[attr="class","mouths1"]Today was one of those rare days that Cid was free from dealing with the trials and tribulations that came with being the director of Eden. He enjoyed his work that was for sure but everyone needed a day or two, especially someone in his shoes. Certainly he would have gone by mad by now if he had done nothing but work all the time, even though there are people who would consider him mad even now with the work load that he puts himself through. Unfortunately it didn’t help that a lot of his off days turned into work days.

Typically Cid would get hounded by either employees of associates who would dog pile him with questions, requests or other mind numbing tasks that made it impossible to get away. This time Cid sneaked away, leaving everyone confused as to where it was that he went exactly. All he did was place a note on his desk saying; “Be back soon!” with a multiple smiley faces and hearts on it. But a day off for him was also a day off for his Pokémon which meant he was going to be able to spoil them. That was what he had spent most of his day doing.

As such he was enjoying a leisurely stroll with his Dragonite, Atlas. The two were enjoying themselves; Cid had just gotten Atlas some treats that the Pokémon just adored. It was nice seeing the Pokémon happy; it put a smile on Cid’s face. ”The next place we should go to is this adorable little shop that apparently has the most fabulous of teas.” He had been distracted enough to not hear the warning towards him or the fireworks. Luckily his Dragonite’s instincts kicked in a protected the man, using his arms to protect Cid. The Dragonite glared at the assailant, marching over to them with a fiery anger in his eyes.

”Now, now Atlas no need to be so angry.” Cid tried to calm the dragon Pokémon before it did anything too rash. The dragon angrily stared down at the woman before letting out a loud huff and moving to the side, listening to his trainer’s words. ”There much better now!” The director patted the still bothered Atlas, appreciative of his dragonite’s protective nature. ”Now what do we have here?” Cid smiled as he looked over the person and the device that almost charred him. As he did so he released his Audino to take care of whatever injury Atlas had from early, despite the Dragonite’s protest.

”You should be more careful! You almost blow off my beautiful head! How would I enjoy delicious tea then?!” He jokingly scolded. ”Well no one was really hurt so it’s no big deal but judging by the work you put into that, you’re quite into these sort of things aren’t you?” Cid was quite curious about this person now. ”My name is Cid A. Valentine, it’s a pleasure to meet you. And please don’t mind Atlas there, he might look like a big mean Dragonite but he’s a big teddy bear once you get to know him. So tell me about the pyrotechnics you made here. What went wrong?”
