i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ The part of him that related to the Pokemon felt more comfortable around water, due to Alola being made up entirely of islands, making it use to being surrounded by water. Niall on the other hand, was dissociative about that, suddenly worried about his ability to control the legend's abilities. He had confident in his ability to do so, but there was still the underlying fear that stayed there. Aligned with Parallax, staying anywhere but Irisia would probably get him bad reputation, and he refused to go near New Vahera without his costume on to counter this idea. So, he was glued to Irisia. So, he figured the best place to be to get himself to feel more comfortable in his surroundings would be the most relaxing area one can visit; An Aquarium. The distraction of the fish would calm him enough psychologically to reflect that idea towards the water, as he wasn't made of fire he found his 'electrocution' idea in the back of his mind preposterous. He found himself a fool for thinking it, yet still thought it somehow. So, he paid and headed into the Aquarium, eyes twinkling as he looked throughout the building. There was glance he caught of the gift shop, but that glance was brief so he could note to visit it after. His intentions were sound, some souvenirs for himself couldn't hurt, but giving his Torracat a plush fish to chew on might not be a bad idea either. By the time he reached the main part of the aquarium, a smile was already on his face, teeth clearly showing. Small bits of static puffed his hair up in a stylized bounce, but otherwise, he seemed to not give off any actual electricity. He was in awe, though, and a few chuckles escaped him from the sounds and questions he'd hear kids make in the crowd. He almost yelped upon seeing a Gyarados pop up though, falling over into a seat and forcing his hair back. "Okay, that was a good jumpscare." He chuckled to himself, laughing off the fright he just put himself in rather than allow himself to get emberassed from it. "Wait.... it wasn't red was it?" He felt disbelief wash over him; this wasn't his first time here, but they did add in new pokemon occasionally. He pondered on if he was seeing things, or if it was actually there, resulting in a puzzled look towards the tank. @open ● for 1 other person ● 000 [attr="class","mizocredits"] [newclass=.mizocredits]width:90px;padding:1px;border:1px solid #969696;margin:5px;[/newclass][newclass=.mizocredits a]color: #d3f4ff;font: bold 6pt calibri; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: uppercase;[/newclass]

[attr="class","tgg"] [attr="class","TheGreatGatsby"] 自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Sure this was a different city than where her own faction was, but Nerissa felt more at home in the water. She'd spent years and years in the water, being free, when she was actually Lugia and not Lugia trapped in a young woman body. But now, here in Irisia, she could feel a little at home. For a moment she considered moving here instead of living in the Republic-controlled area, but siding with them was much more important to her.
Her hands were fisted in the pockets of the hoodie she wore, a slight perturbed look on her face as she looked into each of the enclosures. It really saddened her to see these wonderful Pokémon trapped behind glass like this when they should've been free. The difference between the freed ones and these ones was astounding. Too many times she'd seen the way the Pokémon in the ocean had jumped out of the water in their happiness of being free rather than confined like some of the others. Part of Lugia had even wanted to release Nerissa's Pokémon upon taking over the girls body, however she knew how odd that would be since Nerissa had such a close bond with them. So no matter how much having the two electric mice bothered her, she kept them around.
As she got to the main part of the aquarium, the part where most of the crowd was, her eyes scanned the big tank. Some of the questions posed by the younger kids had her smiling, while others had her taking a quick glance to them wondering why'd they ask such a thing. The Gyarados posing up had caused her to jump in her place slightly, body relaxing right afterwards as she knew that it wouldn't be able to touch her. Not only that, but she could hold her own against one of those. It was the question from a blond guy that had her sparing a glance to him, the corners of her lips twitching up into a soft smile at what he said. "It was definitely red. She took a lot at how he had fallen, a laugh leaving her. "Had he really scared you that much?" @zeraora [attr="class","mizocredits"] [newclass=.mizocredits]width:90px;padding:1px;border:1px solid #969696;margin:5px;[/newclass][newclass=.mizocredits a]color: #d3f4ff;font: bold 6pt calibri; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: uppercase;[/newclass][googlefont=Muli][newclass=.TheGreatGatsby]width: 89px; height: 89px; border:1px solid #201f24;transition:.7s[/newclass][newclass=.tgg:hover .TheGreatGatsby]filter:invert(100%); -webkit-filter: invert(100%); transition:.7s;border: 1px solid #f0f0f0;[/newclass]
