From the time in which he was a child until the current day and age, Corvou's persona had taken several shifts and general changes over the course of time for varied reasons. When he was a child, he was known to be a rather loud,
rowdy, and rambunctious little child; often getting into arguments and fights with siblings and his friends in good humor, and alongside that, he was a rather snarky little child that showed no fear or hesitation in regards to challenging people if he felt that they were wrong, morally unjust, or perhaps even just excessively annoying in his point of view. Later on within life, certain events within his past occurred that caused him to become more of an antisocial and emotionally distant type of person; heavy with cynical natures, pessimism, and other things of the sort. A number of years after that phase of his life gradually trailed off, he began to inherit the personality that could be considered to the closest that he maintains within the current day; the facade of a mature,
polite, and approachable businessman that still knows how to be formal within select scenarios for sake of setting good impressions- particularly in the face of his own business partners and whatnot. However, with recent events that have occurred no more than a year or two within the past, his personality as of late has taken one more change,
even if it's a little bit more subtle this time around.[break][break]
All in all, Corvou is a man of extreme keenness and observation. While most around him within the modern day and age may or may not care much for noticing the finer details, these same, smaller, and finer details are more or less what he notices the most within everyday life; be in from small fidgets in response to an undesired occurrence, to the vaguest smiles acquired at occurrences that were subtly appreciated. His abilities of perception are second to none,
which makes him the type of man that one often wouldn't want to go up against. Not only is he capable of reading varied forms of language - be it through tone, body, or other things, as well - he is also rather proficient in easily reading past the facades that others may exhibit upon the surface to catch a glimpse of who one truly is beneath all of the lies and claims that he or she may speak and act upon on a daily basis. Alongside this, he is also rather keen upon catching the flaws and lies that other speak before him, and often has no qualms with calling a person out based on whatever faulty decisions or claims that they may have made in his presence. Should a person fight against his call outs in the event that they're in the wrong, then he'd still have no trouble with further pushing them to the point where he exposes them enough to make them stop and back down themselves, so it should be kept in mind not to test him.[break][break]
The aforementioned qualities are most often exhibited with an air of formality, commonly within the business scenario, or other situations and events that require a clear and righteous etiquette, and alongside that, he tends to be a somewhat serious individual nowadays, as well. These first few qualities are why most people - including some of his newer employees and coworkers - tend to be rather intimidated soon after meeting him. As a result of several,
more recent events that have occurred within the past year, he has reverted vaguely towards his more cynical and generally straightforward attitude; something that enables him the ability to easily stand his ground without wavering, though at the same time, it does imbue a sense of discomfort and intimidation within newer acquaintances more times than not. On the outside, he exhibits an aura and general air of power and business all the same; seemingly intent on getting his thoughts across and expressed in scenarios in which such behavior is needed. He holds a smaller threshold for error and joking around nowadays, and if he feels that someone else isn't quite displaying the appropriate level of tact needed within the more pressing situations, then again- he'll openly call you out to put you back in line if he doesn't know you or how you work for the most part.[break][break]
Just because he's often serious and uptight nowadays, however, doesn't necessarily mean that he's a ruthless and generally uncaring man. If anything, it's more of the exact opposite. In the present day, Corvou is much more guarded for his own benefit and protection as a result of losing another loved one, and also for sake of safeguarding his own emotions from any possible pain once more. This here is the main reason why he tends to be rather cynical and skeptical towards people that he has just met. In the case of his closer friends, however, it would be clear that his care and compassion truthfully shows no bounds. Although it's hard to attain is true trust in its full capacity,
when it's achieved, one would figure out that they have a loyal companion either until death, or until they give him a reason not to trust him anymore. Whatever specks of seriousness would be vaguely replaced by a more casual and joking nature; laced with sarcasm and joking banter at his own expense. When around those that he cares for, all bounds are broken. The professionalism is gone for the most part, and in place of the common, intimidating CEO of the Raijin Industries would instead be a man who's more or less of a dork who really just wants to joke around and have fun. His humor is dark, but at the same time, he maintains his own class whenever he wants to. ...But in the event that he doesn't care for being classy, then he'll have little to no qualms with making a fool of himself, so it wouldn't be uncommon to see him busting out a few puns here and there, or even making aggressively obnoxious and ridiculous gestures if it meant making his friends and loved ones laugh.[break][break]
