TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

[attr="class","mouths1"]...One day, I am going to kick him. One day.[break]
A sigh sounded into the air as the given thought crossed the mind of a particular, younger man; jaded voids in both demeanor and hue alike closed softly as he walked along the dimmed, night time streets of Irisia following his work shift. His hands remained safely and warmly slipped within the bounds of his pockets; the index fingers of either one tapping softly against his legs from beyond the thin layer of fabric separating them from touching his own skin. They moved gently in time to the rhythmic cues sounding through his ears; courtesy of the melodies and tunes meeting his ears due to the earbuds that were comfortably yet securely lodged within either one of them. Given that a reasonable while had passed, Yi Tao Hong would have opened his eyes a vague amount; first eyeing the passing grounds beneath his feet before tilting his head upwards in order to take a gander upon the heavens far above his own being.[break][break]
He stared in silence for a short while before peering over his shoulder in order to peer at the common duffle bag that he often carried with him.[break][break]
...It is late, but...I suppose that I can spare a little bit of time…[break][break]
With that thought, he pondered the idea of lingering for several moments more before ultimately giving in; jade eyes of his navigating the clearing for a short while before finding a small patch of grass a fair ways away; one that seemingly bordered the grounds of a nearby playground. Murmuring softly under his breath, he breathed another, softer sigh beneath it before turning just enough to be able to direct his form towards it as he began walking. Within a matter of seconds, he found himself standing upon the very spot that he focused upon, and he unhooked the bag from his shoulder and set it upon the grasses themselves before lowering his own form, as well; sitting himself down and crossing his legs comfortably before reaching over to zip the bag itself open. In little more than the span of several seconds, he took hold of a sketchbook - his personal one, specifically - before reeling it out; quickly unclipping the pen that secured itself upon its spiral before flipping it open. Sights of several, inked sketches of the past blurred past his own line of sight as he flipped the pages; only becoming clear once he was faced with the first blank page that he came across.[break][break]
He looked up at the sky once more, and with a click of his pen, began sketching the moon and the heavens themselves.

Yi Tao Hong -- Hey guess who's here to crash your night
People were getting boring. Things were getting boring, everything was getting boring. Usually, she would be desperate to find some people to stop herself from sinking to this level, but everyone was out doing something or they were busy. But it was okay! That was perfectly okay! She would just find something to occupy herself! Yeah! Go for a jog, draw something, take a couple pictures! Go bake something! Anything! Anything to get her mind off being alone, anything to keep her moods and spirits up. [break][break]
Sadly, she wasn't willing to do much of anything. [break][break]
She was exhausted. Mentally, and physically. The usually bright and out-going girl was actually silent today. She wanted nothing but silence, and she was just able to force herself out of her room and roam around the house itself. Back and forth, but she hadn't realized where she was. Before she knew it, and by the time she was finished with her work, she was outside, in the Irisia. Once again, she was isolated and alone. The air was dead, the ground was dead, the trees were dead and not a sound the ear could catch. The chilled air was unnerving, almost to the point she was tempted to just crawl back into her bed and lay there without having to think. [break][break]
And you're probably going "Naomi! No! Don't go into Irisia! Parallax territory! Hiss! Bad! BLEHHHHHH!" and all that fun jazz, yes? But then she'd probably look at you like HAH. I LAUGH. IN YOUR FACE. I LAUGH. HAH. HAHA. [break][break]
HAH. [break][break]
But honestly speaking though, Irisia was the last place you'd probably see Naomi. Because it was so.. Professional, and clean, and all that fun stuff. It was all proper and uptight, near stoic even in the face of all the fun things that they had. It was a city full of busybodies, business peeps and all that fun stuff. Although here she was, having more than enough fun with her own devices such as a little flame. A little flame that hovered over her hand, keeping her the company of a dim light. But for the first time, Naomi wasn't here to jump around all happily. In the dead of the night, she finds herself taking a deep breath. Yes, the dead of the night. The only time of the day where she didn't feel like she would have to just.. Try so hard to smile anymore. There was no need to take a deep breath, there was no need to keep running on, and on, and on. Naomi smiles to herself as her golden eyes glance up at the sky, all while the flame hovering over her hand slowly begins to extinguish. [break][break]
