'Likable' would be the last word that comes to mind when the subject is Alexa. The 'woman' is inquisitive to the point that personal space is a right she'd steal from you without giving her actions a second's forethought. Her curiosity has in-fact taken a physical embodiment in the form of her cameras. her arsenal of these devices attempt to point and capture every moment that piques her interest. You may reprimand her for her invasive nature; but Alexa seems unrelenting and determined -- for in the end -- 'she' is the Pokemon of willpower. [break][break]
Despite having adjusted well into the human world for years now, Azelf's blithe nature has yet to be exiled from the vessel it nests within. Keeping that in mind, the woman may find humor in the most bizarre of moments and perhaps comes off as eccentric at times. Regardless, 'she' is social enough to break the ice with strangers. Friend or foe, traumatic incidents in the past have left the Pokemon to be paranoid of both friend or foe, and thus can be accusative even.
[break][break]
While Alexa is casual on most occasions, she does have a serious side to her. With a thirst for knowledge and an eager mind to learn, the woman has turned out to be rather scholarly. Thus, at times, she can hold a serious conversation and be insightful of a situation. Deeper and meaningful conversations are something Azelf enjoys and habitually comes off as encouraging when it comes to the matter of proving one's mettle.
[break] [break]
Surviving the test of time hasn't left the Pokémon without scars of its own. The flow of time has indeed taken a toil on Azelf, for she is bitter and not above being judgemental to those she deems to be inferior. To engage in violent confrontations however, are encounters she rather evade for as long as possible. Nevertheless, determined as ever to defend her world and what she holds sacred, Azelf will fight and adamantly refuse to concede until both its vessel and itself have been broken.

Time was an aspect of life I never was able to grasp. Ever since the beginning, since these eyes opened to take in the world around me, did I watch this anomaly called time consume life around me. I saw the word around me change; from the death of those friends I held beloved to how the earth shifted to create and destroy. I came to loathe time itself, for it never affected me yet managed to take away what I held dear. I despised it. Despised it until I realized that time was to remain forever. Just like me. And thus, I came to accept it.
As days passed by, alone in my cavern I remained. As a Lake Guardian, I had but one role until the end of time; to protect the lake and be the keeper of its secrets. Dour as it may seem, I took solace in the many companions that gathered about my lake. I knew well that the happiness we shared would end soon. Alas, I cared not. As time flowed, I remained stoic and emotionless in its face - - apathetic to its whims as it claimed my friends time after time. Because in the end, I knew I was powerless. Only a witness to its power.
Time had always brought about surprises. One such would be the two-legged creature. They looked different, they spoke another language and they sought to enter my terrain. These entities, 'humans' as they'd come to be termed were a curious bunch. I only assumed they were another product of time's flow; one such as my friends from the past that now ceased to exist entirely. But it seemed Arceus had other plans for these beings. For while the earth shifted, the lileeps ceased to bloom and the gods that rules the earth fell into slumber, these beings continued to walk the earth.
[break][break]
Until the day came that they ruled it.
I'd watch curiously as they tilled the land and sowed the seeds of civilization. I watched as massive structures were created and dotted the landscape. I watched as my friends lost their homes, and soon their freedom for they'd be entrapped and forced to obey. I witnessed how humans would create and destroy - - burn down the forests and molded iron to fly as if twas latias herself. And when these eyes witnessed the atrocities man committed, and despite every instinct urged me to fight and defend - - I fled. That was when I chose to fall into slumber in the cavern below the lake. My spirit continued to guard the lake and curiously look beyond my territory to see what time had to offer.
[break][break]
And that was when I faltered.
Time continued to flow and I remained in slumber. Perhaps eternal if peace were to remain. But perhaps not, for the day came eventually. The day came when I was rudely awoken by a blast. The cavern rattled and by the time I had to realize what had happened, twas too late. Eyes flickered open to only witness the destruction caused by man. Lake Valor that had provided sustenance for eons had now ceased to flow. Who was I to blame? Humans? Or mayhaps thyself for I failed as Guardian of the lake. It wasn't long after that I was entrapped by a group of men who's intentions were all but pure. The gems I held sacred seized from me. And for what? To resurrect the entity that guarded time itself.
