PARTY GIRLS CAN'T GET HURT[break]
Athena wasn't born a gijinka. She was made into one. By choice alone, this woman underwent the excruciatingly, painfully, slow procedure of having froslass cells combined into her very DNA, thus becoming an Artificial Gijinka. The process was not pretty, but it is a very powerful demonstration of her conviction. Athena abates people's curiosity with a simple answer: curiosity. As a scientist, what better way to understand something than going through it herself? Her aim is power, and Pokemon have, for centuries, kept that power for themselves. It's about time humans get a taste of that power too. [break][break]

Being artificially made, Athena must consciously activate the dormant pokemon cells within her body to fully take advantage of her abilities. You can tell they are active as her eyes turn completely white. Blue and white markings around her eyes appear, reminiscent of the coloration froslass bears. It's possible to feel a severe drop in temperature when this happens. Frost may appear in her skin, making translucently pale, and her breath creates clouds of mist. Her voice has an added echo to it, as if another voice, with a higher pitch, has been layered into it. Artificially made makes her weaker than other naturally born gijinka, thus requiring breaks after each use. [break][break]

The ghost-type part of her cells dons her all the advantages of these undead creatures. She can phase through matter, without disturbing it's natural properties for a limited amount of time. Athena can perform partial-phasing, selectively choosing a body part that becomes incorporeal or full body phasing, which requires her to hold her breath while passing through matter. Just like swimming. This also makes her immune to normal & fighting type moves. [break][break]

In the same manner, she can make herself invisible for a short while, and this requires concentration. Touching another creature dispels what short time she has to make herself look unseen. Furthermore, her clothes are immune to her ability. If she wants to become fully invisible, Athena needs to shed clothes and any accessories from her body. She is capable of using Shadow Ball and Confuse Ray while active. [break][break]

The ice-type in her cells allows her to manipulate a limited amount of ice and snow. She is capable of resisting below freezing temperatures, walking out stark naked in snow and hail. Her touch is the deadliest, allowing her to coat anything she touches in a thin layer of ice. The longer she remains in contact with the person the thicker the coat of ice will be. Frost Breath is her signature move, but can use a stronger version of this breath, Blizzard. [break][break]

Her froslass cells contain a hidden ability: cursed body. The way it works with Athena is that contact with her body will also cause any gijinka or pokemon to weaken and become unable to use their abilities while in contact with her.[break][break]





You are born with your future ahead of you. They look into your pale, blue eyes, and see a cute angel in disguise. their smiles tell much of the expectations these two love birds have. match made in a petridish. you weren't born in a petridish. love was the key to your lock. [break][break]

Myth and lore fill your dreams. You can blame your mother for that. She hopes that mixing her work with taking care of you will hopefully, gently push you into the right direction. Your father, after all, is one of the most accredited researchers into Legendary Pokemon.If only he was there most of the time. [break][break]

It doesn't matter though. Your mother does not need to convince you to take up science. Science runs in your veins. As you grow older and expand your already impressive repertoire, it's easy to gain your own view and understanding of how it works. But it's difficult when the passion you hold for one thing, is complete opposite of how others see it. [break][break]

An innocent fascination towards Pokemon turns into something unfathomable. It's your own little secret. No one needs to know about this. You haven't fully grasped that which you seek. They want you to focus on your studies, but at the same time hang out with friends and do normal kid stuff. As you grow older, it's clear that the apple does not fall far from tree. You have your mother's attention to detail and your father's debunking skills. [break][break]

It is not easy to lead a double life. Perfect daughter by day, mad scientist by night. Her roles vary, but the goal is the same. Power. Knowledge. Money. These things run the world, you have the potential of achieving great things... if only nothing was holding you back. [break][break]



Years pass and you've learned to suppress the urges. The "unscratchable" itch, growing, festering. A suffocating entropy of emotions. There's small comfort in your mundane studies. Growing up certainly has it's perks. You have much more freedom than a child. They trust you to handle Pokemon, but your parents still seem to keep a watchful eye on you. [break][break]

They have witnessed you perform feats far beyond the capabilities of a child. Being regarded as a genius may not be a good thing after all. It's a lonely place, but you feel happiest with surgical knife at hand, the light of the lamp shinning on a carcass. You prefer your specimen live, but to everyone's opinion, it is too cruel a tale. It's disappointing when the people you look up to don't exactly measure to your expectations. There's only one thing you can do. The world wasn't created in a day. [break][break]

Lying is a natural impulse, and like many of your urges, it's one you'll have to learn to control. Lab aide doesn't seem like a bad position to have. Inconspicuous, but remains within the loop of the thickening plot of the Aether Foundation. [break][break]

You have yet to reach the peak of your power. It's a heavy realization, but one with quite the advantages. It will give you ample to prepare to for what's in stored in your future. At the moment, your team is very lacking. A no-good metallic piece of crap and mental, defective waste of space make for quite the party. Sadly, it's not the party you want. [break][break]

There is something deep within the bowels of the Aether Foundation that call for help. You hear the pleas, and smile wickedly.[break][break]



