For sole virtue of being a Wishiwashi Gijinka, Artemis is capable of standing her own in water. She is an excellent swimmer and can stay under waters for a prolonged period of time. Her skin is covered with a thin layer of scales that feel more like human flesh at touch, which allow her to breathe under the water to some extent. That being said, Artemis has a pair of short, white fins against her elbows that she can use when swimming. On the other hand, Artemis is deathly fragile and as a result, has a rather weak body. She is incapable of swimming against strong currents and it's more than likely that she would be swept away. Further more, she's physically weak and often times finds herself in more trouble than not when she's going to be picking a fight. [break][break]
On the other hand, of course, Artemis is more than capable of her own version of "schooling". Her pupils themselves change shape and glow a bright blue, which can be seen from a far distance. In this process, she enters a state of transformation where her body temporarily grows a large amount, more befitting of her age. Her physical capabilities improve exponentially, sharply increasing herself in every state. In this condition, Artemis is capable of weaving her way through strong currents of water with ease. The force of her attacks become increasingly powerful, now in a state where she's much more fit to physically fight in.
