured areas branched out. It was more in a soft yellow colour, something that she liked to think represented joy and optimism alike. Pandora gives the man a smile and nod in appreciation and is quick to make her way over to the adjacent swing. Her arms hook around the chains and her fingers gently begin to wrap around as she balances and stabilizes herself on the seat. Though her initial intention was to drift off in thought and completely disregard the man himself, those same, subtle needles piercing at her heart rather than her head kept her from doing otherwise. Her toes gently scrape the sands in an attempt to get her going, while her legs begin to gently sway back and forth to add some force behind her movements. She glances to her side from the corner of her eyes, registering the man's comment and question regarding her.. Species? Would that be the right word to call it? [break][break]
Now, one would think oh, great. Life Deer. But frankly, Pandora didn't find all the appeal in it. The legendary gijinka tilts her head forwards in a near curiosity, before giving the man a small smile. "... Mmn. Aha.. What gave it away? The antlers, or the fact I look like a rainbow?" To be fair, there was only one other pokemon she had known of that was capable of doing so. But.. Well, she didn't know if she could call them a pokemon. A beast, certainly, but a pokemon was questionable. With that, Pandora releases her grasp on one of her hands to extend her arm out towards the male. "My name is Pandora. Or.. More commonly, Xerneas. I take it that you're a legendary yourself?"

[attr="class","lost1"]...Why do I feel the way I do?
[attr="class","rise"]
[attr="class","dying1"]
[attr="class","mouths1"]...Arceus, this is so weird.
The statement itself hadn’t been spoken aloud. Obviously enough, at least. Yet...it was still something that crossed his mind even after he spoke as he did, as well as throughout the time that he had found himself waiting for some sort of response or another. Regardless, he found himself idling around at first; merely sparing the neighboring individual a quick glance from the corner after his eye after confirming that he - by no means whatsoever - minded whether or not she chose to take a seat upon the remaining swing towards his flank; both throughout the time that she had remained standing, as well as when she herself welcomed his statement and invitation with a smile and went on to take her own, respective seat. Much like she had intended to within the beginning, the avian gijinka only focused upon her for a short while for several moments before turning his head and attempting to redirect his thoughts and focuses; tilting his head to cast voids of a crimson glow upon the skies above. Although he himself hadn’t chosen to begin swaying within his own swing, he remained thoughtful and active within his own ways, even if they had been rather subtle. As the sparkling girl a small distance away used her own momentum to embark upon the namesake of the chained objects that they occupied, Wren himself merely continued to stare upwards within a thoughtful manner; his wings occasionally fluttering within an absentminded manner, and his tail twitching gently as the longer ends of his own tail feathers grazed and slid against the sands beneath him.
...I guess I have to admit, though, he thought to himself once more, barely sparing a glance her way within a vague manner all the while. ...She’s actually kinda cute~. Don’t exactly know what it is about her, but--
Tick tock. Tickity tock. ...Is the cuckoo sounding yet?
...Oh. Oh, God, it’s happening again-... What am I even thinking…?
And with that thought, the man narrowed his eyes while shaking his head softly; clicking his tongue softly while doing so, and generally attempting to find some other matter to indulge himself within, or distract himself with. Something. Anything. ...Which, in itself, was why he eventually chose to question the one besides him as she did her thing. Albeit; it had been partially to distract him, but...it wasn’t like he was lying, either, though. After all, he was telling the truth when he said that he felt something different from her. Not quite a woman’s intuition, obviously, but...something akin to a legendary’s intuition, per say. An intuition that appeared to be correct, too, once he took note of her response. Yet again, the wings that he maintained shifted and twitched softly behind him - more so in curiosity and interest, rather than absentminded idling that time around - as his gaze lowered to loom upon the hand stretched out before him. He blinked for little more than a moment or so before lifting his attention towards the other gijinka herself.
After a small while, he offered her a smile before unhooking one of his hands to take hers within his own.
”...Maybe a bit of Column A and Column B alike~,” he started off within his own response, chuckling quietly as he took care to hold her hand more firmly for a moment or two for sake of shaking it gently before slowly - and with the tiniest touch of underlying, unknown reluctance - releasing his hand from hers. His eyes loomed upon his hand for but a split second before he glanced back up at her; tilting his head and broadening his smile a faint bit. ”Xerneas, though, huh…? In the flesh and blood~? ...Well, it’s my first time seeing you like this- and in general, I guess. Didn’t think you’d be this cute~.”
Another chuckle amidst a slip of the tongue. ...An absentmindedly unknown slip of the tongue that he didn’t quite take note of, but hey. That was a thing.
Nevertheless, he went on with a gentle hum and first, nodding within an initial response to her returning inquiry. ”...Yeah, though. Guess you could say I’m a legendary too,” he continued on thoughtfully. For a brief moment, he peered over his shoulder and towards the wings that he maintained; twitching them for a third time as he lifted his tail and draped its feathers around and over his lap. ”If it isn’t obvious enough, by all the ice and feathers and stuff...I’m Articuno. Wren O’Connor, if you wanna go by the whole gijinka name, but… Yeah. Articuno. Wren. Artie. Call me whatever floats your boat, I guess.”