Much as she loved Veherna, the only issue was that there were too many people she knew, there. That, coupled with the fact that she's not exactly keen on being found out being.. Actually calm, prompted her to go out somewhere that.. Probably wouldn't have people wandering out in the night. Sober, that is. Irisia at it's finest, folks. That being said, Naomi casually continues to stride down the empty streets, tail swaying behind her in a rhythmic matter. It wasn't long until she reached a small park in the open, empty seeing the late hours. And here, the woman's ambe gaze lingers over it in a brief, pensive thought. Should she? Well, the odds of anyone coming out here was slim. Like, really slim. That thought in mind, the young woman takes her sweet time to walk on over to more desolate, grassy patch and marvel under the view of the stars and all that fun stuff. Just like how she used to! Yup![break][break]
...[break] Just like how she used to. [break][break]
And like that, Naomi hugs her knees together. Her head is tilted her up, looking towards the heavens in a near trance, in a near pensive gaze. Her fingers begin to wrap around the crease her elbows create, all while her chest raises to take in a deep breath. It's not long until a dull stinging makes itself apparent in the depths of her heart, tail lowering as the vulpine ears of hers begin to slowly pin down. But nevertheless, she attempts to maintain a forced and weak smile as she's musing to herself. "Aaand there's orion~ Ooo, and hey, there's Vega! And Altair, and the biiig dipper and the little dipper, and, and--..!" She's trying to keep herself occupied, but it's no use. Her head instinctively turns north, only to find herself facing polaris of all stars. And at that, the Fennekin gijinka pauses to herself. The shine of the star reflects off her eyes momentarily as her ears begin to relax a bit more, and the tightening of her chest begins to wrap around her heart. [break][break]
It was suffocating. [break]
Her chest tightened, her heart was stinging and she could feel the corners of her lips wavering from the exaggerated smile. Her fingers begin to faintly tremble under it all, and those same, bright amber eyes seem to break it's gaze from the star above. "... Hahah.. There's.. There's Polaris and.. Then there's--" Maia. She's unable to finish her sentence, she's unable to continue her musings, and she finds herself nearly clutching her chest. Aha.. It was getting tough to breathe, now. She loses her train of thought because frankly, her mind was blank. Naomi didn't want to do anything, nor did she feel like even speaking. Most often, one would find her chiming to herself in the most bizarre fashion. Despite that.. She was quiet. It's like the air around her had completely dropped. It was actually getting hard to breathe around her, and she was not spared of this dreaded feeling of hopelessness that plagued her heart, mind and body. "Ahah.. I feel like shit.." Naomi grumbled to herself, gently bringing a petite hand up to her forehead to press against and support her neck. Fresh air. She needed fresh air, that's all. Just get some fresh air, and you'll be fine. You'll go back to being happy happy like you always are![break]
Like you always are. [break]
And though she's trying, Naomi gradually begins to lower her head into her arms. The young gijinka takes a shaky breath while pressing her forehead against her forearms. And there, her ears begin to pin down, paired with her hands trying to gently press down against the top of her head. "Stop.. Stop.." She's mumbling to herself in silence. Her tail curls inwards, taking a moment to breathe a good amount. ".. Stop.. Please just.. Stop.." But they wouldn't. They would keep going on, and on, and on. It hurt. Not because of her own voice, but because the voices of those she left were haunting her every waking second. It was giving her a migraine. [break]
[attr="class","kirameki01"] if we ever leave a legacy it's that we loved each other well; [break] xoxo
[attr="class","mouths1"]Within most occasions, it often took little to no time at all for Tao himself to become entranced within his sketches and the heavens above whenever he sat himself down and got down to work- and it just so happened that this particular instance hadn’t quite been any different from all the rest. Save for the spare instances in which he took a brief pause for sake of fast forwarding or even skipping through the songs playing through his earbuds and mp3 player alike, he rarely averted his attention away from the movements of his own pen; his wrist flicking in tune with the very, aforementioned tool as he made those swift, concise marks and strokes across the paper in the common black ink that he so dearly adored to use. It had more or less been a habit that he indulged himself within from a younger age; the usage of ink, rather than lead and pencils. Within his eyes, pencils offered more room for mistakes- and in some scenarios, they could have easily encouraged mistakes, as well- though while mistakes were often useful, he was truthfully more mentally geared and focused upon the swiftest method of improvement. In his eyes, using the method that would require the least amount of mistakes would have been the most efficient method overall; thus led to his usage of pens over pencils from an earlier portion and history of a hobbyist artist.