When his trust is broken, however, you have as intense of an enemy as you did a friend throughout the time that he would have considered calling you as such. With Corvou, having his undivided and pure trust is more or less the equivalent of him telling you that he loves you in either the platonic or romantic manner, depending on how he sees you; and in the event of the former, it would obviously mean that he considered you among his closest and beloved friends. Should a person of that general stature break his trust for whatever reason, then he'll likely procure somewhat of a one-eighty turn as far as persona and behavior towards them goes. Where there would have been jokes would instead be straightforward claims and insults without remorse based on what he knows about you for sake of attempting to purposely hurt you. Where there would be smiles would instead be scowls and glares of passive aggressiveness, and where there would have been simple, lighthearted greetings would instead be a single word of acknowledgment before he continued on with his own life without another word more. The moment you break his trust,
you normally become nothing more than a distant stranger in his eyes; someone that he wants nothing to do with ever again if he can help it. This is mostly due to the fact that, within his thirty-one years of life, he's lost so much more than he'd bother to, and when he finally opened himself enough to allow his trust to be given to others, there had been one in particular that shattered it. Both out of fear and indignant streaks, this is why he has chosen to keep only to himself and the closest friends that he has to this day; not quite caring to let anyone too close for the most part anymore, and also making him uninterested within romance for the moment.[break][break]
So, he's lost a lot. He's lost his love, and only has his children to remind him of what was, as well as what could have been. On top of that, he lost three years of his life, as well as the near entirety of his family within the blink of an eye when he was only about seven years of age. That same event that took his family away was truthfully what spurred his mentality to waver internally more than anything, and the truth of the matter is that Corvou isn't quite the most emotionally and mentally stable person around- even if that's exactly what it seems like on the surface. In addition to being able to easily perceive the true nature of others, it's easy for Corvou to hide his own in order to keep it to himself- and one of the major things that he keeps hidden is his mental stature, as well as an ongoing degree of depression and malevolence that formed early on when he was about ten years old. Trauma hasn't been kind to his soul; nor has the loneliness that he had experienced throughout his younger years. It's caused him to overthink various matters, and as a result of that overthinking, he had snapped and lashed out on his own every so often. As time went on, he managed to keep himself under control; even going so far as to work with a therapist for a short period of time when he was a teenager for sake of keeping himself in check. However, he tends to lean towards bottling his emotions nowadays; something that tends to be rather dangerous when mixed in with his temper, so yet again, it would be wisest not to purposely set him off or do anything to make him feel any sort of indignant feeling towards you.

Like most other Gijinka, Corvou maintains both the attributes and some minor capabilities that the Pokemon that he himself reflects - the Haxorus in particular - would be capable of for the most part. While he may not have the same,
dangerous, and destructive tusks that the Haxorus is known for, this six foot eleven Gijinka does maintain the Haxorus's tail, as well as its talons and scales across some portions of his form. His outwardly offense capabilities aren't quite influenced by his Haxorus genetics, though to make up for it, they seem to amplify his general stature, as well as his defensive mannerisms when they count the most; primarily when taking his armor like scales into account, as well as his natural gaze.[break][break]
By far, Corvou maintains two particulars abilities that he uses and leverages rather commonly; the first one being the specific ability that he tends to amplify within combat oriented scenarios, or scenarios that are simply more risky and make him prone to injuries and pain in general. As was stated prior, he has several portions of scales that act as a sort of armoring across his body; ones that aren't quite as golden as the standard Haxorus. Rather, they take a rather dull, darker grey hue- but regardless of their colorings, they tend to give him a little bit of extra leeway as far as pain absorption and defense go. These scales of his are hard to the touch, and unless they were struck hard enough, he likely wouldn't feel too much pain within the areas of collision. They primarily reside within small areas upon his face, the sides of his neck, as well as his joints; namely the shoulders, elbows, and knees. They are also seen within smaller amounts across the back of his hands and forearms, as well as smaller portions of his calves and thighs alike. If shot within the thicker portions of the scales, they may also be capable of catching and deflecting bullets- but if that's the case, then those scales would be permanently damaged and weakened.[break][break]
Branching off of Haxorus's common rivalry ability, as well, Corvou tends to give off an air of competition and intimidation at will whenever he chooses to amplify such a thing. One would be able to tell whether or not it's in effect by the manner in which he glares at someone, as well as the effects and feelings that they receive as a result of said glare. Naturally, most people would feel rather challenged when they fall victim to this specific glare of his, though there have been some people who have stated that they've even felt a sense of fear or discomfort as a result of that very same gaze. In contrast to his scale armoring - which is passive - he can activate and control this ability of his at will depending on how much he focuses throughout its usage. He is capable of emphasizing its intensity, though past a certain point, it's more at his expense. Should he use it for a prolonged amount of time that pushes past his limits, then he may begin to suffer from minor headaches to temporary migraines with the more stress that he puts himself through.[break][break]
His last ability is somewhat of an amplifier, as well as a trade off for the fact that he doesn't have the Haxorus's signature tusks. While he has no miniature axes that he can cut steel with, he definitely does pack a nasty punch naturally- and with this ability, he's capable of amplifying said punch as it is to induce much more painful results.
