TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

And it matters not how many times she can come to this area; because in the end, it's always the same. The same old view, the same old crater. The same old graves and the same told, lingering and nearly suffocating stench of both dirt and decomposing bodies.
The Kantonian Dex Holder plants her shoe into the dry soil below her, a hand resting against the side of her waist while a breeze passes by to gently blow at her brunette locks of hair. It was quiet today, too. There were few people wandering around in this area, nor were there people running around outside at this time to begin with. The children were called back home under the sheet of twilight. The adults were back in their houses, taking care of their money and whatnot back in Irisia. Though she didn't know how it was in the other two factions, she knew for a fact, that she didn't have to worry about anyone from Irisia finding her here. That being said, there were even less people around, only because it pained the hearts of many that happened to pass by. That being said, the trainer nearly narrows her eyes at the dimly lit crater before her.
It nearly broke her heart, seeing how many a lives had been lost in such a harsh war. Hell, not even Team Rocket was as harsh to wreak that much havoc unto the region itself. Sapphire blue eyes pensively stare out into the distance, reflecting over the wreckage of an area. Frankly; she found it depressing. Something that would act as the transport between cities, turned into a giant crater of the deceased in a moment of seconds. Let them be innocent or just as guilty of the terrorism, the woman couldn't help but to release a low sigh of near disappointment. Blue slowly shifts her back foot from her position, taking off with quiet footsteps as to approach the very edge of the crater. "It's no wonder why they named this 'World's End'--... Arceus. The heck did Imum do?" She asks herself. It was a rhetorical question; mainly because she's already done her fair amount of research on the internal affairs and brief history on the Region itself.
Which would explain her current alignment.
For the time being, however, Blue was more intent on conducting her own, personal research and survey on this area. It was a misfire, yes. But what she wanted to know was how Parallax could be putting this space to use. She would think something along the lines of.. An underground city of sorts, based off the large amount of deserted area. But at the same time, the thought nearly made her grimace. Surely, they wouldn't be as vain as to turn a memorial into something as materialistic and superficial as a tourist spot, right? Ah.. But by questioning herself, she was acknowledging the thought would dare stray through their minds. At this point, she possibly wouldn't put it past them.
Her initial intention was to be floating around on her Jigglypuff, just so that she could get an aerial view of the abandoned area. But with the work she's been subjecting herself to (boo), she'd hardly the energy to be calling them out. That, and she highly doubted that she'd be able to see anything at this time-- topped with the fact that she was too damned fatigued to jot much of anything down. It looks like she'll have to make do with resting and observing the views, here. For the time being, that is.
Blue slowly begins to lower herself down, gloved hands pressing into the ground as she seats herself on the edge of the crater. Her legs slowly dangle over the ledge, deep blue eyes gazing out into the horizon. Only the sounds of wind to accompany her. Oh hello silence my old friend-- But seriously. She didn't mind silence all too much, though admittedly she did miss the old gang. Speaking of which, she hadn't seen any of them inn quite a long time.
But seeing her position and condition right now? It was best she didn't.
WE WERE BORN WITH FIRE AND GOLD[break][break]Blue Mizu
The Indigo Champion decided to make his way towards the crater of World's End, you didn't need to be close to see the devastation that had happened around here, there was barely anyone nor any Pokémon for that matter around here. Red was currently travelling with Vee outside of her Poké Ball and perched upon his shoulders as they walked, fiery hazel eyes glanced around as he had heard from other members within the Association about what had happened, he honestly didn't want to admit it but he knew that even Team Rocket (even when and when not lead by Giovanni) would have even gone to such lengths. [break][break] A saddened sigh escaped the trainers lips as he grew closer and closer towards the edge of the crater, his eyes noticed a female within the distance sitting down, due to the distance he couldn't tell who it even was but he thought maybe she knew and could give information about what happened here that wasn't just Association sided. Just because he 'aligned' himself with the Association (something that he had to do due to being the Champion, but also because he honestly didn't agree with any of the three factions). Ideally Red just felt that Pokémon and Humans should just be treated equally but kept as how things were, it wasn't the Pokémon that caused such bad things, it were corrupt people who used them as tools which they wern't. [break][break] Red tilted his head towards Vee as if he was silently questioning her as to whether he should go talk to the girl, but Vee just responded with licking his cheek which made him smile somewhat and nodded. The brown haired male started to make his way towards the female as he was giving her a slight wave to catch her attention, but as he got closer the females features started to come more into focus.....But that was when he lowered his hand and started to slow down upon realising as to who it was that was sitting there, it was Blue, the Battler froze in place as now he honestly didn't want to get any closer nor have any interaction with her as he was avoiding all of the Dex Holders for the sole reason that he didn't want to come to terms with the fact that Poli was missing and he wasn't like his usual self at all. [break][break] Sadly, Vee had a completely other idea as she jumped off of his shoulders, climbed down him to be more precise and made her way over to Blue before rubbing herself against the female brunette and forced herself under the other's hand as if to make Blue pet her. Red however just remained exactly where he was, his gaze averting to the side, now trying to pretend that he didn't even know she was there.
