Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). Aligning with the Republic was, in Aster's opinion, one of the best decisions she made since acquiring a vessel and submersing into human society. She appreciated what those in the faction did, and enjoyed taking on those from the other groups. Parallax, given their attitude toward Pokémon, truly disgusted her—more so than the people who sought to control her original form without her consent. The Association she felt more neutral to; however, so long as they opposed the Republic, she would fight against them. Regardless, the two factions kept her busy alongside her work as a freelance photographer and allowed her to hone her abilities, so she was somewhat grateful they existed.[break][break]
Aster sauntered through New Veherna, having "lost" herself in the city. Of course, she knew her way around, but she enjoyed walking around without a particular place in mind. Besides, she could people-watch, stopping briefly to listen in on a nearby conversation (provided it was loud and comprehensible) or see what others were doing. It helped her further understand human nature, allowing her to completely act as if she were one of them. She never listened in or paid much attention to people for very long, however—not unless they caught her interest. Seldom ever did, as seemed to be the case today.[break][break]
Until she heard a familiar voice.[break][break]
While the sound of a person requesting a battle never provoked a response from her—much as she loved battling—Aster found herself turning around after a young girl posed the question. But it wasn't a complete stranger. Certainly, time had altered her appearance, but how could she forget one of the few people who hitched a ride on her back? The woman paused in the street, watching the girl carefully for a moment. A smirk crept up her lips as she took some steps toward her, only fading once she called out to her.[break][break]
"Hey, you with the long, brown hair." Aster waited to see if the girl would turn around; if not, she'd call for her again, each time using different descriptive words that fit her, until she caught her attention. Afterward, she continued, "If it's a battle you're looking for, I'll be happy to take you on." She said this with a smile on her face—a faux one which she mastered from the amount of time she spent people-watching. Friendliness was surprisingly easy to fake provided the person either didn't know her well or was similar to her. It was also necessary if she wished to engage fellow allegiants in casual battles, something she hardly had time for nowadays given her work and hobbies, prioritizing those over anything else. Of course, if this girl had improved since their last encounter, Aster could expect a good battle worthy of her time.

Ah, yes, the one who tagged along with the young man who somehow found a way to control me.
Cold reaction aside, I love the idea of the two becoming friends! ...That is to say, Aster would pretend to be Sapph's pal at first not because she's still kinda salty over being ridden without her consent, nooo...okay, she kinda is, but shhhh, but over time could come to trust her and see her as an actual friend. She's also definitely down for a battle; she loves honing her skills against other Trainers! (Maybe they can bond over that???)

