 Name xander cromwell Gender male Sexuality homo Group pkmn association | [attr="class","one_right"] [PTabbedContent] [PTab=About] [attr="class","one_main"]alexander, or more commonly referred to as xander, cromwell has seemingly rose through the ranks of the pokemon association out of no where. a quick ascension would be an understatement. from graduating at the top of his class, to a spot at the flying gym, to stand-in leadership during the imum war, to council member, xander has claimed seat of power after seat of power in rapid-fire succession, and he has no plans of stopping any time soon.[break][break] [/PTab={background:transparent;width:350px;padding:0px;margin-top:-3px;height:250px;overflow:auto;}]ambitious, resourceful, and selfish, xander has put himself before everything in this world, and it shows. living alone in a ornately furnished studio; luxurious clothing; lax work hours. xander has achieved everything he had wanted to as a child, except for complete control of the region - but that was in due time. he had his freedom. he could go anywhere or do anything whenever he wished it, just like his father. however, the collected and calm demeanor he portrays at work is a delicately woven mask for a ball he wishes he didn't have to attend. he's trembling under the mask; scared of being tossed away again, forgotten, looked over, out classed, out powered. he refuses to lose, and this determination manifests in tactical survival instincts. [break][break] he's rather blunt, to the point of being abrasive. he's life, although lavish, was never sugarcoated. abandoned by his parents to fend for himself at boarding schools all his life taught him to survive on wit and power. fists spoke louder than words on the playground; that knowledge loses to power every turn. he's not going to grovel to someone, and despite having the brains to lead a life of academics, he's devoted his life to gaining and maintaining control of power because of it. [PTab=Friends] [attr="class","one_main"] [/PTab={background:transparent;width:350px;padding:0px;margin-top:-3px;height:250px;overflow:auto;}]xander will have friends that are few and far between. he's abrasive and closed off personality tend to frighten people away. however, he's cordial and respectful to those in some sort of authoritative hierarchy above him or of equal status, despite his give-it-to-you-straight philosophy. he's respected among the association squad for his help in the war, but that's typical forgotten by most, which only serves to piss him off. he really needs at least one or two close friends? wine drinkers, work buddies, old gym friends, i'm down to work anything out because he does like people, he's just generally disliked by them lol. he's also fiercely protective of his friends. it's like his own life is on the line if their's are, and he'll do anything in his power to save them. just note that taking a bullet for you is definitely, 10 out 10 not in his power to do. sorry, but his own safety trumps his friends, but he will fight to win for you? you can't have everything, jeez. [break][break] tl;dr[break] > won't have many friends, but lots of acquaintences[break] > needs a couple of close friends/best friends for inner circle[break] > friends will have a volatile nugget screeching at their enemies for them[break] [PTab=Enemies] [attr="class","one_main"] [/PTab={background:transparent;width:350px;padding:0px;margin-top:-3px;height:250px;overflow:auto;}]xander is a big ball of anxiety and anger ready to burst at any given moment, and i really, really want that to happen. he's on the fence with his loyalties to the association because he just wants to be in control of literally everything (what a good life goal my guy), so he's side-eyeing parallax. most enemies will be those who piss him off, belittle him, act as if he's nothing, etc. you see a pattern? he's not much on the "im gonna hate you on principal because you side with x" squad. he's more of a "don't mess with me or i'll fuq u up" squad. he's ready to brawl any time any place, and he'll teach you a thing or two about disregarding flying types!!! he's generally v volatile, and abrasive, and like closed off, that it irritates people, so they could go here too? i would really love a gr8 "rival"-for a lack of a better word-that treats him like dirt on their shoes and basically want the same thing in life? power and control, and this person just brushes xander off as literally no competition what-so-ever, and it will piss xan off SO MUCH i need it plz. [break][break] tl;dr[break] > pisses off lots of people, so bring me all the enemies[break] > doesn't care about ur faction, just don't threaten his/his friends immediate safety[break] > give me a rival char that doesn't see xander as any competition PLZ[break] [PTab=Lovers] [attr="class","one_main"] [/PTab={background:transparent;width:350px;padding:0px;margin-top:-3px;height:250px;overflow:auto;}][/PTabbedContent={border:0px;margin-top:-20px;background:transparent;}]this is a complicated mess. i honestly don't see this going anywhere for a while. xander is like....really gay but never admits it to like anyone ever. he's a Golden Gay TM - but only cause he's a total virgin. he's terrible at flirting, getting hit on, all of that jazz. he really just focuses on his studies, his work, and his pokemon. he's not ever gotten close enough to anyone to even consider dating them, let alone have sex with them. despite his nontraditional upbringing, he's very weird about sexual contact. he's in a mindset where if someone is important enough to interrupt his alone time, then he'd be interested enough in them to do something about it. i'd love to see where something goes with characters organically in rp, but fair warning. it'll be slow burn. extremely slow burn, my dude.
