I've been left out alone like a damn criminal[break]
>> A family, happy at the time, had a child - of whom they named Oliver. They had a stable life - a nice home, well paying jobs, everything seemed good. The child had good conditions to grow up in. [break][break]
>> Thing is, good things rarely last. At the age of six, his father found his mother having an affair with another man, effectively breaking their image of the perfect family in half. The two filed or a divorce shortly after, his father taking him - leaving his mother with her new fling to create their own life, moving into Celestic Town from the outskirts. [break][break]
>> Growing up without a mother was hard on both parties - his father for trying to raise a child on his own and Oliver himself, without having a parent around for most of the time, he had to do most of everything himself. Cooking, cleaning, laundry - he always thought of it as he took care of himself. [break][break]
>> There was, however, one child who Oliver found himself getting along with, a girl a few years younger than he by the name of Natalia. A pair most odd, they would probably have never gotten along under normal circumstances. That being said, she stumbled upon him one day, sitting alone on a rock, stewing silently to himself with a bloody lip after a fight. With enough pushing, he allowed her to help, and an unlikely friendship blossomed.[break][break]
>> Even with his newfound friend, however, his devious streak remained steadfast. There were several times where Nat tried to coerce him from these habits - each time he'd either ignore her or tell her that there was no way he could. Headstrong, she continued this, and this dance continued through their friendship. It didn't seem to bother the two in the least - their friendship stood through many tests. It was something Oliver really needed.[break][break]
>> The day that would shift his life was far from expected. At the age of fifteen, He'd done his most devious deed yet, having stolen a young eevee from a fellow student who was using her to torment other children, abusing the poor pokemon. He'd tucked the pokeball away in the freezer as soon as he'd taken it, hiding it behind boxes and other packages within a few layers of towels he'd grabbed to attempt to keep it from freezing too badly.[break][break]
>> When he went back to retrieve the pokeball, he found something he wasn't expecting - a young girl, a fellow student, slowly dying from the cold. Grabbing the pokeball he'd hidden, he pulled her from the freezer, placing her outside before rushing off to get help, knowing he probably shouldn't move her too much without knowing what he was doing.[break][break]
>> From there on out, he found himself attaching to this girl, finding her name to be Eun. His devious streak continued, much to other's dismay - hoping that between Nat and Eun that this would slow or stop. His biggest point was to be comfortable in her own skin. Much like her, he also had heterochromia and had no fear in how he appeared to others. There was no reason to be ashamed in how she was born. Along with this, he helped her express herself, communicate with her hands and with time, she opened up to him to a deeper degree than he thought she ever would.[break][break]
>> Fighting kids who spoke bad about her, skipping classes to spend time with her - even though some aspects of his streak worsened, it was no different from what he'd already been accomplishing.[break][break]
>> Least to say, the attachment between the two grew ever stronger, and the two took up dating, testing the waters for a future with eachother. Saying that the results were positive was an understatement, and the two began a relationship that would last for years to come - even with his devious tendencies.[break][break]
>> At the age of 23, he left with her to go visit her cousin in Kanto, taking a plane for the vacation - sightseeing included. Neither of them could have guessed how drastically this decision would change both of their lives.[break][break]
In the blink of an eye[break]
>> Everything happened so fast, like a blur. One moment, the pilot was frantically telling people to take precautions, the next, the plane was going down and the next - flames, metal going this way and that. If you were to ask him today what he remembered of it, he wouldn't be able to recall much more than that - and the sudden cool rush as he fell into water, sinking ever so slowly.[break][break]
>> He was dying, he knew it. He could see blood in the water around him - his own blood. His body felt heavy, lethargic. There's a certain icy feeling that creeps through your veins, running through your body as your soul fades, so he says. It's not a feeling he wants to have again any time soon.[break][break]
A shot in the dark[break]
>> When he came to a few days later, he found himself resting in a cave, high in the mountains and well hidden - gasping for breath and freaking as his hands quickly roamed his body, searching for wounds - there was nothing to be found. He had died. He had died. How was he here? [break][break]
>> It was soon after that he heard the other being within, talking to him, explaining everything. Of course, after soothing him and bringing him down from his panic attack at this seemingly sentient voice within his mind that definitely was not him. This included the changes to his body - however subtle, such as a slight aging of his appearance from the traumatic experience and the silvering running through sections of his hair - both of which Dialga admitted was due to their merging.[break][break]
>> He returned to civilization a few days later, taking time to himself to process things - but nothing like this could be processed that quickly. No, instead, he isolated himself from friends, from family, seeing it to be the better option due to the fact that he had no idea what he was suddenly capable of - and he no longer had any clue of who he was. He needed time.[break][break]
>> After three years of this charade of moving from town to town every few months, his Espeon finally had enough and brought forth an old letter, one which sparked memories from nowhere - a letter from Nat. Swallowing his pride, he understood what she wanted - he couldn't continue to live his life this way, he needed someone, he needed help. Nat was always a voice of reason, and he had no way of knowing if Eun was still alive or not. Besides, if Eun was still alive, he was positive Nat would know and would tell him.[break][break]
>> So in turn, he went back to his hometown, going straight to her home - only to be welcomed with the most feminine scream he'd ever heard, followed by the man fainting shortly after - a reasonable reaction, he supposed, to seeing someone they once thought dead. Once he was able to wake Ren, he found that shortly after his death, Nat had moved to Lyeant.[break][break]
>> He too would head to Lyeant - why not, after all. A region he'd never been to, a new beginning... it all seemed charming. Plus, Natalia was there - if he could find her, perhaps he could help him regain semblance of who he once was. Thanking Ren, he set out without a second thought or a glance over his shoulder.[break][break]
>> It didn't take long for him to settle into Lyeant, making a home for himself and opening a cafe dedicated to one of his favorite things, felines. A pokecat cafe, where people could come and eat and drink and relax around some of the sweetest feline pokemon he'd managed to gather over the years - and always welcoming more, he would add.[break][break]
>> However, over the course of the following two years, there had been no luck in finding Natalia, much to his dismay - but he never gave up, sticking mostly to himself and his pokemon... and the few, eccentric workers he'd hired over the years at his cafe. Even without help, he slowly began to find himself - rediscovering the old and discovering the new. It was almost as if he'd become someone new - other than the sudden legendary being dwelling within.[break][break]
>> He was content as things were, and if his life continued this way, even without ever knowing if Eun was alive or not, or where Natalia may be - he'd be pleased to live out his years as such. Even if the thought would alwas haunt him, somewhere deep within his mind.[break][break]
I've been left out alone like a damn criminal[break]
I've been praying for help cause I can't take it all
>> A family, happy at the time, had a child - of whom they named Oliver. They had a stable life - a nice home, well paying jobs, everything seemed good. The child had good conditions to grow up in. [break][break]
>> Thing is, good things rarely last. At the age of six, his father found his mother having an affair with another man, effectively breaking their image of the perfect family in half. Cooking, cleaning, laundry - he always thought of it as he took care of himself. [break][break]
>> And with that mindset, also came the idea of rebelling. At a young age, Oliver found himself not quite fitting in - rather, fights were more common. His father found himself too busy to be able to intervene and attempt to set his child straight - which left Oliver to his own devices.[break][break]
>> There was, however, one child who Oliver found himself getting along with, a girl a few years younger than he by the name of Natalia. A pair most odd, they would probably have never gotten along under normal circumstances. Cause your soul is on fire

