life is full of little lies
and most of them are mine. there are things even my mind can't deny.
[attr="class","les"] T hey continued their way down the abandoned path of what used to be the 'Old Veherna'. It was nearly pitiful to see how a city such as this could have fallen so easily to the war that was happening literally right above themselves, but they digressed. Rather, the place itself was still pretty abandoned on it's own. Nothing but rubble, sticks and stone for this Zorua gijinka to be kicking dirt around, or to be kicking over in boredom with an uninterested glare. Their head perked up to watch over the wasteland that held it's fair share of remaining citizens; most of which have stooped so low as to turn to criminal activity. Granted, she was never one who was against doing all you could and clawing for survival but when you're trying to do this for the sake of doing this for fun, well, you're probably no better than the scum of the earth. You know, like Team Imum. [break][break] Frickin' Team Imum. [break][break] They gagged at the thought of the god forbidden name, nearly having to hold in that sudden nauseous feeling brewing in their gut. The Republic were a bunch of blind idiots who thought that they could save pokemon. Hah, what a rude. Wasn't that the exact same motive Imum had? The faction that claimed the freedom of pokemon made them nearly gag at such a stupid ideology; if they really saved pokemon then who would be saving them? Pokemon weren't all that nice of creatures, or maybe it was just from her experience. Heavily biased this one was, but they didn't join the Parallax because of their grudge towards those who glared down and cackled at their own misfortune. [break][break] Humans were no better, after all. They boasted in their greed and achievements are the expense of others. They were only lucky that someone found them in that locked up chamber in the depths of the old lab. Said lab had collapsed during the war, and only recently were they brought back to society by Parallax. Still, they saw what people did to artificially engineered gijinka - they were one of the first after all. In irritation, they kicked the dirt under the sole of their shoe to leave the dust hanging in the air behind their path. A pair of ruby red eyes glanced back and forth to take in their surroundings, with nothing but rubble and abandoned buildings as far as the eye could see. Ahh.. So many lives were taken from this war. How sad, how sad. Maybe they should help them? Why, yes. Maybe they really should help them. It's been a while, right? They deserved to wake up. [break][break] They deserved to see the world as it was. [break][break] Their blank face contorted into a smile as their small hand reached down to their belt. For all they cared, humans and pokemon, everything, could just die. One way or another.. And what better than to let the spirits run loose on the living? The best thing for them to do right now is to scout the area, and just see how many lost and wandering souls were mourning over a city lost. They would think that there would be quite a bit, although they really couldn't be too sure with them being a dark-type. They exhaled softly before tossing out the pokeball that housed a large, cyclops-like ghost pokemon. It towered over them, even more so seeing that the Dusknoir was levitating just inches from the ground. The braided female hopped onto the pokemon's back and clutched on like it was latching onto a piggy back. "Come on, Voices. You can sense the souls right?" They asked the pokemon, of which they received a positive response. Dusknoir were known to guide and take people and pokemon to the spirit world, and so it was rather adept at doing it's job. [break][break] Irene intended to exploit this pokemon's ability, but not without doing a quick little thing to conceal their identity. Their red-tipped tail swished behind them contently as their braided, brunette hair took more of a golden look, left down and flowing. This of course, was an illusion. Still, their tail and ears remained visible and alert as the duo scouted around. | [attr="class","goodness"] ✉ @someone ✉ @someone ✎ 705 words |