It isn't like he can turn a limb into a blade to slice through things, obviously- but instead, he maintains the ability to augment his muscles within a select limb (or limbs) by 'charging' it, in a way, and punching forward with an even more frightening degree of strength. At its maximum degree of strength, this amplifier could sometimes make him capable of piercing and punching a hole through a sheet of steel depending on how hard he focuses, as well as how long he charges his strike. The more that he he uses and charges his strikes, however, the more his energy and stamina would be drained. He can use it in concession, but that would likely result in intense fatigue immediately after usage ceases, which would then be followed by lingering muscular pains for the next several days on top
of physical weariness in general. He's capable of using a single strike and resting for a decent amount of time before striking out once more a while afterwards, but even then, singular strikes still drain his energy for a good degree, as well.[break][break]

Light the night up; you're my dark star
- Tatsuhiko Ryusaki was born as one of the youngest children to a family totaled to about eight people within his direct family. Being primarily of Japanese blood - but also retaining a fair degree of both French and Italian blood within his being, as well - he was born to a man of primarily Japanese descent by the name of Akihiko Ryusaki, as well as a woman of primarily Italian and French descents by the name of Serena Ryusaki, who had formerly been Serena Leblanc. Including himself, there were a total of six children within his family; his eldest brother, Kazuki, and his eldest sister Yukiko. After them, there were his next two sisters by the names of Ryoko and Yumi, and his remaining sibling was his twin sister, Kiyomi. Although they all preferred to go by their Japanese names, they were given English names for sake of bringing ease to those around them. Going down the line within the order that his father and siblings had been introduced - and excluding his mother, due to her lacking in Japanese blood - their alternative names were respectively Dracul, Samael, Valencia, Sophia, Edith, and Iris- and as could be guessed, Tatsuhiko’s own, alternative name is the one that he commonly goes by to this day: Corvou Dracul. Truth be told, he prefers to be referred to by his Japanese name, but few people know of it within the modern day.
- Corvou’s city and region of birth had been Goldenrod City, Johto. He was born on November seventh approximately thirty-one years within the past, and had been born a couple of minutes after his twin sister, Kiyomi- or, as was mentioned within the prior bullet point, Iris. Due to this, he himself had - in all technicality - been the youngest child within the Ryusaki family at the time.
- Corvou’s parents had met through their own careers. The two of them had been company owners of their own, respective corporations, and due to the fact that there was somewhat of a language barrier, Akihiko had taken it upon himself to introduce himself to Serena while conversing with her and leading her around to get her to the areas that she needed to be since she wasn’t from Johto. From there, they continued contact through business oriented purposes, but a bond had been quick to be forged in itself- and that eventually lead to their marriage through the years, as well as the birth of their aforementioned children.
...But now you're falling away
breakdown of early childhood[break][break]
- As a child, Corvou himself was somewhat of a rebellious and rambunctious little guy. He was always full of energy; often asking questions and running his mouth with jokes and teasing gestures and words alike- but he, just like he is know, is still a good person when it comes down to the main point. He was a free willed and free spirited person; never really letting anything get him down. In addition, he was also extremely spoiled and whatnot due to his family’s financial class, but he was stopped from becoming a more stereotypical version of the average rich person due to the discipline and raising methods that his parents used on him. As a result, he was overly snarky as a child, but at the same time, he knew what boundaries were, as well as what most people would consider to be morally just- and he wasn’t afraid to fight for those same things if he thought that they were right.