While it may not have worked for many other people, he found that it worked for him. That was exactly why he kept his habits to this very day.
In the same manner in which others would shift between colored pencils, Yi Tao took care to carry multiple pens of different colors upon his person at all times; clicking constantly between the inks at his disposal for sake of imbuing his more common sketches within simpler specks of colored, cross hatching streaks with each color that he took care to reel out within a given time. Although the night sky in itself little colors aside from black and white - especially when focusing upon the stars in the sky themselves, and little else - he took care to utilize his gold and silver gel pens every so often; more so to connect the invisible and metaphorical lines that supposedly connected the constellations’ stars with one another to form their respective figures of yore and lore alike.
Ursa Major… And Ursa Minor… The Little Dipper and the Big Dipper.
”Mmn… And Altair…”
His own words found themselves still within the otherwise silent night; caught beneath his breath a while after he took care to utter them. Given that several moments had passed, jaded voids of his would have narrowed vaguely before he inhaled deeply and sighed outwards just as quickly as he had taken the breath; reminded of his own companions through that single murmur. Another pause within his sketches, and he would have peered down upon his belt; eyeing the Pokeballs that resided upon it while contemplating his options. ...Most of the others are likely sleeping as of now… he thought to himself while grazing the tips of his fingers along the forms of a couple of the capsules. ...Mmn. I doubt that they would take an unwelcomed and untimely awakening lightly. So…
After a longer period of though, he took a couple of the aforementioned Pokeballs between the spaces of his fingers; tapping their buttons once in order to enlarge them before tossing them outwards gently. From the first one, a small, feline like creature popped out; its eyes bright and wide within the night as it ruffled its fur out gently. Meanwhile, the remaining Pokeball released a darker skinned creature; its head clad within a skull of its own, and bearing what appeared to be a bone club before either side of the aforementioned club ignited themselves within an eerie, yet fascinatingly radiant hue of emerald that rivaled that of its trainer’s own eyes. They each took a moment to stretch their limbs, and Tao eyed them for a short while more before beginning to allow them the time and independance to wander as they wished.
However, he found himself averted from his goals as he felt the Litten - Altair - began to nudge at his hand, earning his attention.
He looked over upon feeling the motion, and upon seeing the feline himself nod and mew in a particular direction, Tao blinked quietly before averting his gaze towards the same way. His eyes glossed over the dimness of the evening for a short while; squinting and straining themselves to a subtle degree before finally catching sight of the form that his companion seemed to be intent of alerting him about. In response to catching sight, the gijinka furrowed his brows and tilted his head softly; his own ears and tail twitching in both curiosity and confusion alike as he briefly lowered his sketchbook just enough in order to be able to turn his body to gain a better glimpse.
”...Naomi…?” he called out pensively at first, though with the same, clear, and admittedly monotoned voicing that he often maintained. ”Is that you…? What are you doing out at this time of night…?”
