hands of time DAY AFTER DAY, LIKE A LIFETIME AWAY, I KEEP HOLDIN' ON The city by the sea was experiencing a rather pleasant day today. A warm breeze brushed over the waters before heading inland, giving the air a lightness that was rare now a days. The sun was shining high above, a few white fluffy clouds sprinkled here and there, perfect for children to try and guess the shapes. Humid as always, but not hot. Bright, but not burning. The wingulls were lazily drifting through the air, the magikarp leaping through the water, the combees buzzed around the flowers. It was the perfect weather for a perfect day. Selene hated it, of course. Her indifference to the conditions made everyone's gushing over the temperature irritating. Yes, she knew that the weather was nice. Yes, she had been told that it was only to get 'better' through the week. Yes, she was painfully aware of the fact that the tides were nice and warm. Over and over people greeted the woman with small talk, and it was well over starting to get on Selene's nerves. But she just stood there and smiled, kind and open as her voice practically trembled with excitement for the woman who was getting married in a week on the beach. How nice! You don't say? That's wonderful! Oh, I couldn't agree more. Yeah, I think it's nice out too~ The shopping center was bustling today, filled with countless bodies with absolutely bubbling personalities. Oh, how Selene loathed crowds. But she had to be here today. After all, this was vital to her newest mission. Infiltrate a masquerade ball hosted by a member of Parallax suspected of being a double agent. Gather information about him. Make a decision on whether the accusations were accurate or not, and eliminate if necessary. And as much as Selene hated being partnered with other people, this time she didn't argue. Blue was probably one of the only people that Selene could honestly say she didn't hate as much as other people. The trainer was girly, positive, and friendly. But she was deceptive, cunning, and ruthless when needed. Selene respected that. It didn't hurt that there was never a dull moment around Blue either. And with something as fanciful and complicated as a ball, the ghost knew she was out of her element. With Blue, that factor balanced out. So here she was, waiting for her current partner to show up in order to go shopping for various supplies that Selene was lacking. Like dresses. This was going to be such a long day... 0421 WORDS | | Blue Mizu | | HELP THIS POOR SOUL GET FABULOUS |

[googlefont=Open+Sans] i'm going to break down your walls, hijack your brain, run through your veins. Oh, Blue was more than ecstatic for this.
The brunette trainer was happily making her way down the town, easily weaving through the multitudes of the people around and about. Everything was bubbly, the crowds were peppy, and honestly this was just the sort of environment that the trainer adored being surrounded by. It's too bad that the reason she came out wasn't as sweet as the melting white chocolate that rested on her tongue. Rather, it probably would have matched that earlier dark chocolate she had earlier. Resting on the top of her head was a casual red cap, along with a pastel mint and forest green, plaid crop top and finally a pair of dark denim mini-jeans. She was keeping on a pair of white rimmed sunglasses over her eyes with a confident smile on her face. If anything, Blue was enjoying this weather to the fullest. While uhm.. Maybe she did one or two quick steals. Call it an old habit that slowly resurfaced throughout her time in Parallax.
What? Don't give her that look. It wasn't her fault that it's been years since she has done the petty pickpocketing. She draped her purse around her shoulder as her legs made casual and quick strides down the streets. Haa.. This was nice. It was only going to get even better with the mission she was assigned with, she nearly beamed as brightly as the sun she was hiding from under her hat. The woman eventually made it into the mall - probably just a tiny bit earlier than what she and her partner had agreed on. What? You thought that she was all alone? Hah! I mean, she could easily do it on her own. But, but this girl she was paired with was a pretty good friend of hers. No matter how harsh and how snarky she may come off as, it was never a dull moment.
She was excited. They were going to be charming their way into this nice little ball of a man who was suspected to be a double-agent. It was the perfect cover; and perhaps it was his cover by inviting a few of the higher ups. Of course, those higher ups declined politely, claiming that they were far too busy. A legitimate excuse, although they also didn't want to go risking the chance of them being attacked or whatever. Stupid paranoia, why would they go to this extent? Granted, she wasn't anyone to say otherwise. She was just hair-thick close to being exposed before, but was she able to slip right through that? Uh, yeah. Things were going pretty well.
Onto more pressing matters.. Instead of thinking of how to get their information, she was brainstorming potential outfits for the two of them. They'd have to dazzle the crowd -- Oh, no. But not too dazzling to the point it looked like they were trying too hard. Had to look like it was coordinated, but it didn't look far too overdone. Hmm.. What would go well? Ah, her mind was easily flooded by the ideas. Her mind was a library, and she was easily sweeping through the countless plans that easily filled her brain the it's rim. They needed to look innocent, but if they looked too innocent, then that would just be suspicious. Hmm.. Maybe something a bit more daring?
This was actually getting fun.
Her bright blue eyes shifted around and about as she was casually standing by the fountain that was so well placed in the heart of the mall. She grasped onto her phone as she whistled in a low tone. From there, she took a quick picture of the fountain behind her and sent it as an attachment to her partner in crime for today. A gijinka, a ghost. At first, she was flabbergasted at the oddity she found, but easily grew to adapt to find many others with pokemon features. Sometimes, she even found it absolutely adorable. She closed her phone and brought her gaze upwards to scan the environment around her. People walking here and there, let it be the occasional child wanting a toy to a group of teens looking to buy some things with their parents' money. Typical day.
Funny as it is, Blue only really had a few dresses that were clearly not fit for a formal ball. So what was she to do? go shopping of course. Soon enough, she caught the glimpse of pink in the crowd. Her hand raised upwards as it swayed from side to side in a lighthearted manner. "Selene! Over here!~" She chimed in a sickly sweet tone. Probably would have irritated the so called 'ghost', but that's the point. If it didn't, okay. If it did, even better right? [googlefont=Montserrat]
