While Veronica's childhood wasn't necessarily "exciting", there was nothing that made it particularly interesting (even if she had a certain way with technology), it was filled with the love and support of her parents. Throughout anything that she wanted to try and do, her parents were right behind her offering words of encouragement. Never once did they raise their voices at her as there really wasn't any need to. She went through school, passing all her classes, and even stayed quite social with other kids her age...as long as they could handle her messing with their technology and trying to make it better than how they had bought it. There were even a few boys in Alola that she dated as she went through high school.

However, college is where things started to change. Sure she loved the islands and everything that occupied them, but there was only so much that she could do. She had experienced everything that the region had to offer in the 18 years that she lived there. And the colleges they had didn't really have anything that she was particularly interested in. She needed an out. That out would come in the form of a guy from another region that was looking for employees in other regions. He would help pave the way for her move into Lyeant.

Luckily for her, the mans company worked for the faction that she would have chosen. Living in such a place as Alola, it was important to her that Pokémon got their freedom. Growing up she'd seen how they acted compared to being free and compared to living in reserves. The difference was astounding and that was something that she fully supported. She started small in the guys company. First becoming employed as his secretary as she went through college. Little-by-little she'd start to push through the ranks. She accepted overtime, helped others with their tasks, and started going towards the route that she wanted to go towards. Of course this was seen by nearly everyone in the corporation, and after a few years (and once she had graduated college) she was placed into the area that she had been aiming for.

She became the company's head tech person. Everyday Ronnie would run tests to make sure that the company couldn't be hacked. She'd heighten their security measures, take care of any type of difficulties people faced with their equipment, and continuously work harder and harder at her job. This was fun to her. Everyday there was some kind of new problem for her to face, and so her job was never boring. There was the fact that she used their computers for...other activities though. Those activities ones that could get her in trouble. But that was only if she ever got caught right? And being the head tech allowed her to cover her tracks as "Oracle" so that they'd never know that she was running her own hacking business through their servers.

Having had this go on for about a year now, she's fairly confident that she won't be caught. The only problem lies in the fact that some of the things that she's doing are the same things that she was doing when she first came into the tech aspect of the company. And honestly? It's almost getting a little...boring again. She just hopes that something exciting will walk back into her life.
