>> Life started off like any other for Nikolai - a loving father and mother, freshly married and wanting a child. He attended the local school for poekmon trainers, aspiring to become strong and perhaps one day join a gym or, as a child's aspirations would have it - the elite four.[break][break]
>> With the sudden breakout of deaths, mad trainers sweeping the country sides, killing without mercy - many schools closed out of fear, including the one that Niko attended. Out of fear, his family packed their things and began to move - staying in one place for no more than a few weeks at a time.[break][break]

>> It was a hard lifestyle, but one they deemed necessary to keep their family safe and together. The strain it brought on Nikolai, however, was something undesirable, the boy falling into depression - but he did his best to hide it well.[break][break]

>> Toward the end of the rampage that killed much of the population, Nikolai found himself orphaned - his parents falling during their attempt to protect their son while fleeing.[break][break]
>> With everything coming to a close thereafter, Nikolai made a life for himself crafting weapons and metal working- training with them - learning from others and teaching himself new tricks of the trade.[break][break]
>>At the age of 22 members of Parallax found him - still trying to deal with the death of his family and the loss of everything he had ever known.[break][break]

>> They had quickly decided that he could be a mind they could easily shape and make their own, especially if he were to accept their offer to provide him a home and everything he'd need in return. Nikolai accepted.[break][break]

>> His next years were spent in intensive training, rarely allowed to come into contact with anyone outside of the people who regulated him and his program - friendships, love, anything of the sort would make him weak.[break][break]

]>> With time, he began to believe this - closing his heart off to the world, becoming cold and callous. Emotions were weak. That's why his parents died, he wouldn't follow in their footsteps. [break][break]

>> Feeling confident in his training, they finally decided a test run was in order - try out their new... toy.[break][break]

>> Giving Nikolai explicit details of his first mission, they set the boy out to take down a small group attempting to band together under the name of team plasma.[break][break]
>> Without a second thought and without batting an eye, he slayed them all.[break][break]

>> Pleased with the results, they kept their little assassin project under wraps, sending him out when they recieved a tip of anyone trying to rally.[break][break]
>> Of course, his success eventually caught the attention of the higher ups - and their scientists. With that came the thought, what if the could make him more - stronger, more... heartless - more of an animal.[break][break]

>> Without a word of their plan breathed to Nikolai, they transported him to their largest laboratory under the guise that he had a very important mission. It wasn't like they were lying, after all.[break][break]
>> It was only when he walked into the building and he saw the giant beast lumbering above him in captivity did he get the faintest clue of what they wanted. He was taught not to have fear, not to let emotions show - but then and there, he felt panic. They informed him then of their plans, wanting him to meet the Ultra Beast, to see it - hoping that he would accept their proposal. He did. [break][break]

>> Their experiment did have some adverse effects that they hadn't anticipated - not that they cared. His skin had turned an odd shade of purple, mirroring that of the Ultra Beast they had forced with him - Naganadel. [break][break]
>> But their every hope with the experiment came true. Nikolai now had a deeper hatred for humans - given from the fact that Naganadel was captured, tortured himself and forced to become one with a human. His bloodlust almost became insatiable when he was sent on his missions.[break][break]

>> Now more than human, and stronger, they are able to send Nikolai out to hunt more groups at once, even larger groups than before - able to take on so much more. He does so without question - emotions buried deeper within, almost broken some days.[break][break]

>> There are definitely days where Nikolai doesn't even know who he is anymore, the lines blurred between himself and Naganadel. He's not sure who's acting, who's talking - if he's even him of the pokemon within.[break][break]
>> He feels what he's doing is right, despite the blood on his hands, the blood that drips from his sword. Naganadel also believes this, taking his anger, pain and frustration out on the humans they're sent to kill... but somewhere buried deep, they wonder.[break][break]
>> Much to his surprise, it was actually Naganadel who wonders if there's something more to all of this - but every time the thought comes up, he quells it as quickly as it came, moving on to their next mission. But what if the pokemon is right? [break][break]

>> It doesn't matter. As soon as the thought is haulted and they find themselves on the move again, the rage returns the dragon - death resuming once more[break][break]
