TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!
tbe: take two! is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise. the current skin was created by pharaoh leap using font icons primarily from ion icons and fonts from google fonts. banner art by vav of pixiv. characters, with the exception of canons from the manga, belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours.
((Open to one person for now as I'm new to thread RP and wanna start small! PM if unsure/if you have questions! Character is TOM RIDGIT))
Tom had heard rumors of the water of Firefly Springs, that water glowed, that it had various different properties. At first he had assumed it was simply Parallax propaganda, little things to try and make them seem less like the evil brutes that they were. However, after hearing the rumors spread even amongst those he considered allies, he couldn't deny his curiosity. His pokemon didn't think it was a good idea, but they knew Tom well known - he'd go with or without them.
He only wanted a jar of the water, he had no interest in catching the pokemon in the spring; sure it was Parallax controlled but that was their home. He wasn't keen on needlessly capturing a pokemon, he had his team, and unless a pokemon wanted to go with him he wouldn't catch another. Equipped with his usual kit, pokeballs, and a jar for the water, he set out. Sure this was a bad idea, he wasn't sure if he'd be recognized or not. Being a radical for the Republic may have unforeseen consequences, and yet he found his dumb ass sneaking into the springs regardless.
He made fast for the water, taking a moment to first dip a finger in it, making sure he wasn't about to tote a jar of acid back to the shop in the bag he kept his pokeballs in - having a Golisopod suddenly released from the ball could pose problems and draw a lot of attention. He filled the jar quickly, amazed at how pretty it looked even when jarred. Parallax didn't deserve this, they really didn't. Pick headbutted him, letting out distressed chitters. Tom shoved the jar in the bag quickly, standing and turning, looking around, frowning.

The Firefly Springs was the first place she went to when she was feeling down. Down, stressed or anything of the like. Granted, Jasmine was one of the last people who would be stressed to the point she needs to put her work down and get out on her own. Unfortunately for her, upon reaching a certain point, it'd be impossible to further focus on the piles and piles of whatever papers that her other workers and employees couldn't get done for themselves. As if that wasn't vexing enough, it wasn't unheard of for someone to mess up and for her to swoop in and straighten the work out. And here she thought that she was going to be passing by with just looking like the CEO of one of the largest companies on the damned poke-earth. Thankfully, the business classes and the like she took as a child helped her with quite a bit. Quite a bit, and so she had her own fair work ethic. But even then, the fact she's out by the springs on her lonesome.. It's a rare sight. If she's going to be frank, it's more because of her own personal feelings. It's less of stress from work and.. More from someone else. [break][break]
From him, if anything.[break][break]
Violet eyes narrow at the thought. She glares at the surface of the water in distaste and disdain alike, a hand raised up to gently clutch over her chest before pulling her knees in closer to her body. ".. Stupid Bai." The woman grumbles to herself before gently resting her elbow against one of her knees, the palm of her hand gently brushing through the locks of bangs that fell over the glass eye of hers. It was him being the idiot, of course. It was him just.. Messing around with her. It was him who was just teasing, toying around. Nothing that he did was serious. Nothing he did towards her was out of his own, personal interest. Even then, it already got her thinking. The what ifs. The what then, the assumptions that she's too scared of pursuing and question. The thoughts that plague her mind and the irritable, hopeful thinking that liked to entertained the notion. It was stupid, she continued to tell herself. It was stupid and she should just.. Stop hoping for something that wasn't ever going to happen. [break][break]
Hell, Bai was more interested in other people, anyways. Clearly, he was. After all, he wouldn't be such an idiot if he weren't. [break][break]
But wandering in her thoughts hurts her heart. It prompts a sting to resonate in her chest, enough to make the young woman flinch with a quiet wince. On the other hand, she feels the soft pat on her back. The woman looks upwards and at the lopunny standing behind her, wearing a concerned expression before giving the trainer a brightened smile. More in her attempts to cheer the business woman up. Jasmine can only offer a weakened smile before tilting her heads forwards, hand extending out to gently pat the top of the rabbit pokemon's head. "... Thanks, Phoebe. But I'll be fine~" The pokemon giggles a bit, but even then she eyes the trainer before slowly slouching onto the young woman's back. A pokemon she's had since little one was an egg, this one. So while Phoebe was slouching over her back, Jasmine more than openly welcomed the fluffy affection. [break][break]
However as she's enjoying her time at the Springs, her Alolan Vulpix takes her time to explore the surroundings with a chime. Sera - said vulpix in question - scuttles over to find a man with a jar of some of the spring water in it, beginning to jump up in ecstasy upon finding another soul here. If anything, the ice fox just wanted to play around while her trainer was trying to calm herself down. The Vulpix raises her paws into the air, smiling brightly as her tails sway behind her.
