island guardian

They worship you. These humans see you as a Guardian an savior to them and you don't understand why. All you wanted to do was battle powerful opponents with your full strength, not protect these people. Yet here you were with a newly-build temple in your honor. Your hang around the temple a lot against your best judgement to see just what exactly was going on there. Many of the nearby villagers flock there to pay their respects to you but you can't figure out why. You were no Guardian. You were no protector.[break][break]

Across the four islands of the place known as Alola, there were three others like you. Lele, Fini and Bulu were their names but you have no interest in meeting with them. They seemed weak and useless, so much so that it made you wonder why they were Guardians of their islands anyway. You had been planning to challenge the three to a battle when something appeared and began threatening Alola. You did not take kindly to others messing up your plans.[break][break]

beasts

You didn't know what they were, but they were threatening to ruin what you had. So you fought against them as hard as you could, these mysterious beasts from beyond the stars. They were powerful, even with Lele, Fini and Bulu taking on the others. One was difficult to take down but you love every second of it. Fighting such a powerful opponent was what you had always wanted to do and the beast did not disappoint. [break][break]

The 'Kahuna' of the island you lived on fought alongside you. A mysterious one, but powerful. You could feel it. So you let the 'Kahuna' command you and assist in the fight against the beast. The battle proceeded to continue for hours with you joy increasing every second. But eventually everything ends and the beast retreated back to it's world. Much to your disappointment. The 'Kahuna' parted ways with you but claimed that you would be honored. A tall order, but you let it slide and acknowledged the human's power.[break][break]

festival

Generations would pass and you temple became a ruin. Still sacred to the people but so ancient that it could no longer be called a temple. You didn't mind since it meant you could now live there without interruption. But once every year those in the town of Iku would hold a battle competition. A festival to honor you they call it. It was amusing to watch all the humans battle to win your favor, but none of them ever live to your expectations. So you never showed yourself to any of them.[break][break]

It quickly became a tradition for you to visit the battlefield during the festival. If you were ever seen, said person would always keep quiet and pretend that they never saw you. Some you gave a chance to prove themselves in battle against you but everyone would fail. You were just too strong. Very soon everything just became boring and you stopped visiting the Festival entirely. There was no point int doing so anymore you thought.[break][break]

revival

You found a way out. A child approached you wanting to become stronger through any means necessary, so you took over his body. You became human in order to travel the world and seek out stronger opponents. But first you needed Pokemon like you had once been. It didn't take long for you to form a powerhouse group that you took extreme pride in. They understood who you were, even if humans didn't. They respected you and in return you respected them.[break][break]

The region of Lyeant was a mystery to you. You could see that there had been conflict and that called to you. There was always a good fight to be had when around a large-scale conflict. So you traveled there and began to create your own reputation there. The 'Pokemon Association' recruited you into their fold. The truth was that you felt akin to the republic but there were much stronger trainers in the Association for you to fight and you did. You would challenge them often. It was that which earned you a reputation as an annoyance to everyone around you. But you just saw it as a way to enjoy yourself.