[attr="class","lying1"]✎ Naomi Stirling , (he sees you naomi)
She was okay. She was okay. She was just tired, she was exhausted. It would be okay. All she needed was some time to.. Herself. Outside, in the stars. She just needed a tiny bit more time to herself, and she can return to how she always felt. There was no need to be feeling so down, though. There was no reason for her to feel like there was no one there, when her pokemon were right a click and a toss away. There was no need for her to feel unwanted, because she was out of that school now. There was no need for her to wallow in her own insecurities, there was no need for her to be bashing herself over the head, more than she already was. There was no need, she was being selfish. She was whining over nothing, she was overreacting because she was okay. She was perfectly and - without a doubt - okay. [break][break]
Or if she was going to be honest, she wasn't okay. Naomi knows that she's not mentally okay, and Naomi thinks that she may never be. Because they're gone. They're all gone. She knows they're all gone. All up in the sky, and she knows that she'll never see them again. That thought in mind, Naomi takes a deep breath as her ears begin to pin themselves down. Against the top of her head, but now she feels too tired to even lift them up. She feels too tired to stay alert; like she could just.. Fall asleep under the night sky. Hah.. She could, but she probably shouldn't. The woman slowly lifts her head up, vibrant, golden eyes staring up at the world above her. Mmn.. It was beautiful, she thought to herself. Even someone as energetic and spastic as herself could take in and appreciate a sight like this - even someone as immature as her could love the stars. Even someone like her could find herself entranced in their patterns, their natural colours and the vast universe above theirs. One that she'd never be able to reach. One that she would never be able to reach.[break][break]
But there was a belief that she liked to keep in the back of her mind. Though she knows that it isn't true and will never be true, it's that she knows someone is up there. A little star watching over her, as cliche as that sounds. It was a small, false hope and belief that she has acknowledged, but it's also the core belief that has helped her throughout the years. When things were hard. When living was hard. When making ends meet was hard. When getting up in the morning was hard. When going to school was hard-- [break][break]
When the air stung her nostrils and burned her lungs like it was today. [break][break]
It was suffocating. It was hard to breathe yet again, and again she finds herself taking in that breath of air. She finds herself toughing through that pain, she's trying to live despite the difficulties. But why? Hah.. She probably doesn't know. The fennekin woman sighs to herself as her arms keeping her up begin to tremble. The air she took in made her heart hurt, they made her ache as she stared up at the sky she loved so fondly. And with that, Naomi smiles a weak bit before ultimately beginning to hug her knees close to her chest, hugging around them to secure their position. Naomi gently rests her forehead against them as her body begins to tense up, back arching to curl inwards. The blood and heat raise to her head, successfully prompting out small bits of tears to form at the corners of her eyes. And with that final, deep breath, she begins to stutter and lets out faint and quiet sobs. [break][break]
That is, until she hears a familiar, monotoned voice. [break][break]
And at that, her ears perk up. Both ears and tail perk up while her arms quickly drop to their sides-- ... Ah, right, Tao was working at a bar tonight. Even though the both of them were in the Republic, Naomi had the excuse of working with the studios while Tao was.. Well, his family was part of that cooperation stuff that Naomi never bothered to pay attention to. Mn.. But that wasn't good, was it? The fact that he saw her? Or.. No. He was too far away to see that she was probably crying. He was too far away to see that she was possibly hurting. He was too far away to see that she was.. Probably not okay. But.. That's good. That's a good thing. [break][break]
Naomi slowly raises herself to her feet bringing her hand up to the corner of her eyes and wipe away whatever tears that may have formed or fallen. It's okay, she thought. It'll all be okay, because she just needed to be around someone. She'll be okay, so long as there's someone to take her mind off her bad thoughts. Terrible thoughts, right? Exactly! Bad, bad thoughts! They should be burned! She can burn them! [break][break]
BUUUUURN! HAH. LIKE THAT![break] She promises that she isn't a pyromaniac. [break][break]
ANYWHO. Tao, yes. Tao was like.. Probably right down there? Yeah, that was definitely him, alright. Naomi's lips curl upwards to beam a smile down in his direction, enthusiastically waving an arm up into the air. With that, the Fennekin Gijinka begins to hop in place in hopes to get his attention. Like, he'd.. Most likely be able to find her if she jumped, yeah? Of course he would! Which is why she did. [break][break]
Even though her legs were feeling numbed and weighed a thousand pounds. [break][break]
But that's okay! The pinkette hops on forwards and happy little steps, giggling all the while chiming out his name. Mispronounced, that is. "TOOOOOOWEL!" The woman screams from her distance. Was it necessary? Even though you're only like.. Not too, too far away from him? Uh.. Duh! Obviously it was! Clearly, how else was she supposed to get his attention, right? And besides, it would be terrible if like, there was this doppelgänger who thought hey, lets trick Tao! Hey, don't tell her they aren't real! She's seen them in movies before, way more than once! Horrible. Dreadful. The idea itself was absolutely terrifying. [break][break]
But of course, she's completely disregarding his question for the time being, only so she can compose herself through that overly exaggerated greeting.

[attr="class","lost1"]...Arceus grant me mercy.
