TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

Today was a bit different. Gracie was taking a bit of a stroll through the Firefly Springs area just to get somewhere a little more peaceful as well as being able to try and get some inspiration for a new work she was in the process of creating. As per usual she did have Haku with her, the Noctowl perched at her shoulder. Meela was out with her, the Chimchar barreling all over the place while her Luxray, Frey, kept a close eye on the troublesome primate. But it was good getting this breath of fresh air, especially seeing as it was a moderately warm day. Thank goodness for the local climate. If it were freezing cold everywhere then Gracie may very well have been stuck inside much more frequently.
Things were pretty nice though and it didn't seem like anything was out of order. The place was very nice and felt much more calm than the big city, Gracie glad to avoid the whole hustle and bustle situation she was used to. Perhaps it would be better she come here more often if she wanted to relax from time to time. She looked around the area, seeing quite an array of plant life and a bit of wildlife as well, which just made her smile a bit. A major contrast from the concrete jungle she lived in now.
Suddenly Meela burst away, making a beeline elsewhere as Frey gave chase. Haku got Gracie's attention and she followed along as best she could. By the time she had arrived, Frey was standing just behind Meela while the Chimchar seemed to be looking up at someone who had happened to be around. Meela giving a smile and a greeting, while Gracie suddenly felt her heart thunder as she slowly approached a little bit. She certainly didn't expect to run into anyone here, so it was a bit of a surprise to find someone around. Or rather, for Meela to find someone around.
"Again." The lycanroc gijinka barked, but not without kindness in his voice. Before him where he sat and folded his arms across his knees were two pokemon, a Haunter and a Rowlet. At his command, the Rowlet which he had lovingly nicknamed "Yumi" launched a mighty, but not very effective Seed Bomb attack against the Haunter, and the purple ghost pokemon the young man called "Oboro" retaliated with a similarly not so very effective Thunderbolt attack. "Again." Taka repeated, and his pokemon repeated their moves at his command. "Again." This procedure, Taka rehearsed several times, until the two battlers had run out of power points. Now if only it could make enough difference that his team would be much stronger than before. Taka was sure that training like this would help his pocket monsters gain more levels, and hopefully even evolve into their next forms which the gijinka trainer fully expected.[break][break]
"Alright, that's enough for today. You've all done well!" Taka congratulated his pokemon warmly for a successful training exercise by giving them all a gentle pat on the head. This was a daily task for him and the only real friends he had that they undertook in order to become tougher in battle, and the style or method of training varied as the boy tried different things, hoping that they would evolve sooner or later. He began to collect and unsummon each of his friends back into their pokeballs when suddenly his senses picked up sounds nearby that were not his own nor that of his pocket beasts. Taka's immediate change in disposition quickly spread to the pokemon he still had out including Fujin the Talonflame and Hina the Vivillon. He hadn't even moved by the time Fujin took off, Hina trailing behind with mild disinterest. Taka as well leapt to his feet in one single bound and was after the two flying pokemon.[break][break]
Soon enough, he saw the Talonflame and Vivillon circling in the air above their target through the tree tops and ground foliage. They both screeched and chirped loudly to alert their trainer of the presence of newcomers. A lone Chimchar was standing there on the ground, looking up, and a much larger pokemon, a Luxray, stood behind it. Chimchar and Luxray, Taka was pretty certain, weren't very common around these parts, so they were probably tamed ones. Were they lost? Escapees? He felt no threat from the Chimchar, but that Luxray's presence for some reason gave him a terrible feeling in his gut. He was willing to cautiously approach them and try to find out if they needed help, but just as he stepped out from behind a few trees, the Lycanroc gijinka nearly jumped out of his skin and yelped in surprise as a human popped into the scene. "Aiya--!!" The loud commotion from the pokemon had distracted him enough that he didn't notice her approach until he saw her, but Taka's high pitched cry cut them off.[break][break]
"Wha... Just what are you doing here!?" Taka's senseless question sprouted from his desperation to make up for or hopefully even hide the embarrassment of squeaking like a puppy in front of another person. He took to crossing his arms and frowned indignantly. "L-look, if your pokemon want to fight or something, let's just battle already."