Pick quietened down quickly once it was clear Tom had spotted the 'threat' in question. He relaxed upon seeing an Alolan vulpix - an absolutely beautiful one at that - pulling a couple of treats out of his bag. No doubt its trainer was near by, so the sooner he got it to quieten down the better. He offered a treat, raising the other hand to gently pat it on the head. He didn't see many Alolan pokemon bar his own golisopod, so while he knew he was still in danger, he was going to appreciate the experience.
"You're cute, sweet too, but I need to get going ok?" The longer he stayed the more likely he'd be spotted. He did quick check, made sure he had everything and everyone, before clicking his tongue so Pick knew to stick close. They said a quick goodbye to the vulpix before following after Tom, who was moving slowly through the springs, too worried now hat if he moved too quickly he'd be seen. His exit was going to be difficult, it seemed.
Someone was by the water, directly in the path to his way out, with a lopunny out of its ball. He shared a worried glance with Pick, before sucking in a sharp breath and continuing on. Maybe if he stayed just a little further back, and moved quietly, he wouldn't be noticed. He knew he didn't look like a Parallax, the only thing potentially going for him may have been the color of his horns, but that wouldn't be enough to convince anyone.

Sera smiles brightly as the treat comes into view, her tails swaying in delight as the tiny vulpix begins to jump up with both glee and impatience alike. She was still fairly young, seeing how chipper and energetic the little thing was. Sera was more than happy to receive her fair share of treats, tiny fangs beginning to contently nibble into the biscuits. As she was enjoying this snack, she purrs in response to his hand gently caressing the top of her head, now instinctively leaning her snout to poke against the man's palm. The Alolan Vulpix basks in the affection and attention rather contently before waving her paw upwards to the fellow alolan pokemon, albeit briefly before getting back to enjoying the pets. [break][break]
Unfortunately, my dear sir, it was going to be a tad bit more difficult to get rid of the vulpine pokemon. Sera was the type to bask in affection and attention, even if it was from complete strangers. So at his claim and near haste to leave, the Alolan Vulpix seems to puff out it's cheek before whining a fair amount. Her ears twitch before shaking her head, which ended up in having to shake out her entire body. Flakes of snow flew from her bundle of tails, before skimping up to him with those tiny paws of hers. The Vulpix lets out her own, soft cry in hopes to get his attention - although potentially to his chagrin - it also caught the attention of her trainer, who was sitting by the spring side. Jasmine turns her head towards the vulpix, quirking a brow in curiosity before ultimately pushing herself off the ground and approaching the sound of her Vulpix. [break][break]
... Although, Jasmine really didn't need to get up to see who her Vulpix was trying to follow. In fact, she was quite surprised to find her Vulpix running up and actually biting down onto the hem of his pants. Sera's paws dug themselves into the ground, however now the vulpix is being dragged across the ground, attempting to hold the man back and get his attention. For a moment, Jasmine finds it.. Odd as to why her Vulpix was acting in such a way. Odd, and.. Really, really inappropriate. "Sera!" Jasmine calls out to the Vulpix, who pauses for a moment to glance over to the trainer who isn't all too far off. The long, slender lizard-esque tail sways behind her in curiosity and intrigue alike as she glances to the male through her one good eye. [break][break]
And thought she was about to make her way over in a composed manner, Sera seemed reluctant to let go even after her trainer called out. Sera continues to bite on the man's pants.. Until.. Well..[break] There was the silent 'rip' sound and you have an Alolan Vulpix standing there with a piece of pant cloth in her mouth. [break] That and.. Jazzy was probably screaming. Internally.
Ok, so there were a few things wrong with this situation. First of all, he had a vulpix chomped firmly down onto the bottom of his pants, and he knew better than to try pry a pokemon off something it decided it wanted to bite. The second? This was most definitely going to attract the attention of the woman sat by the water. He tried to nudge the vulpix, offer another treat, heads pats...nothing worked. He tried to tug her along, but that... well. It didn't work.
Worse than the attention greedy pokemon attached to the leg of his pants? He'd been noticed. He damn near jumped out of his skin when he heard the woman's voice, turning to look at her, mentally planning what the hell to even do. Pick was hiding behind him, clinging to his back in good old bat fashion, no doubt waiting. Should there be need to strike, a surprise attack couldn't hurt their chances, could it?
"No, it's ok, really, I"
Hearing the tearing noise, he looked down quickly, eyes wide, a good quarter, maybe even a third, of his pants leg now just straight up gone, clamped firmly in Sera's teeth. He laughed shortly, nervously, he hadn't wanted to make a scene, just grab some water and leave!
"Don't worry about it." He waved a hand dismissively. "I know the struggles of having young pokemon." With that, he nodded, trying to take his leave while shielding Pick from view to the best of his ability. Nope, nope, no, not doing this, talking to people was hard enough as is, let alone talking to the enemy on enemy turf.