- For the most part, he was allowed to do what he wanted as far as after school activities and other hobbies went. As a result, he became extremely invested within multiple forms of martial arts - with his favored one being taekwondo - and also became extremely dedicated to and invested in dancing from a very young age, as well. While versatile enough to learn different choreography styles with enough practice, his genre preferences lie within hip hop and contemporary dance alike. He also took advantage of his own voice, and, due to his love for music, ended up taking vocal lessons throughout his early childhood.
- In addition to keeping up with his own academics - which were more oriented around private school settings at the time - Corvou and the rest of his siblings also kept up with private tutoring throughout several days of the week. Due to this, he became rather well read and knowledgeable within his youth; something that still continues to influence him to this day.
But I found in you what was lost in me
- Around the time that Corvou was seven years old, he and his family planned to go on a multi-day trip across the regions as a sort of celebration for his two eldest siblings after they graduated from college. Their first stop was from Johto to Kanto, so they headed for the airport and waited as was necessary for their flight to be prepared and boarded.
- While waiting, Corvou was playing around and talking with Samael and Valencia. Like the others, he congratulated his siblings, and in appreciation of the praise, the two of them decided to each buy their family members some sort little souvenir to commend and remember the beginning of their trip by. After visiting a gift shop in the airport, Corvou himself obtained two things from the both of them: a cobalt hued scarf from Samael, and a necklace with three locket pendants on it. He’s kept these two things to this day.
In a world so cold and empty
- All in all, the plane left on schedule, but not too long after the flight departure, the engines malfunctioned, and this resulted in a plane crash. The majority of the passengers on board - including the majority of his family - had died in the crash themselves. The few that managed to survive were brought to the nearest hospital as soon as possible.
- Corvou and Iris were each among the few survivors, but the two of them were both in horrid conditions after the crash; Corvou more so than his twin sister. While Iris did suffer several wounds that still affect her to this day, Corvou was wounded enough to the point where he was in a comatose state for about three years after the crash itself. Having been awake for much longer than he was at the time, Iris was treated before being put into an orphanage, where she was soon adopted by another family. It’s due to this that she and Corvou would be separated for the next several years following her adoption.
- As a result, Corvou himself was left alone when he finally woke back up at age ten. The doctors finally informed him about his condition, what had happened to his family, and what happened to his sister. Like Iris herself, Corvou was treated before being sent to an orphanage. He stayed for a little while longer, but rather than being adopted by another couple, he was visited by several other and closer friends of his parents; namely the co-presidents of the company that they ran. For sake of giving him a home to live under with somewhat known and trusted individuals that he’d already known beforehand, they adopted him and allowed him to live with them for the time being; all while ensuring that the things that his parents left for him in their wills were untrusted to him, much like they had been on Iris’s part soon after she was adopted.
I could lie awake just to watch you breathe
- For sake of coping and physical treatments and therapy alike, Corvou continued on with his childhood hobbies- though in addition to doing it as his own form of fun, he also began to delve deeper within these activities as a means of taking his mind off of the loss of his family in general. His prior, obnoxiously rebellious nature had been drastically mellowed out to the point where he shut himself in and rarely talked with others; only interacting as was necessary, and even growing a little bit socially inept as a result. It was around this time that he focused more on martial arts and dance alike in order to vent out his internal stress and sorrow, though never quite accepted the offers from his adoptive family and friends alike to vent out to them.
- The only times that he talked with others about his past and his feelings - even if it was in a somewhat shorter and to-the-point manner - was through the therapy sessions that he had with his therapist. Although he was rather against it at first, his adoptive parents convinced him to attend weekly therapy sessions for sake of bettering his mental stature. Although he has a seemingly better grasp of his mind within the current day and age, these therapy sessions truthfully didn’t aid him all too much.
- These shut-in behaviors continued on for an extensive while; something that concerned his adoptive parents, though something that still continued on nonetheless. Rather than going out of his way to venture out like he used to with his siblings as a child, Corvou really only bothered to attend school as a was necessary, as well as to go out for sake of his hobbies. Aside from that, he always preferred to stay at home; minding his own time through dancing or martial arts, and dedicating much of his time to studying material related to school, as well as the constant tutoring sessions that he continued for sake of catching him up with the material that he missed during his comatose. This was partially due to his lack of motivation to do much else, and partially due to his discomfort whenever someone within his grade asked him about his age- because, for the most part, he was always a few years older than everyone else because of the crash. Inquiries about age often transitioned into inquiries about his past, and that in itself was something that he always preferred not to discuss- so he simply separated himself from other students up until the end of middle school at around age sixteen or so.