[attr="class","rise"]
[attr="class","dying1"]
[attr="class","mouths1"]...That answers my initial question, but not the latter.
The thought crossed his mind all throughout the time that his gaze lingered upon the other’s form; be it from the moment in which he spotted her within her lonesome, to the moments through which she seemingly began to grow as hyper as she ever was while picking herself up and bounding over towards him within all of her obnoxious glory and annoyance alike. ...Of course, the key word within that statement in itself was ‘seemingly’. Seemingly. She seemingly appeared to be as such- and within the eyes of most, her demeanor in itself had been easy to be perceived as her true demeanor through and through. For the most part, Yi Tao himself found himself wavering between those commons crowds who thought as much, though also procured the occasional, skeptical thought or few every so often, as well. If anything, he found it hard not to be at least a faint bit skeptical after seeing her at first.
...What with the pensive and borderline surprised behavior she seemed to have exhibited shortly before he called out to her. Because of course he took note of that.
While Altair and Zhurong themselves sat closer towards his flanks while keeping their gazes upon the neighboring fire type gijinka while she ventured onwards, the feline gijinka himself kept his own attention locked upon her; jaded voids looming upon her form even throughout the time that she screeched that ludicrously stupid nickname of his across the dead of the night. ...The primary and only thing that set it apart from the prior times, however, was the fact that he showed no signs of his common cringe of distaste upon hearing it.There was no cringe. No glare of disgust.
...Merely a look of unreadable pensiveness.
”...Yet again I ask: what are you doing outside at this time of night?” he repeated himself; eyebrows furrowing gently, and his head tilting faintly all the while. ”To say that it is late would be more than exaggeration… I would have thought that you would have gone directly home after work by now.”

Yi Tao Hong -- Don't mind this template change LOL
Oh god he was on to her. [break][break]
ABORT. ABORT MISSION. MISSION ABORT. WHATEVER GRAMMAR THAT IS! The point is that Tao was on to her, and she could tell through that gaze of unreadable thought. Like, it's right there. Not hard to tell when he was thinking hard on something? Or maybe it was? The fact that he uh.. Almost always looked like that doesn't help. But hey, she's been with him for like, years on end. Probably just a bit over a decade, now. Yeah, just over a decade. Yeah, sure he was like a rock the majority of the time. Like.. All the time, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have emotions. Maybe. That's what she likes to think. That's what she'd like to tell most people, but then they're going "HAH. AS IF." in her terms. Like you look at him and you go "oh hey, a rock person." and really.. Yeah. You don't usually what goes on in his mind, nor do you know what he's thinking. Point here is that Naomi knows that he's on to her, and that's not usually something that she's fond of letting loose. Hell, she's probably the last person who would actually speak about why she'd hesitate. Why she'd have trouble here and there, why she's struggling and all that fun stuff. Even if she does have a problem here and there. [break][break]
Bad thoughts, bad thoughts. [break][break]
Bad thought that shouldn't be given the time of daaaaay! Even though he was there when she first came back into the normal world, she knows that he probably viewed her the same way everyone else did. And even though he tells her that she can tell him anything, well.. Yeah, she knows that she can. The only problem here is that she doesn't want to. It's fine for her to go on everyday without a care in the world. She'd rather get by everyday in a flurry where she can't have any time to think for herself; she'd rather go on and move on without having to think about the icky things of her past. She'd rather not. But when the weather was so peaceful and everything around her was so dark, when she was surrounded by nothing but the twilight and the stars, it was hard. It was hard not to think. It was hard not to grow pensive, not to grow silent and appreciate what she had. But then there was the underlying grief; the self blame as to what she's had to lose to get all the way there. Then she can't help but to ask herself; was it worth it? [break][break]