But humans were going to be humans, so what left was there to do? She knows that no matter how much she wallows and grumbles, the land and the lives will not be taken back. If she's to be honest, she viewed all three factions to be wrong on their own accounts; The Parallax were being far too selfish for their own race. If it weren't for pokemon, the human race wouldn't have been able to advance as far as it has. That being said, they were being insensitive. Bluntly put, that is. In truth, Blue only joined said faction for the sake of sniffing out information; and more money means more access to resources - unfortunate as it was. As for the Association.. She hadn't a damn about the politics. There has never been a day go by where she actually cared enough to pay attention to the bickering of raging adults; and at some point, their lies had became dull upon her ears. "Everything's better off staying the way it is. Let the region build itself up--... Why can't Parallax and the Republic settle on the middle ground?" Her lips part, releasing a soft sigh as the soles of her shoes plant into the dirt. Now the Republic.. They were too radical; too extreme. Though she was aware of their initial, noble plan, their way of approaching it falls short of anarchy. She agrees that there needs to be some sort of human control to sustain a society, but the way they were handling it was ridiculous.
In short? They were all stupid.
But right now, she didn't have time to waste on their stupid ideals. Frankly, the only thing she could care about was how she was going to get in touch with the other Dex Holders after getting her fair share of information; and how to avoid them in the meantime - assuming that she could find them in Lyeant for whatever reason. Thankfully, she didn't think much on 'what ifs' and 'if whens' and the like; but again, it was never a particularly bad idea to be prepared. Not like it would be much different, anyways. That being said, the brunette casually raises a hand to dip her white cap downwards, the faint shadow covered deep, blue eyes as she continues to pensively stare at the centre of the pit before her. Blue quietly sighs to herself, shortly before stretching her arms out. Her chest rises as she takes in a deep sigh, only to release it with satisfaction. "Phew~" A smile curls on her lips, replacing the earlier distaste and faint irritation that plagued her face. There was no point in trying to wander in her thoughts; especially not about sentimental circumstances. It doesn't fit her, after all.
"Lets see here~..." The forming smile tugs at her lips even more, quick to transition into a smirk as she slowly lowers her arms to her sides. "What kind of weapon could do something like this? Hell.. Something of similar nature could probably blow up New Verherna if it had enough." That is, assuming it was human. It's not unheard of for a pokemon to be capable of this mass destruction, especially with what she's seen back in the day. But on the other hand, she also heard about that.. Bamboozle over in Kalos with the weapons and all. But there was no possible way that humans, as themselves, could cause this much of a mess. Had to be a pokemon; a group of pokemon, possibly. Either that or a large weapon - like quite a large missile? Mmn.. A bomb would work, too. Something of explosive nature. Yes folks, here you have Blue borderline nerding out as she tries to examine the crater in the dark.
And she's about to pick herself up to scout, only to feel something petite under her hands. "Mmn?" The trainer hums to herself, slowly beginning to narrow her eyes down at her hand. There, she catches a glint of the red gem, reflecting the light of the stars above. A pink, feline pokemon seemed to be purring as she nuzzled against her hand, and that much prompted a soft giggle. Her hand gently hooks around to cup the Espeon's chin in her palm, fingers gently scratching along the pokemon's chin and neck. Unfortunately for the both of them, Blue was so immersed in the pets that she was delayed in processing the information. "... Wait." She stares. Straight down at the Espeon that seemed to be having a blast. There was only one Espeon she knew of, that was this.. Affectionate. One that was this close to her, and said Espeon was owed by yet another, familiar Dex Holder she's been quite acquainted with. "Wait, Vee? Is that you?" Please say no. Please say no. Please say no.
And the Espeon nods.
Welp, there goes her plan to stay out of the way of the other Dex Holders.
