It began, when you were young didn't it. You realized that you could feel your parent's emotions rather easily. If they were upset, you were upset. When they would calm and soothe you, you'd only be soothed if they calmed themselves down. They all simply assumed you were very sensitive to them all - and nobody thought anything different as you grew up. You worked hard to hide your anomaly. You were strange, a freak - you've seen how the other kids treated the village weirdo.

Your twin sister was your vanguard, wasn't she? She never knew you had a weird power, but knew you were quiet. And she protected you fiercely. You're still thankful to her for it, aren't you? Is that why you can't let her go? That was the dynamic of your childhood. Your parents didn't force you and your sister protected you. So when you'd start staring off into nothing, they just assumed you were thinking hard. But you knew different - you could see emotions now. You were starting to get scared of how good you were getting at this. Was it because you were loved? So you decided to test that out.

People never seemed to notice you. Where you had been bullied in your small village because of how odd you were, outside, nobody cared. So you travelled, under the radar. And yet, you found it unsettling that you were boring, didn't you? So you started acting out. Acting strange. Off-putting people, toying with them. But even that ran it's course, didn't it? Eventually you found everything tiring in the end. So you wandered aimlessly, having no destination or place in mind.

You don't remember. You just remember being there. Somehow, you got drafted in something or the other - you don't remember that either. Everything is so dead and unimportant, people are so faded. You got the position of Elite Four - the last one. The last barrier before the champion - you still don't know how exactly. But does it bother you? Not really. You get to do what you want as an Elite Four - and if that involved secluding yourself into whatever research catches your fancy, you do. Who is going to scold you? Most of them can't bring themselves to talk to you.