In the dead of night, you went dark on me
kiyomi contacting him again (phone calls)[break][break]
- Around the beginning of his freshman year in high school, he began to grow a bit more outgoing again after his twin sister managed to dig around and contact him through his adoptive parents’ phone numbers. She called them up and asked to talk to Corvou- and it was from then on that the two began to rapidly catch up and grow closer; making up for the lost time together through near constant and daily phone calls and texting sessions with one another. At first, they couldn’t quite see one another face to face due to conflicting schedules in between school and other activities, but they did discuss their lifestyles, as well as where they each resided. Corvou found out that Iris had moved to Lyeant after being adopted, and from then on, they made constant discussions and plans to eventually visit one another when they could.
- It became somewhat of a tradition for Corvou to venture to Lyeant - or for Iris to venture over to Johto - over their breaks whenever they could. Much like how they had done over the phone, they talked and interacted constantly throughout these meetings- and it was around this time that Corvou himself gradually began to develop more and more from his previously antisocial nature. He inherited a subtle degree of his early childhood persona once more - especially when he was around his sister - but it became to be a little bit more refined due to his older stature, as well as the different perspectives of life that he took upon himself after the multiple years of silent thinking and time away from other members of society that he had himself go through.
- He learned about Iris’s own hobbies and the like; learning about how she herself wanted to try and carry on their parents’ legacies through the company that they started- and even attempted to broaden her interests in business and technology alike in order to do so with the intent of contacting the company presidents at the time - so, in other words, Corvou’s own, adoptive parents - to try and talk matters in relation to the company ranks out. She soon found out that business in itself wasn’t exactly within her likings, so she ended up pursuing a job in the culinary arts instead, and went on to open her own restaurant in Lyeant. As somewhat of a lighthearted yet hopeful joke, she tossed the idea of picking up where she left off over to Corvou- but after some thought, he decided to take it significantly more seriously than she thought he would. From then on, Corvou had some form of motivation and goals to work towards once more; more so to the point where his studies exceled greatly in between the involvements that he began to make within the school’s student council, leadership programs, and the football team all the same. When he wasn’t participating in his school oriented activities, he was often studying business on his own and asking his adoptive parents about it, as well, and even began to sit in on the various meetings that they held in order to learn more. Every so often, he even offered suggestions and the like; something that caught them and their employees off guard, though also something that quickly showed his seemingly natural business for business and trade oriented conversations and mindsets.
You're the cause; the antidote
education and becoming the heir of the raijin industries[break][break]
- A little bit over a year later - and during his sophomore year in high school at age seventeen - Corvou managed to strike a deal with his adoptive parents in regards to the company leadership. He asked them if it was fine for him to eventually take over for sake of continuing on with the legacy that his parents left behind - as well as to follow through with Iris’s wishes - and although it was something that he wasn’t quite thinking too much on as far as acceptances went, he found that they were more or less willing to consider it at the time due to the skill and suggestions that he managed to contribute to the meetings and company interactions despite not being an official employee at the time. They agreed to place him under heir status in the event that he dedicated himself to his studies to both the general academics and business alike, and would eventually step down and back to their former, co-president rankings in order to allow him to take over when and if he finished and graduated from college years in the future.
- For sake of making the most of his time and effort, his motivation grew in order to achieve this newfound goal of his. He indulged deeper within his studies; working harder than he did before, though all while keeping up with his extracurriculars and making more or less important decisions and suggestions to the student council and leaderships programs while in school, as well. By the end of his sophomore year in high school, his extremely studious natures managed to allow him to progress a little bit further than others within his grade. Rather than beginning his junior year of high school at age eighteen, he began his senior year, and went on to graduate at age nineteen.
- Immediately afterwards, Corvou ended up moving over to Saffron City, Kanto, alongside his adoptive parents for sake of attending the preferred college among the ones that accepted him, as well as to learn more while also aiding them in opening a new branch of Raijin Industries in the same, aforementioned city itself.
The sinking ship that I could not let go
- Corvou continued on with his schooling with an intensely and continuously studious nature and manner to his methods; joining the college football team as a transition from his involvement within his high school’s team, yet also keeping a constant eye upon his academics, as well. Having been intent on earning a master’s degree within both business and computer engineering alike, he took it upon himself to take both subjects up as a double major. During his second year into studying both of these things at age twenty-one, he became acquainted with one of the newer freshmen at the time; a younger woman by the name of Ishini Mazuka. Their first interactions were somewhat rough around the edges - likely due to his lenient and softly teasing demeanor at the time - but they managed to grow closer as time went on.
