While not one to typically strike up a conversation with others, Whitley is for the most part receptive to interacting with someone, provided their approach is mild. Should someone attempt to try and "force" her to interact (e.g., ambush her) chances are she'll flee or flail about. Furthermore, Whitley will avoid them until they are able to regain her trust. As someone's friend, she'll treat them with kindness and respect, she'll be loyal, and she won't berate them for anything she disagrees with (unless it can be potentially harmful to them or someone else, especially Pokémon). Those who become close friends are people she trusts enough to disclose her secrets with. [break] [attr="class","sub_daisy"] lovers [attr="class","daisysub_text"] The concept of being in a relationship with someone rarely surfaces in Whitley's thoughts. While she wouldn't be against the idea of dating someone, the other person would likely have to approach her and be someone she's already friends with. (Of course, the person in question would need to be able to deal with her sudden and extreme mood swings.) Falling in love with someone is much more difficult for Whitley. Her ability to get flustered easily and become all blushy-faced makes it difficult to gauge how she really feels about someone, even for her. To fall for someone, she has to forge a bond with them. Thus, time and patience are imperative if someone wishes to sustain a long-lasting relationship with Whitley. Although she has reservations about those who confine Pokémon in Poké Balls and use other forms of technology that N and Team Plasma disapproved of, she does not discriminate against them for doing so unless the Pokémon are in pain. She also has averse feelings toward Parallax; however, she won't necessarily dislike someone aligned with them unless they give her reason to. Of course, she's bound to have others treat her as an enemy due to her affiliation with the Republic, and she's aware there may be people who disliked her for being in Team Plasma or will dislike her should they find out. (Of course, Whitley takes great care in revealing her history with Team Plasma, so it's unlikely the latter scenario will happen.) |
