Her parents always did this.
Every summer, they would bring her over. Every summer they would dump her into the hands of another family, just so that they could go out and do their own thing. Every single year, she didn't know where her parents went nor did she care to ask. At this point, the white-haired girl seemed to be aware of the fact that they only cared about their business. She knew that they only cared about their work, and she knew fully well that this meant they had no obligation to waste their precious time on her of all things. She knows that they're probably trying to turn her into their little machine, and she knows that perhaps, they'll never let her hang out with other children. At some point in her short life, she knows that she'll probably grow up not knowing the meaning of personal contact. Frankly, she thinks that she'll probably be forced into business like the two of them. Put on that business persona that they always wore. Do nothing but waste away the days doing her job, and probably die doing what she felt like she had to do. Marry herself off for the sake of business. Talk for the sake of business. Live for the sake of business. For the past number of years, she has thought and done nothing to oppose the words of her parents. She had done nothing and showed no signs of defiance in spite of the little freedom. Little freedom that though she did desire, found no point in. If there is nothing to do with said freedom, then there was no use of being in possession of it. That was her philosophy, no matter how young she may have been. She was content with living her life that way. [break][break]
But it's not until recently where she's starting believing that, for once, her parents were possibly wrong. [break][break]
The aforementioned family were - more specifically and obviously, - another branch of business partners for her parents. People from Sinnoh, people who seemed to enjoy the yearly cold and the like. Even then, there were the times where they would be able to leave that snowy atmosphere and go down to the warmer areas. Floaroma and the like - one place in particular where the flowers bloomed. It was nothing like Kanto, where the majority of area was left barren as it was. Open space, few towering buildings. Its landscape, population and large buildings were foreign to her, no matter how many times she would be brought over. It was a new world to her, a new world outside of the car that would bring her back and forth from other businesses and companies. The fact that she could see the vast sky for itself was already a large improvement from her previous living conditions. As if that weren't a big enough change, for the past few years or so, the young girl came into contact with not one, but four other children around her age. Two of which were twins, one that was older, and one that was still closer to an infant. It was new for her, who was born as the only child save the company of her parents and some of the other maids and butlers in her home. To find kids running around and playing, over reading and studying was odd for her. What struck her as even more foreign was how their parents seemed to support this behaviour; a stark contrast to her own family. Initially, she found this group of children odd. She found them difficult to get along with, only because she didn't know how to speak with them. [break][break]
What she doesn't know is that this was set up by her parents, hoping that she could gain both some social skills, and deepen the relationship between the two companies. Of course, she was only a child at the time, so hell would she have known of their intent. [break][break]
Regardless, she has, to some extent, grown accustomed to visiting their home. As for today, a trip to Floaroma was welcomed with the sweet scents wafting through the air and the flowers scattered around and about. Brightened, golden eyes seem to gleam as she looks at each patch of flowers, quietly following behind one boy in particular. One hand is gently pressing up against her sun hat while the other rests at her side, taking small steps forwards while absorbing the beautiful scenery. Shortly afterwords however, she sees a small playground off to the side. Rather, it was framed by the other flowers, with a path leading towards it. If anything, the child felt as though it practically beckoned her, but she hadn't a clue of what in arceus' name it was. With that, the pale female begins to move up at a faster pace, the hand at her side slowly raised upwards. Her fingers gently brush over to poke at the other boy's hand, before her small fingers wrap around it altogether. "... Bai?" She voices in a low tone. Once she grabs his attention, the girl lowers her other hand and points towards the play structure. "... What's that?"