- While still keeping up with his studies, he began to spend more and more time with Ishini. Despite their differing schedules between their similarly different majors, he still found the time and effort to want to talk with her every so often. For the most part, he was the one attempting to urge her to hang out with him (since she was more or less volatile towards him, yet decreasingly so with the more they got to know one another), but in the end, he managed to convince her to spend more time with him fairly often. After some time went on, the two eventually became a couple- and even while he still devoted copious amounts of times to his studies, Corvou made sure to set time aside specifically to spent time with her.
Who led my way and disappeared
- Two years later after meeting Ishini at age twenty-three, Corvou took a short leave from school over the course of a week in order to travel with his parents for sake of another, business oriented venture. He and his family traveled to Opelucid City, Unova, for sake of meeting up with a couple of potential business partners, and once those meetings were done, they spent their remainder of their time in the city wandering around and sightseeing for the most part.
- One day towards the end of his trip in the city, Corvou was walking around the streets; eventually finding a younger boy. He was alone, looking to be on edge, and seemed to have multiple blood stains on his skin and hands; something that concerned him, but prompted him to try and approach him to begin with. Although the child was initially scared, he managed to soothe him enough to allow him to let him come closer, and it was around that time that the two began to converse. He discovered that the child’s name was Tatsuya, and that his father had been killed by a mugger a small while beforehand; leaving him on his own while generally scared. After a little bit more talking, he managed to convince Tatsuya to come back with him; buying him a new set of clothes and helping him clean himself up before gradually nursing him back to health. He told his parents about the situation, and after contacting Ishini on the matter, came up to the decision and intent to take the boy home with him for sake of giving him a home and adopting him. It took a little bit of convincing on Corvou’s part, but in the end, he managed to persuade Tatsuya to come along after their trip in Opelucid City was over with. They straightened the situation out a little bit more, and after arranging several documents, Tatsuya was officially adopted into the family.
- Despite the new occurrences within his life, Corvou continued on with his academics as he did prior to the Opelucid City trip; spending his time studying, playing football, and spending time with both Ishini and Tatsuya by then. Although it took him a fair amount of time to finally get Tatsuya to open up to him, he managed to make it happen. By the time he graduated with his master’s degrees and officially took over Raijin Industries himself at age twenty-five, he’d managed to form a tight bond with both Ishini and Tatsuya alike; treating both with an intense amount of love and care, and treating the latter as if he was his own, biological son all the same.
How could you just walk away and leave me here?
left at the altar[break][break]
- The years progressed onwards following his inheritance of CEO status of his birth parents’ company. Through that time, he had been quick to establish his presence and skill within the hierarchy through both his demeanor and contributions alike, and at the same time, he managed to continue balancing his work life with his loved ones at home. At age twenty-nine, he and Ishini had a baby boy together - a Poochyena gijinka by the name of Ryusei - and he ended up finally proposing to her not too long afterwards. For the most part, he was the happiest he’d ever been, and the date for the actual wedding itself had been set for and earlier time within the following year.
- Eventually, the day came around- but when it was time for the vows to be spoken and solidified, Corvou found himself left at the altar with nothing along the lines of a hint or explanation beforehand at age thirty. The development and occasion in itself hit him extremely hard, with both his trust and a fair degree of his pride being shattered and lost in the process. With the wedding turning up as somewhat of a failure, Corvou struggled to pick the pieces up on his own, though continued to focus upon both his work and his children, as Ishini had left without either one of them- though for the most part, the reasoning for doing so that time around was more or less as a coping mechanism to try and distract himself from what had happened.
Light the night up; you're my dark star
beginning his new jobs; recluse part two[break][break]
- Following the failed wedding ceremony, Corvou more or less fell into another, yet shorter depression. While it hadn’t lasted as long as the one that he suffered from after awakening from his coma, it still hit him rather hard. During that time, he ended up spending a little bit more time at bars and the like; conversing with more corrupt and shadier people. By no means did he engage within drug exchanges or any other activities of the sort, but he did admittedly end up getting to know several people who worked along the lines of assassinations and other things of the sort. While he didn’t quite interact with them directly in the beginning, it was through them that he found out about a vigilante group that was being run- and by one of his own acquaintances, nonetheless.