Buuuuut mindless details~.. There wasn't anything that she couldn't get herself past, anymore. Sure, it stung. Hell, she knew for a fact that it hurt. Sure, it was a bit too much for her to handle and it was a lot to shoulder, there was nothing else she could do. The rambling in the back of her mind was quickly converted into that cheery demeanour, arm waving spastically in the air with the bright smile plastered on her face. The grin that she shot him revealed the pointed canines, paired with the bright, golden eyes in the night. "WELL. YOU SEE--" She raises her voice, probably loud enough to practically scream to the heavens. THEY WERE IN THE PARK. SHE CAN SCREAM ALL SHE WANTED. RAAAAAAAA-- Okay, but back to the conversation. She was answering a question, and he was uh.. Probably expecting an answer. Especially since she didn't answer the first time. "You see, I was doing that acting thing and I was like 'Okay so I need to get back to Veherna' and I'm like WOOP. But then uh.. I was running behind schedule. And I kiiind of missed the bus?" That time. That time wasn't her fault. But this upcoming bit? It probably was her fault. Probably. Kind of. No it wasn't, according to her it wasn't. [break][break]
AND THEREFORE IT WASN'T HER FAULT.[break][break]
"Then I went 'hey! Since I'm stuck here, I should do some sight seeing!' So I ended up like.. Hiding myself in the crowds. You know, hat and all. But HELL was it hard hiding my tail! Like, I literally had to STUFF IT UNDER THE DRESS I WAS WEARING and uh.. Yeah. It wasn't fun." So here she goes again, rambling with more than enough words to get the point across. The fire gijinka's aforementioned tail begins to sway behind herself, ears perked up before ultimately taking that deep breath. To catch that air. "Aaaand then I kind of.. Wandered a bit too much. Then I kind of.. Took the wrong bus? So then I thought 'hey! Lets go visit Towel at work!' buuuut by the time I got there, you weren't there." Her hands begin pointing in all sorts of places in the air, more to gesture at one place to another. "Then I was like 'Hookay. Really late now. Might as well go home.' Buuuut again. Sense of direction is horrible! Soooo I ended up looking at the sky because navigation and.. Yeah. Sky looked really nice. So I kept walking and then found this park! Really, really nice view! Aaaand here we are now!" [break][break]
Her voice is literally echoing. Like, booming, echoing. Like BOOM BOOM BOOM. THAT BOOM BOOM SONG THING. You know, when you turn the speakers and stereo waaaaay up and it goes DOOMP. DOOMP. DOOMP-- ... Okay yeah. Probably not that loud, but it was still pretty obnoxious. Either way, that doesn't stop her from pausing on her usual mess of a train of thought to glance upwards to him. "Soooo.. Is it my turn to ask you the same thing, yet?"

[attr="class","avatar"]
[attr="class","lost1"]...Arceus grant me mercy.
[attr="class","rise"]
[attr="class","dying1"]
[attr="class","mouths1"]Within the beginning, Yi Tao found himself grimacing and cringing faintly by sole virtue of being pained by the volume at which the other was practically screaming at; feline ears of his pinning against his head softly to give way to the distaste and disdain alike, and the tail of similar characteristics that he maintained tensing up slightly all the while, as well. Jaded voids of his narrowed softly throughout the duration of the woman’s words and claims alike, and by the time that she had officially ended the story that she had to tell, he clicked his tongue softly while finally allowing his ears to rise the tiniest bit. ”...The screaming was the farthest from necessary. Arceus…” he murmured with a touch of bitterness, shaking his head softly within the same, general span of time of doing so. A hand of his lifted to rub one of the aforementioned ears as if soothing it, though after a small amount of time, the man himself merely breathed a low, subtle sigh before slipping either of his hands into his pockets. ”It is quite literally the dead of the night… If others are not venturing home for the evening, they are likely already sleeping, and I doubt that the lot of them would have appreciated someone screeching their God forsaken head off some ways off…”
By the end of those words, he allowed a quiet pause to pass for sake of allowing his own breath and thoughts to be gathered. His gaze lingered upon her pensively all the while, though in due time, he found himself shaking his head and grumbling softly.
”...I cannot say that I am surprised by your actions, however...I also cannot say that I am in complete approval, either…” he grumbled lowly, quirking his lip while eyeing her continuously. As per his usual demeanor, his eyes shone with that common, brightened hue of green, yet held an everlasting look of what borderline distance and a stoic pensiveness all the same throughout the time that they had cast themselves upon her. ”...Although I do appreciate the thought of a visit, you know that I still work rather late. It would be wiser to return home rather than trek about and-... ...Mmn… ‘Sightsee’ later into the evening, and-…”
He took a moment to pause and linger upon the inquiry bestowed upon him. Upon fully registering it, he narrowed his eyes within a faint degree before clicking his tongue once more.
