about || Valeriya Yuna, known to her friends and fans affectionately as "Val", is one of the undisputed queens of Lyeant figure skating- or, indeed, of women's figure skating as a whole. Known for her powerful jumps and her constant climbing further towards the top, Val is a celebrity, in some ways- to the segment of the world that actually cares about figure skating, at least. She's got ambition deep in her heart, ever since she came out of small Snowpoint City to find her own way. Of course, she's also rather well known for her rival, Rena Akuma, and her performance values constantly need work. There's a drive, though, in this small frame- perhaps she'll be one of the first ladies to land a quad in competition? Or perhaps, after willingly and publicly siding with Parallax, her public position of fame will be put to another use? One thing's for certain- with this one, there's never such thing as "enough".

friends || Val can come across as rather abrasive, once she gets of the ice. In her mind, she's mostly better than you- that, or you're another obstacle to overcome. That being said, details like her close relationship with a few of her Pokemon reveal that Val honestly isn't as bad as she comes across, once she takes a liking to a person. Once she takes a liking to someone, she's still constantly trying to beat them- but she's also acknowledging them as an equal, and perhaps someone to befriend. Once she truly befriends someone, she reveals- she can rely on other people, just a little, to propel her further. She's just got to stand on her own first, you hear?

enemies || Someone as successful as Val is bound to make a few enemies. Some of these will be people she's insulted, because honestly Val can be kind of insulting. Some will just be people she's beaten. Val sees one way to crush her enemies, though- just be better than them. You aren't worthy as an enemy if she can beat you, after all- and if she manages to respect you? Well then. You might not be so much of an "enemy" after all. Why? Because Val's truest enemies, she refuses to acknowledge at all. Once you've reached that point, there's no return, though. She'll just use her hatred and anger to propel her further towards the success she's always chasing.

lovers || Val's not the type to think about romance often, but when it hits her, it hits her fast and it hits her hard. It would need to be someone she fully respected, of course, and then one day it would just hit her- shit. She's been in love for a while now, hasn't she? After that- well, her behavior won't change much. She'll still always be chasing, striving. But in the end... maybe she'd be more content if you were right there, too?