- For sake of confirming the rumors that he heard, he went ahead and approached the aforementioned person that he knew: a cousin of one of his business partners, and a man by the name of Ryan Arcken. Having been in contact for several years by then, he had grown to be good friends with him by then, and soon after being asked about the group and whatnot, Ryan pondered for a little while before giving in and telling him about the group, what they did, and the code that they performed under- though only after taking note of the fact that Corvou himself was somewhat interested. While he was a bit skeptical of starting at first, Corvou allowed the people that he conversed with during his slump to influence him to a minor degree; enough to get him curious and somewhat interested in the business, especially with how he was more or less capable of taking down targets himself. So, he discovered more about the group that Ryan ran - the Whispers of the Chosen - and after another period of thinking, he contacting Ryan again with the request of joining their causes. After a confirmation of his own to make sure that Corvou absolutely wanted to do what he was asking, he was also inducted into the Whispers himself. To this day, he still takes part in the occasional assassination here and there- but as per his own, personal code, as well as the code of the Whispers themselves, he refrains from taking hits without any substantial and extreme reason motivating the hit itself.
...And now you're falling away
the present day is here[break][break]
- Soon after finding a place within the Whispers themselves, he discussed matters with his business partners - which happened to include Ryan’s cousin, Tae Seung - and eventually decided to open yet another branch of the company within Lyeant. After preparing for the move, he and his business partners relocated over to Lyeant for sake of continuing on with their own business connections, as well as staking their own places within the region in general, and things have been as such for the past year or so.

All in all, Corvou's a generally nice guy when it comes down to it in most circumstances. Despite his inner stances in regards to making closer friends nowadays (aside from the closer friends that he has now, at least), he's more or less welcoming towards most that approach him, or whom he approaches- given that the person or people in question has or have a respectable demeanor themselves. Like you may have caught in his personality section (or may not have by sole virtue of it being a block of text //shot), he's stern nowadays, but that won't stop him from having a good time in more casual scenarios. While he's definitely capable ofjudo throwing someone out a window defending himself and others if need be, he'd prefer to be more or a lover than a fighter, per say. He's pacifistic to an extent; preferring to use words (sometimes sharp ones, if his patience is somehow worn down enough) to end conflict if possible before ruling out peaceful approaches and turning to something more up close and personal. Oh. And he's also a businessman with a loving heart, too. Has two kids; one of which is an adopted son at fourteen years of age, and another that's his own, biological son no more than a year or two old. Loves 'em to Hell and back, and also loves interacting with other kids, too. Really fatherly. Good stuff, good stuff.

Truth be told, it's easy enough to become a (surface) friend in Cor's eyes as it is to earn his distaste. Being the type of person who finds it easy to see through various facades with little time at all, he tends to be a good judge of character- but it's this very thing that draws him towards the people that are more or less morally just and the like. So...that being said? Good morals are a plus with him. Good excuses for bad intentions are, too, actually. Good conduct and good amounts of respect are also things that he tends to take a shine to in others- but unless the situation calls for it, uptightness and other things of the sort aren't. Again; Corvou loves to be a bit freer with his thoughts and opinions when he isn't on the job. Joking banter is one of his favorite past times- and if he happens to come across the type of person who can't take a joke? Well...let's just say that it'll be obvious that he'll develop a disliking towards them pretty quickly.
Now, on the flip side of his kindness and laid back nature... Cor's got a really bad tendency to hold grudges and the like, and to even be judgmental towards others if he sees enough bad behavior in a short time, so it's easy to have a grudge held against you from him if you push the right buttons. Doesn't really do so unless he's especially ticked, but it still happens. Are you the type to discriminate for no reason? What about a stereotypical deadbeat? Someone who's unfaithful? Yeah...if you give any hints of any of that within his vicinity and he notices it, he'll probably eye you a bit before calling you out. He may be wrong on his claims, and may actually be calling out someone who's innocent in the grand scheme of things (and will definitely apologize in the event of that), but he still won't be afraid to expose you if he catches you doing something you're not supposed to be doing; regardless of whether or not he's known you for a while, or if you're nothing more than a stranger to him.