>> At the age of 23, he left with her to go visit her cousin in Kanto, taking a plane for the vacation - sightseeing included. Neither of them could have guessed how drastically this decision would change both of their lives.[break][break]
In the blink of an eye[break]
I can see through your eyes
>> Time around him seemed to slow - the speed at which his body and the debris around him sank. With each, agonizingly slow second that passed, Oliver found it harder and harder to see - and what he saw next, he honestly thought he was hallucinating right before death.[break][break]
>> Two orbs, glowing a deep red through the darkness of the water - coming closer with great speed through the slowed motion of everything else - growing in size as they came closer. With them, a form became ever clearer, large and emanating great power - a dragon of legend. 'Dialga'... he wanted to say, yet when he open his lips, all that came out was a gasp as he began to choke.[break][break]
>> Warmth enveloped his mind in stark contrast from the chill of death clinging to his being, his vision fading away until there was nothing. He heard one thing before he lost himself, death taking him. 'you will live...'[break][break]
A shot in the dark[break]
What did they aim for when they missed your heart?
>> When he came to a few days later, he found himself resting in a cave, high in the mountains and well hidden - gasping for breath and freaking as his hands quickly roamed his body, searching for wounds - there was nothing to be found. He had died. He had died. How was he here? [break][break]

times were changing, eighteen years and fading. ain't a lot of time left to be a star. on an island, all alone and dying - walk upon the water, but you won't get far. dreams and visions tied into decisions. saw you on a postcard from the other side. hope and glitter, never feeling bitter. walk upon the water just to be your bride. don't tell me now that there is nothing more. there is a how, just like there is a door. and if there's not to be another way, you tell me why, why, why.
[break][break]
stay and follow if the words are hollow. gotta go along 'cause it's all you got. each day, earn them. turn around and burn them. think you're fitting in, but you hope you're not. neatly drowning. every drink, you're downing. if you drink enough, you'll forget the game. each illusion wrapped in absolution. live your life in weekends, but it's not the same. don't tell me now that there is nothing more. there is a how, just like there is a door. and if there's not to be another way, you tell me why, why, why, why.

stay and follow if the words are hollow. gotta go along 'cause it's all you got. each day, earn them. turn around and burn them. think you're fitting in, but you hope you're not. neatly drowning. every drink, you're downing. if you drink enough, you'll forget the game. each illusion wrapped in absolution. live your life in weekends, but it's not the same. don't tell me now that there is nothing more. there is a how, just like there is a door. and if there's not to be another way, you tell me why, why, why, why.