But if Vee was here, Red had to be around here somewhere, too, no? Almost instinctively, her head perks up to look around the general area. True enough, she found another figure standing not too far away from the pink pokemon, trying to poorly act as though he doesn't see her. Now.. On a regular basis, as per the circumstances, she'd try to stay away like a damned plague. Buuut.. Hey, she's already been found out. Or.. At least, she's been found in Lyeant. It wouldn't kill to at least greet the guy. Her smirk broadens before pushing her hand into the ground, supporting her body as she leans back. The other hand, of course, is still petting Vee like she's the softest thing in the world. "Hey, don't you know how to greet an old pal?" Her voice casually rings out. Blue slowly lifts her hand from the pokemon's head, more to ball it up into a fist and make a stab motion towards her heart in a nearly dramatic, comical manner. "I'm hurt. I thought by now, I'd at least get a greeting from you~"
WE WERE BORN WITH FIRE AND GOLD[break][break]Blue Mizu
Red stood there for a few seconds as Blue spoke, but to him it felt like centuries was passing by, for once he felt nervous which honestly wasn't like the Kanto Champion -- His hazel eyes dropped to look at the Espeon before he picked up a Poké Ball and returned the psychic-type into the ball, he was honestly wanting to avoid the dex holders as he knew that if they saw him and the fact he was no longer speaking would raise questions....Questions he didn't want to answer. [break][break] But Blue was now the second Dex Holder that he had met now, it was funny on how he had only met the other Kanto Holders --- But they really were the main Dex's that he wanted to avoid the most since they all were close friends. When Blue spoke he just gave a meak smile towards her as a response instead of actually speaking to the brunet, but he simply moved to turn away as he wanted to get out of this situation as soon as possible....But with knowing Blue, that honestly wouldn't be the case so he let out a sigh before turning back to face her and he sat down beside here. [break][break] All while staying silent.
This was getting awkward. See, Blue was happy to see Red. By all means, she was actually pretty happy to see him. Even if she was avoiding the majority of dex holders, she very much did enjoy their company. Old friends of hers, the first friends who she didn't make when she was in a life or death situation (sorry Silver). But it's because they were all so close and have known each other for so long, that Red's silence prompted both curiosity and subtle concern alike. The brunette trainer hums to herself as she watches his actions. A nod, turning around and back to sit next to her, just over the cliff of the crater that Team Imum had created. There were more than enough things that was concerning Blue already; one of them being whatever rumours were circulating around Irisia. Another one would be trying to lay low for the sake of not being misunderstood by the other dex holders. Another would be trying to not be found out by Green, and another concern regarding Green. One that she's rather not discuss or address.
But then there's the concern of Red's uncharacteristic silence. Blue can only stare at him for a little bit, mulling over his simple and meek greeting. Though the flags were being raised under the lively exterior of a smile, she chooses to give Red the temporary benefit of doubt. Her hands instead dig into the ledge of the cliff, legs swinging back and forth in a childish manner. "... We can work on the greeting later, then. I guess~" The woman offers a reassuring smile, leaning forwards to enter the male's line of sight. It didn't sit well with her, how he was being so quiet. It didn't sit well with her, with how quiet he was being. Thankfully he was responding, so she wasn't worried about being ignored but.. Again. This was just completely out of character for him. For him not to be responding to her. Hell, the last time she saw him, he was as upbeat, lively and idealistic as he always was. She would dare say childish, but even she can't deny that he had grown a significant amount since their first meeting in Kanto.
To be fair, they all grew exponentially.
But someone doesn't just.. Go silent. And in less than a year, which was still buzzing at her in the back of her mind. Though she would like to give Red the benefit of doubt, Blue simply quirks her lip downwards as she shoots him a curious stare. "... Okay, this is really weird. You're.. Being really, really quiet." Thank you captain obvious. While it's not like her to be so confrontational, the concern in both her gaze and in her voice was evident. "... Is everything okay, Red? You're usually way more lively than.. This." She's trying to be careful with her words, but at the moment, she doesn't know how else she should communicate her message. Thankfully however, she backs off a bit after her initial question. "You don't have to answer if you really don't want to. I'm just.. A little concerned. If something's bothering you, I'm more than willing to listen, you know?" She's hoping for a response, but she doesn't even know if she'll get a peep from him.
The Kanto Champion watched Blue as she spoke, but when he noticed that she got irriated over the fact that he wasn't speak, he couldn't help but sink his neck into his shoulders slightly --- Part of this was the reason he wanted to avoid any of the Kanto and Johto dex holders, he knew this would be there exact reaction but his fiery brown eyes glanced down towards Vee who remained nuzzling against Blue's hand.
A rather soft and gentle yet a rather saddened sigh escaped Red's lips as he placed his own hand upon his Espeon's fur which he stroked rather gently, everyone knew that Red had a rather strong and deep connection with his Pokémon which most people assumed was the reason why he is such a good and strong 'Battler' and was given that title. Most of it was true but Red knew how to battle on instinct, even at that young age of 10 he had the instinct of a Pro Pokémon trainer, but right now his nerves was actually getting the better of him.
Instead of actually telling Blue, he just shifted a bit and moved to reveal that even though he had six pokéballs attached to his belt.....The dented one that contained Poli wasn't there, Red NEVER went anywhere without his most trusted and essentially his first Pokémon, a Pokémon who risked it's own life multiple times and even evolved to save Red was no longer with him on person. But now Red REALLY didn't want to come back to the terms that Poli might be dead --- He was much happier over the idea of him being missing and that they'll find each other sooner or later.