Dialga took form and all heck was to break loose. That is, until our savior came. Humans, younger ones, that intervene and saved the flow of time.
I was shaken. Despite being returned to my domain, resentment grew within me. Humans were creatures of the dark, their hearts corrupted with lust for power. At least, that was what I wanted to believe. It's ironic how time can heal just as much as it can destroy. For my hatred for mankind softened because of those children.Their intentions seemed pure and unadulterated. I was confused. What had the world turned to? Where these two-legged creatures truly the harbinger of evil? Or were they different - - creatures born with an unbreakable will to choose their own part. To make their own choice. I knew not.But I wanted to know more. As my thirst for knowledge grew, I become restless. I wanted to venture there. But how? That was when I'd meet her.
Her name was Alexa. She was a regular visitor of the lake; was an odd one, this girl. Eyes that each spoke a different hue as she'd hold a peculiar device before her. 'Snap!' The shutter would sound, capturing my being eternally on a piece of parchment. I was perplexed and astounded by the power she held around her neck. We grew closer despite my distrust of the two-legged being. But she was relentless. She'd talk to me as if we were friends. Her mettle to endure as she grew from a child to the woman took me aback. She'd show me 'photographs' of the world. Where she went, what she saw. It was fascinating and I was eager to know more. To learn more.
However, as time passed - - as she grew would I realize that Alexa would soon be another casualty of time itself. But... What if I could stop that? What if Alexa could live? What if...
[break][break]
I took over?
On her 20th birthday, the day she came to celebrate with me would I make the decision. The girl needn't fall victim to time no longer. And so, I did her a favor. For herself and I. I'd take over her body with her soul put to rest. She'd live with and alongside me. With my spirit now housed within the woman, I'd venture out and away from Valor after bidding it goodbye. To blend with the humans was a stuggle at first, but I was determined to learn their ways; from stumbling of these sticks called legs, to learning how to dabble with the device she called a camera. At times, of course, I faltered. I'd forget and levitate from time to time. Or mayhaps use my powers such as (at least what humans called), 'Confusion' and 'Extrasensory'.
[break][break]
But I learned to control myself. And I'd continue to learn for as long as I'd be allowed to nest in this chaotic paradise.
Years passed. I know not whether Alexa even exists. But I can't say I worry for her. I no longer reside in Sinnoh and traveling has become but a norm. Thus soon would I come to reside in Lyeant. The land seemed to be brimming potential and I was eager to learn more, that is, until Team Imum rose, their atrocities causing the region to fall at their hands. I'd merely be a spectator behind the lens of my camera, merely snapping away for the media whilst repressing those memories that threatened to plague my mind.
THE BEGINNING
Time was an aspect of life I never was able to grasp. Ever since the beginning, since these eyes opened to take in the world around me, did I watch this anomaly called time consume life around me. I saw the word around me change; from the death of those friends I held beloved to how the earth shifted to create and destroy. I came to loathe time itself, for it never affected me yet managed to take away what I held dear. I despised it. Despised it until I realized that time was to remain forever. Just like me. And thus, I came to accept it.
THE FLOW
As days passed by, alone in my cavern I remained. As a Lake Guardian, I had but one role until the end of time; to protect the lake and be the keeper of its secrets. Dour as it may seem, I took solace in the many companions that gathered about my lake. I knew well that the happiness we shared would end soon. Alas, I cared not. As time flowed, I remained stoic and emotionless in its face - - apathetic to its whims as it claimed my friends time after time. Because in the end, I knew I was powerless. Only a witness to its power.
THE MYSTERY
Time had always brought about surprises. One such would be the two-legged creature. They looked different, they spoke another language and they sought to enter my terrain. These entities, 'humans' as they'd come to be termed were a curious bunch. I only assumed they were another product of time's flow; one such as my friends from the past that now ceased to exist entirely. But it seemed Arceus had other plans for these beings.
