The Riley's were a small family consisting Artemis and her mother. The two of them recently moved to Iresia so that his mother could have a easier time travelling between home and work, as she worked a researcher at the gijinka forefront. Of course being the new kid in town Artemis had the hard time for making friends with the other children. However she made one friend named Jensen Hawthorne. The time she spent with Jensen was possibly the greatest time Artemis potentially had as a child, having her one friend she always wanted to do things, and even they went on an adventure to a lake nearby only to get lost, but eventually found there way home. Everything took a turn for the worse as soon as Taylor no longer was able to play and meet with Jensen. Unaware that his mother had died and he had moved out on his own. Everyday she knocked on the door awaiting a response that would never come, the other children around began to whisper amoungst themselves and isolated Artemis preventing her from making more friends, which is what he truly wanted.
