Mary didn't exactly have the most ideal start to her life. Her father was an abusive man and Mary was his primary target. Often she would face the wrath of the man, well into her early teenage years where she was quick to run from home and find out life on the streets wasn't even that much better than home. The struggle for survival was vicious and she found herself in a situation where she had to make difficult decisions to die. Eventually it came to a point where Mary began selling herself out, trading away any last shred of her dignity just to be able to eat a single meal and keep herself comfortable enough. Something that to this day she does regret still, as she does with many various actions and paths she has taken in the past.[break][break]

At some point a worshipper, a man of Arceus, came to her and promised her a good life. Desperate to take a new step she wasn't willing to pass up such a chance, a moment that could turn for the better. Alas, it did not. Life realistically stayed about the same for the young woman, finding herself in a situation that was different, but no better than what she already had to live with prior. Yet there was a single solace in that dull, bleak darkness that gave her some hope. A young man she had met, befriended and grown close to. She had finally built a friendship, nothing based on benefit, but a genuine friend! Just seeing that young man could light up her whole world, if even for a brief moment of time. Yet the happiness didn't last long and her world was shattered yet again. For one, Mary was able to learn she was being targeted and had to leave, quick. Though it wasn't before one final fling with her friend, who had offered her a new life, but hesitation ebbed at her and caused her to run away from such a promise. Something she never has forgiven herself for, to take such a chance for a new life. Yet there was one memory she could always hold onto, close to her. Mary had ended up pregnant.[break][break]

Starting a new life under a new name, Mary found herself landing a job in a small cafe until she gave birth to the now fatherless child. A healthy young boy who became her whole world. Mary spent a long time doing what she could, but as a single mother it wasn't easy. She had to make money not only to feed herself, but her son and Pokemon as well. Luckily she had help, when a babysitter couldn't handle things she had one of her most trusted Pokemon take charge and act as the babysitter until she returned from a long day at work. A few years passed by and soon her baby was now a happy young toddler, blissfully unaware of the darkness the world held, and something Mary was very much glad for. To this day Mary keeps up her daily life, caring for her son and working a job as a waitress in order to bring home what she could. Yet while her life currently is monotonous, she always is looking to find that shred of light that could make her world so much brighter than it had ever been.

Mary is a hard working single mother who spends a lot of time caring for her son and trying to just make a decent living. She's a good person, but has lead a hard life and really could use somebody trustworthy to lean on. She tries to look on the positive side of things most of the time but of course can always have a slight slip up from time to time, especially during times when stress levels are high.

Mary has few friends she truly can trust, and even those friends don't even know her real name. She always goes by the name she gave herself as a means to hide away. Though if someone can truly crack her open they will learn quite a bit. One big thing is being willing to be okay with kids, as Mary's son is a huge part of her life.[break][break]

Mary has... Many enemies. A lot of them stemming from her past life, but usually she isn't one to always dwell on the past. She does however not like certain types and of course her Aggron can pick up on this, so be careful or you'll be dealing with some rather unhappy Pokemon. Mary definitely won't let you back into her life if you screw things up more than three times.[break][break]

As a single mother, love has been a tough problem for Mary, but she's not against it. The biggest issue is the affection she still holds for the man who fathered her child. She tries to deny this, but it never can leave her be. Mary is very unlikely to let another man into her life, so expect the friend zone.[break][break]
