lol it occurred to me that taking over new veherna would be THE major source of new refugees who hate them and everything they stand for, you know, kinda for coming in and taking everything over by force. gg @republic. anyway i think it's important to highlight that the republic is largely a sort of decentralised group, it's perfectly natural for their to be internal clashes and inconsistencies with how they run things! it's not at all as monolithic as the other two groups!! :> but more practically and to the point, i think it would prioritise figuring out the following: 1) a basic structure: how groups and individuals operate with one another and 2) specific actions/missions that we could thread out! we've already covered the first exhaustively so i won't elaborate too much on that, but i do think their might be value in having unofficial coordinators keeping the ideology on track?! anyway, the latter question is typically split between offensive and espionage themed missions, but i think we could add public relations (the crown covers this nicely imo??, also HARPER THORNE , if you're around!!), extraction of people and items as mentioned earlier, maybe even diplomacy with other factions, combat training for new and young recruits, etc etc. the point is there are a wide range of things that we could do here. literally anything that appeals to you/your character! uhhh specifically for mercer... he's a bit slippery but versatile, and well-suited for anything that doesn't require him to pretend to be a nice and respectable person for too long lmao! he's not exactly strictly speaking high-ranking, but i imagine he's "notorious" in certain circles. so if anyone republic feels like threading with me and beating up some npcs together (or other people's chars, with their consent ofc!) give me a yell?!?! also xander cromwell , i'm gonna hit you up on discord later when i finally make my association character who is an authoritarian bitch and wants to crush republic people tbh but i love everything you suggested?? someone please make the spy child! <3

So... I realize I'm coming in a little bit late to this party and that I'm a completely new member who's just dropping information or characters or whatever I decide to put down here, but hello friends I'm Avian~! I have Liam's bio up, but he's not accepted yet so there you go, but anyway, moving on. I am SUPER intrigued by this plot, like, super intrigued. It's been awhile since I've been on a war tension specific rp site, but I'm already so excited. Especially with the espionage idea, and in fact have a character that I've created on one of Leap's sites before this who was a creator of a spy group. i love the idea about espionage? because i was considering having xander organize an assc-based spy group? little birdies will tell him secrets, because he's got to get to the throne sOME HOW OK i mean this isn't game of thrones what eye emoji. no, but in all seriousness, i would love to set up a subplot for association spies that have clearances to travel freely and set up shop in opposing faction work spaces and what not. who is here for making a kid char that is legit stealing information from the people taking care of them? fun emirate? I almost nearly said I would take the child, because that seems like so much fun, but I also have the character that I mentioned above who would totally work with you xander cromwell on creating an association based spy group. He'd likely even be able to pass off as a supporter of Parallax if interested. Idk, I'm just sort of throwing stuff out here now. xD Just thought I'd join the party since I'm new and love this kinda stuff, and this is the best way to start plotting. But anyway, Elliot is a bit ruthless, and if I'm going to bring him over I'm going to have to change some of Liam's core team because I kinda stole a couple of his precious pokemon from him. this is now fixed. x3 So... Don't mind me, I kind of just stole the child spy.
But yes yes, plots please. Once I'm done making Mary, she's just going to be one hell of a cinnamon bun spy <3-- Or not like I'm still trying to figure out her character LOL. But yeah. I'm probs going to throw her into this plot on the Association side so don't mind meeee
