Irene is not a natural gijinka; in fact, the woman is the result of genetically engineering from a human to a gijinka. For her, specifically, Mismagius DNA was injected and embedded into her body. Unfortunately, due to the fact that she was the earliest experiment that actually survived, she suffered great casualties as a result of little prior research and results. Regardless, she is still a powerful individual; both as a person, and as a pokemon. Though she has physically shown little change, there are three, red orbs that rest on her collar bone to form the design of a necklace of sorts. This transformation has also turned the young woman's brown eyes into a deep violet, possibly due to the DNA hindering the pigment of her eyes.[break][break]
For the sole virtue of being a ghost type gijinka, Irene has the ability to phase through objects and other buildings, to a limited extent however. Often times, in order to activate this, her violet eyes temporarily turn into a deep red before being capable of phasing through. Unfortunately, this ability is highly unstable, and therefore not exactly.. Reliable. She is very much prone to falling through floors, objects and otherwise if she doesn't regulate herself. Additionally, Irene is capable of turning herself invisible for short periods of time. Though the majority of clothing is immune, she is in possession of both a tatter cloak and a large, witch-esque hat that comes in line with her ability. These are products from while she was being studied and as she was turning into a gijinka herself. [break][break]
The unique Mismagius abilities she has inherited, would most notably be her voice. Irene has inherited the ability to cast something akin to hexes and curses simply by speaking out words. Of course, these words would have to be in a certain order, and Irene has turned into something that would be a modern witch. Due to the abundance of curses and hexes that she can make up, she has recorded everything in a grimoire of sorts. Her incantations have various purposes, and despite their initially harmful intentions, she can also create incantations that would bring luck, fortune and happiness to an individual. These incantations have many effects, ranging from spells to curses. [break][break]
A notable effect of her incantations, regardless of effect however, can cause headaches to anyone in her general vicinity. Though there is no immediate effect, the headache would gradually worsen the longer someone is exposed to her chanting.