Time flies quickly; it won't wait for anyone. You have climbed ranks in a mere year. From a simple lab aide, to one of the leading scientists under the Aether Foundation. Trust is important, if you want to infiltrate a fortress. The veil hiding the endeavours of Aether Foundation have been lifted, and it was such a pleasant surprise to find their goals aligning. Unfortunately, success favors the brave. The Aether Foundation's future is bleak when the president goes haywire. But you knew that already. You also knew that the empire that was the artificial island would perish. Not this soon though, but that is fine too. You're almost to your goal. Amidst the chaos, you make away with one of the specimen they hide. A bio-engineered fighting machine. The perfect addition to your team. [break][break]

You make yourself scarce, taking advantage of their weakness, taking some of their resources as you make off for your next adventure. Your parents are worried sick and have been contacting you since forever. Unfortunately, their perfect daughter has emerged from her cocoon, and is ready to fly away. [break][break]

You've been to so many other regions, and joined up with so many teams. It's surprising you haven't made a name for yourself in the criminal industry. Learning the dirty ropes of the underworld will do you good. It has certainly done quite a lot for your entire team. Your expertise in legendary pokemon remains short. No matter how many rare Pokemon you obtain, grabbing your hands on any of the main characters in the stories your mother used to tell you. [break] [break]

Wings take you to the region of Lyeant; a place that is soon thrown in between blade and fire. You're unsure whether you have come to the place at the right time. Despite the years you spent fostering your strength and power, a war is still too much for a 14 year old. What you need right now are allies. It's a difficult choice to choose a side but the promise of power pulls you in like a tide. [break] [break]

The prodecure is painful, and wrecking. There's a high chance you might not come out of this alive. If so, then that means you need to pick a side. Team Imum offers to surgically improve you; make you stronger, faster, smarter. The promise holds no thrill for her... if it were such a normal promise. The cons outweigh the pros of the surgery. But it doesn't matter. You already made your decision to become more than what you are. [break] [break]


Being a Froslass Gijinka isn't easy. The surgery goes well... but Team Imum loses the war. Still, the remnants of the organization take care of you, making you the beacon of hope that will bring back the glory days of Imum. One year has passed at it seems that the side effects of the surgery are gone... for now. [break] [break]

Your Pokemon have missed you, but with new additions to your team, it's going to take awhile before you can become comfortable on your own skin again. Test after test, the scientists are astonished by the progress you've made thus far. It seems having the powers of a Pokemon suit you. You spend the next 3 years trying to build yourself from scratch. [break] [break]

However, you're not the only who has to start from an empty canvas. [break] [break]

You live as a test subject. It isn't the life you expected, but you're starting to see what the situation is for what it really is. You are, first and foremost, a scientist. One that is smart enough to figure this out by yourself. These fools aren't needed, and resent the fact that you probably would have made a faster recovery if not got them. [break] [break]

The pokemon you've chosen carefully and taken care of are forebidden from seeing you, and though they are tools, that doesn't sit with well with you. It's time to take matters to within your own hands. With your newly found powers, you break out from the facility with your Pokemon, and steal some others.[break] [break]

The rest of Imum either scatters or is arrested. That's some load off your shoulders. But this is just an afterthought. There are some more important things to do now that you're free. You need to settle down, get your own lab, and continue with your life's work. Your research. There are news of others like yourself, and if you're gonna know more about you, then it's imperative that you know more about them too. [break] [break]



The Pokemon Association seems to be the safest place to hide your schemes. No one will expect an ex-criminal to hide amongst tree huggers. The Association is more than happy to accept more people who believe in the same ideals that they do. As if. But at least it's a job that pays well. Staying low has been the key to your survival. Where others died, you stayed true and survived. [break] [break]

You've been through a different kind of hell, and if truth be told, you're still recuperating. But this doesn't mean you can slack off on your endeavors, can you?

Athena isn’t nice. If she starts smiling, run away and never look back. Seriously. Lest you have some sort of fetish for being experimented on. Yup, she’s pretty messed up in the head. But most will forgive her because she’s damn hot despite her personality. As an aspiring scientist, and somewhat new to the entire region, she’s open to all sorts of ships. But mainly ships that are dark, vindictive, heavy and scandalous. Think Shonda Rhyme’s Scandal and you’re there.

Her idea of friendship isn’t the conventional novelty most people understand. The equation reads: usefulness + intelligence = friendship. She likes to engage on talks with similarly intellectual people, mainly researchers, scholars, but no certification or diploma is required (but may help) to become her friend. There aren’t a lot of people lining for this ship, though. Athena has more enemies than friends, and has a knack for making people angry and pushing their buttons. Being her friend is quite taxing, and I have no idea why anyone would that to themselves.

Yeah, this one is easy. She may not reveal her true colors as an ex-villain but you can that she cares little for others outside of her goals. She's a very passionate woman when it comes to the things she wants, and while logic may dictate her every move, Athena will break everything in her way just to get what she wants. Even if it means hurting you. You could be someone she wronged before, or a rival who got put in their place by her brilliance. Either way there are definitely more reasons to hate her than love her. Or vice versa, if you swing that way.
