I AM NOT A BAD GAL
even though i do bad things
VERY BAD THINGS
such horrible things
Sometime after she'd first learned of the aquarium's existence, Aster made visiting a regular occurrence. Irisia might've been one grand aquarium, but she preferred this particular establishment's condensed state. There was something about watching the different Water Pokémon flit about underwater or play on the limited landmasses provided that evoked a gentle calm to embrace her. On particularly quiet days, she found the space granted her an opportunity to be alone with her thoughts. Not that it was the only place that allowed it, but no harm in a change of scenery every now and then, right?
But the aquarium's general tranquil atmosphere wasn't the only reason she visited. It was renowned for the Water-types that Irisia's own waterways lacked, exotic creatures found worldwide. Of course, she'd seen a majority of them—how could she miss the Pokémon that spawned whenever a certain leviathan threatened to drown out the land-dwellers? In fact, its collection of rare Pokémon was the primary reason the emerald-haired woman chose to return again and again. She wished to see if they'd added a new, special exhibit, containing a specific, unique Pokémon.
Like all her other visits, she casually browsed each exhibit one by one, moving on once she determined they didn't have what she was looking for. Kinda hard to miss something so large, after all. Aster spent extra time at the whale exhibit; if what she was seeking could be anywhere, it'd be there. With a vigilant gaze, she observed the Wailmer and Wailord swimming about, trying to see if there were even a sliver of a hint of her target's presence. After five or so minutes, however, the answer was clear:
No Kyogre yet.
"Ah, what a shame," she muttered, clicking her tongue derisively as she peered into the habitat with a sardonic grin.