”...I...now realize that I may or may not be a little bit hypocritical within my claims, given my own reasoning of being out…” With those words, the man twitched his ears gently, all while his tail followed within a similar suit all the while. ”Albeit...I myself did not get lost. However...the stars tonight looked as beautiful as they always so. ...I wanted to take a small while to gaze upon them, and to add a little bit more to my sketches.”

Yi Tao Hong -- Sliiiightly shorter but hey Naomi's being thoughtful for once.
Unfortunately for THIS buzzkill over here, both of them knew that Naomi wasn't gonna be shutting up any day soon. Or anytime soon. Or just.. Shutting up in general. Hell, Naomi seemed way more intent on annoying the ever living shit out of him, even when she did that without even trying. Most of the time. And so the young woman can only stare with that brightened smile, shamelessly throwing her hands to hold each other behind her back while her back leg kicks outwards. Naomi pivots her front foot against the ground, spinning herself against the grass to turn and face the open space before them. Even though she knew fully well how she shouldn't be disturbing others, Naomi didn't seem to look as though she was concerned about the people around them. Or.. Rather, the people who would potentially hear them from the distance they were at. Vulpine ears twitch a fair amount to register his words before her large, bushy tail proceeds to casually sway from side to side. "Hehe~ Sorry, sorry~. But I mean, it's pretty hard not to scream out when I can actually hear my echo~" With that, the woman cups her hands to form a wide funnel over her lips, raising her voice, but not to the extreme amount that she did so earlier. "Like thiiiiiis~!" Bright, amber eyes glance back to him from the corner of her sight, a grin pulling at her lips before lowering her hands back to her sides. [break][break]
Also, just gonna say? Why on the earth would she need his approval to scream out something? If she wanted to scream something out, then she was going to scream it out! There was no stopping her, see? Like, there really wasn't. You can try as hard as you want, but the odds of her stopping and actually going quiet were like, slim to none. None, only because she knows that she's with another person, here. Another person who she has noticed was.. Probably catching on. Like, suspecting something. Something. Maybe something, but that wasn't really any good, right? Exactly. And though she hates to lie, being an actress herself.. Well.. Lying was second nature to her, anyways. That being said, it seemed like Tao's train of thought was slowly - ever so slowly - beginning to come to a pause. Why? Because he was starting to sound like a hypocrite, and the gradual change of pace in his tone seemed to make it obvious that he was beginning to contradict himself. The scene of that prompts the young woman to smile brightly in response, ears twitching a fair amount before redirecting her gaze back to the celestial bodies above. "Hyyyyypocriiiiite!~"[break][break]
See Tao? How hard was it being honest? [break][break]
Says her. Ah well, they could both be hypocritical together! Made everything feel less lonely, yeah? Hence why the young woman only smiled a fair amount before pointing up towards a few mot stars that she failed to find earlier in her own musings. Bright eyes skim the skies with a fair amount of curiosity, thoughts racing through her mind as she's trying to form thought that should be blurt out without a moment's hesitation. Yet as her eyes reflect the the dimmed light of the stars, she can't help but to grow silent. Her lips begin to relax at the ends, her body nearly grows limp as she's staring up at the stars in a near awestruck manner. It was one of the few times where Naomi was actually quiet; one of the rare times where she was being relatively thoughtful. Let it be from the view itself or her own memories plaguing her mind, it doesn't change the fact that her mind had momentarily cleared out for the most part. [break][break]
This silence, however, doesn't last all too long before the glimmer of life returns to her eyes. Her ears twitch while her tail stands up on end, suddenly jerking up to being herself back to reality. Back, Naomi! Back I say! Or.. She says. It wasn't good to stray around in ones thoughts too often, especially in the presence of a friend, yeah? Rule number one! Definitely rule number one! And with that, Naomi turns her attention back to him, pivoting in the spot in order to face him once again. The woman takes a few light steps over to him, leaning forwards while her gaze falls to his sketchbook and bag. "Oooo.. You're sketching out constellations? I wanna see them!"