FRIENDS
Aster is the kind of person who'll pretend to befriend someone and do "friend-like" things with them for the sake of getting information, using them, or both. If they become useless to her, she'll stab them in the back. She has difficulty trusting anyone who isn't a Pokémon or one of her superiors, thus making it hard for her to forge lasting bonds. Those she ends up actually befriending she'll be loyal to and protect to the best of her abilities. Furthermore, depending on how much Aster trusts the person, they may be entrusted with her secrets—such as her undying love of romance novels (something acquired shortly after the vessel was taken over) and the fact that her real personality is hidden behind a mask she wears to help her survive. Aster also is unlikely to reveal her legendary status to anyone unless she's absolutely certain they can be trusted or happen to be fellow legendaries. (She does have markings—connected golden rings running down her arms—but she wears a hoodie most the time. If revealed, she'll claim they're tattoos.) Betrayal means making a permanent enemy out of her.
On a side note, Aster enjoys meddling in people's romantic affairs, even if they don't necessarily exist. (If she senses a potential ship, by Arceus will she try to play matchmaker.) She's more likely to do this with people whom she's closer to, so have fun with that!
ENEMIES
It's impossible for Aster not to have enemies given her association with the Republic and the various aggressive and/or cunning actions she's taken for the faction's sake. Both victims of her schemes—"friends" included—and those she manipulated into helping her are more than likely going to despise her, hold a grudge against her, or anything of that nature. (Provided they find out, anyway; she's very careful, making it difficult for her to be caught.) She may even betray fellow Republic members unless they're of high rank. As previously mentioned, Aster herself distrusts most people; thus, doing any kind of dirty work—stealing, beating up others, even killing people—is hardly a problem for her.
In regards to her relationship with the other legendaries, Aster currently holds no animosity toward any—not even the Deoxys she fought some time ago, or Groudon or Kyogre.
LOVERS
Aster has read countless romance novels, and she's slept with various men—either for information or pure pleasure—after sating her curiosity toward human sex. She wants to fall in love and be in a long-lasting relationship, yet she lacks any sort of truly romantic experience whatsoever. (Not surprising, as she spent an incredibly long time up in space or isolated from others, Pokémon included.) Thus, she has an unrealistic view of love. She strives for consummate love and believes that it is not difficult to attain and maintain, despite research stating otherwise. Additionally, she's guarded her first kiss until she meets someone she believes to be "the one". Unfortunately, her standards are high: Her ideal man is a "prince" (who, to her, is more like the men in her romance novels—i.e., not very princely at all) and thus finds it difficult falling in love. Those she ends up "dating" are more than likely victims of her schemes; it's unlikely she'll take the relationship seriously and continue to sleep around.
Anyone who wishes to court Aster must be understanding and patient with her. They must also be able to gain her trust, else it's unlikely she'll become infatuated with them. Once she falls for someone, she falls hard in love. Fortunately, the person doesn't have to be anything like her "prince" (the kind of person she's looking for is as mythical as Arceus). She'll stop being unfaithful, drop her mask around them, entrust them with most her secrets (even her status as a legendary), protect them with her life, spoil them, and remain loyal and loving to them for as long as the relationship lasts.And hey, what's cooler than being the Dragon Lord's lover?
OTHER
Being the Dragon Lord fused with a skilled Trainer (Rayquaza picked what it thought was the most suitable vessel for it, after all), Aster is always down for battles! Other than that, I AM NOT THE BEST AT PLOTTING TBH... But, I am open to just about anything, so if you have any other ideas, feel free to throw them at me!

For millennia upon millennia, the Dragon Lord remained above the world's ozone layer, flying around practically endlessly. When it descends, it does so for two reasons: to rest in an isolated location—its favorite spots were the Embedded Tower in Johto and Sky Pillar in Hoenn—and to bring an end to Groudon and Kyogre's fierce clashes.[break]

While resting within the Embedded Tower, Rayquaza was found and captured by the Pokémon Association. For a period of time, the dragon was contained in a research facility, its life at the mercy of researchers. Luckily, a rogue Salamence destroyed the facility, releasing Rayquaza from its prison.[break]

Five years after its containment, Rayquaza was found by a man and young boy while resting atop the Sky Pillar. The two managed to wake the Dragon Lord and convince it to take them to Sootopolis City to bring and end to Groudon and Kyogre's feud yet again. There, the dragon's roar, combined with the Red and Blue Orbs brought the legendaries' fight to a standstill. Once both had gone back into a deep slumber, Rayquaza attacked its controllers before fleeing back into the sky.[break]

Five more years had passed before Rayquaza was needed yet again, this time to prevent a giant meteoroid from destroying the planet. The Dragon Lord was once again sought out and discovered near the facility that once held it captive. Once again, the dragon fought back; however, it managed to be subdued by way of an orb held by a young man. Some aggressive outbursts and the impalement of one of its worshipers later, the legendary headed into outer space with the aforementioned man and a young woman on its back. With their help, Rayquaza was able to Mega Evolve and strike down the meteor, along with the Deoxys that emerged from it. After taking the two back to Earth, the dragon ascended, free once more.[break]

Rather than return to space or to one of its resting places, the Dragon Lord decided to live among the humans, having become bored of its usual routine. It sought out a female vessel and took over it, taking on the first name of the only worshiper allowed to ride its back. After surveying the humans for a short period of time, Rayquaza set out to become a powerful Trainer, catching and raising Pokémon and traveling the world just as many humans did. Its adventures eventually brought it to the Lyeant Region, where, after learning of the reconstruction and the different factions' plans, chose to side with the Republic. Of course, the Dragon Lord hadn't forgotten about Groudon and Kyogre. Unsure whether they, too, had taken on a human vessel, the great dragon knew that there was a sliver of a chance it would need to leave to break up yet another dispute between the two.