Gracie heard a loud sound and at that she was just as surprised as the person who she had come across, suddenly she jumped and stumbled backwards as Haku took to the air a bit, keeping where he was as he watched the girl end up tripping and finding herself in a small running stream. Gracie scowled as she tried to stand, now pretty soaked from the water save for her torso and upwards. Haku meanwhile waited as Gracie stood before he perched back on her shoulder and gave an inward chuckle.
We aren't here for a fight, calm yourself. My lovely lady here is simply taking a leisure stroll and our friend, Meela, decided to make a break for it. Haku explained as he projected his voice out toward the man. Gracie meanwhile was keeping back while Frey went to check on her, the Luxray circling the girl to look her over before confirming she was safe and settling a bit. He returned to stand near Meela though and still eyed the man a bit warily. The man smelled different, one of those half humans if he recalled right. They came across them from time to time.
Gracie, once she felt a bit less shaken, forced a smile and looked over to the man with an apologetic but clearly nervous look on her face. Though as a small wind passed by she shuddered. Even though the climate was generally warmer here, being all wet didn't help keep her warm.
"Uhh."Oops, was that my fault? Taka wondered, feeling more guilty the more the stranger expressed her unhappiness at now being soaked to the bone due to her surprised reaction to his outburst of a briefly panicked reaction at her sudden appearance. Well, it wasn't his fault either for jumping in reaction to seeing another person pop out of no where, but Taka was more likely to fret about all the things he did wrong and what he thought he would face repercussion for.[break][break]
Taka flinched for real when suddenly a mystic voice filled his thoughts. He scanned all the surrounding creatures and quickly figured out that it was the noctowl doing some... psychic thing... at him. He frowned with uneasiness, not used to being communicated to that way, and it still kind of freaked him out a little. After a brief moment of thinking over the noctowl's words, he breathed out and nodded. "A-Alright, alright. I believe you, so please get out of my head!" Taka held up his hand and waved at the noctowl as if trying to bat away an invisible fly.[break[break]
He noted that the human girl was standing, but hadn't reentered the small clearing from where she'd stumbled back and fallen into a shallow stream. She was visibly freezing. Who wouldn't be? As soon as he had glanced in her direction, he noticed her give an apologetic smile back at him, and he quickly averted his gaze. Well now he felt really bad for her. Taka's social discomfort was showing all over, and normally he would preemptively counter all potential judgement with fighting words, but right now, he felt it only right to at least try to help her out. He quickly untied the pelt he wore around his waist over his pants for decoration and awkwardly held it out. "U-Um, here. Use this to dry yourself off..." Taka glanced around and saw his two flying pokemon had landed on a nearby tree branch to observe with curiosity. "But I need it back once you're dried off and warmed up, okay?"[break][break]

Gracie most certainly had been surprised at the man she suddenly stumbled across. Though now being soaked to the bone, it was a bit tough to even think about anything else. While yeah, the climate in the region was generally warmer save for certain locales, it was still not fun being wet when she was just this skinny little thing. The man nearby spoke up, asking for Haku to get out of his head. Haku ruffled his feathers indignantly at this, but Gracie raised a hand to him to let him know to call it good. Eventually, the owl settled down.
At some point the man had offered her a pelt to dry off with, which she stepped forward some and slowly reached out for it. Hesitating a bit, she finally took it gently in her hands and began to lightly pat herself down a bit as not to completely ruin the pelt. It was soft and warm and smelled earthy. She liked it. When she was finished she meekly handed the pelt back to him, and once she was certain he took it back she ended up pulling out a small whiteboard from her bad and trying to dry it off better, beginning to write down in marker onto it. She turned it around toward the man.
My name is Gracie, and my Noctowl is Haku. The Chimchar is Meela and the Luxray is Frey. I can't speak, so usually Haku does so for me. It had written down in neat handwriting. She offered a shy smile as well while Frey had taken position beside her with Meela on his back. The Luxray still watched the man warily while Gracie communicated with him.