Okay, so I'm, like...ninety-nine percent sure that Corvou's ship is already set, but even then, I'm down for plotting as far as these kinds of things go. Albeit, they'd probably tie into the friendships at some point, but hey- what happens happens~. ...And honestly? That's really all I gotta say for the intro to this part~. Possible ideas for this section can be found riiiight below, so without further ado, lessgo~!
Okay, so the one main thing (aside from more friends, I guess //shot) that I need for Corvou as of now? I NEED HIS SISTER. SISTER DEAREST. Twin sister, specifically; and born a few minutes before he was, so...she kinda uses what little time there was between them to establish her jurisdiction as the elder sister in a joking and good mannered way. As far as occupation and other things go, I don't exactly mind what she's like, or what she does. The main things to keep note of as far as his sister are that: (1) she's generally a somewhat outgoing and carefree type of person, (2) she's more or less really protective over Corvou when it really counts, and they're really close because of that, and (3) she's probably a Haxorus gijinka like him, too, 'cause of the twin thing they got going on. Tends to be a dork around him, so that more or less gives way to how close they are, too. Aside from that? Everything else is up to you~. Does she have a bit of bitterness towards his former bride-to-be? Does she know about his assassination involvement? If so, is she cool with that, or nah? Yeah, all of that's really up to you, so if you're down for all that, just - again - hit me up, and we can discuss more later on~!

PLOT IDEA #1
Business partners are likely an easy connection to him, seeing as though he's the CEO of his own company. He holds a multi-partnership with several good friends of his in the technological industry; focusing primarily upon communication-esque technologies, while his partners focus on things such as gaming consoles, animation, and many other things of the sort, as well. That being said, coming into contact with him both through meetings and out of the meeting space would likely be an easy way to befriend him- considering you've got a laid back enough personality, that is.[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2
Something that may be surprising to him is that dancing is actually a favorite past time of his, and is something he's kept up with since long within the past. Like...really. C'mon. You've got a buff man standing at a freakishly tall height of six foot ten. Definitely the type to be willing to punt you out a window if you ticked him off enough, but...at the same time, he's got a taste for music and happy feet to fit it? And while he may be into hip-hop for the most part, he's always been into contemporary music? Yeah...something you wouldn't expect, but hey- it's a thing. If dancing isn't your forte, though, then he's maintained a habit of performing at cafes and the like during his free time, too. After all; who doesn't like a bit of tasteful karaoke when you're enjoying a bite or two? So, gather 'round, all ye cafe dwellers. Pull up a chair and listen to some tunes if you're willing to; maybe even chat him up when he's stepping off the stage~.

Assassin rivalries, maybe? Something along those lines? I dunno, man. But either way, I'd definitely be down for some sort of bad blood between him and other people as far as his assassination business goes. He does a good job of keeping his surface identity separate from his unlawful one, so if someone had a grudge against him as far as the assassination world went, they'd probably have some beef to settle with 'Seiryuu' (his alias) over Corvou; the masked and disguised person that surfaces whenever the baddies gotta be assassinated. Either way, what I'm thinking here is that there's a potential, ongoing game of cat and mouse. Albeit, they'd probably tie into the friendships at some point, but hey- what happens happens~. ...And honestly? That's really all I gotta say for the intro to this part~. Possible ideas for this section can be found riiiight below, so without further ado, lessgo~!
PLOT IDEA #1
He only did it once or twice for sake of emotional coping, but he did had a couple of one night stands after being left at the altar. He stopped not too long after starting since he managed to pull himself together, but depending on how things went, he may have been kept in contact with one or two people if they genuinely were the types of people he wouldn't have minded being friends with in the long run. Aaaand since he's bisexual, gender's really no issue here. Person could've been female. Could've been male. Whatever~. There'd probably only be three people max for this, but things are flexible here, so just hit me up if you got ideas for this~![break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2
And alongside that, maybe something akin to a one-sided love could also be possible? Maybe? Potentially? I dunno. I mean, someone could always have some sorta interest in him after seeing the good in him? After all, despite how distant he may come off as at first, he still tries to be a stand up guy. Anyone would be able to see how he tries his best to be a good person, as well as how good of a father he is if they ever saw him interacting with his children wherever. Just those kinds of things that perk interest, y'know? Albeit; the chances of him showing romantic interest are likely slim if nonexistent altogether, but I'd still be down for something like this, or even some other idea you manage to whip up. More ideas? Scenarios? Whatever? Again- feel free to just hit me up about it~!

>>> WANTED
