[break][break]
Chivalrous
[break]
Wally was raised to be a gentleman. "So you can get a good wife someday," as his aunt would say. Wally is the kind of person who will stand and hold the door open for a whole family before he enters the building himself. He's always willing to compliment another - albeit he may be a tad embarrassed to do so - but he will, and it will be one-hundred percent genuine. If you drop something, Wally will pick it up for you before you can even register you dropped it. He says his please's, thank yous, and god bless yous.
[break][break]
Courageous
[break]
His courage is something he's been working on ever since he managed to catch his first Pokemon. Wally has developed from a timid young boy into a brave gentleman, who will always have his friends' backs: both human and Pokemon alike. His courage goes hand-in-hand with his chivalry. If he catches someone being rude to someone else, he'll do his best to stand up for them. If there's anything Wally can't stand: it's someone being singled out. While Wally may not look like an intimidating figure, don't be fooled. He'll use big words and a powerful vocabulary to make the biggest of bullies look like an idiot.
[break][break]
Patience
[break]
If there's anything Wally has learned through his years of being a Pokemon trainer: it's patience. Does anyone know how hard it is to raise a Ralts? Wally does. Getting his partner in crime to reach his fullest potential was certainly a struggle, but one that Wally has overcome. Twice, in fact, since he also raised his Gardevoir. Wally isn't scared to wait. He'll stand in a line for ten years to get that Lumiose Galette if that's what it took.
[break][break]
Observant
[break]
While he's not observant in the aspect that he will notice and point out a blemish on someone's face, he is quite capable of reading emotions. He's very good at picking up on body language cues such as twitching or tapping the fingers/hands, eye movement, and kinesics in general. Wally will almost immediately be able to tell when someone is feeling a particular emotion, whether they flat-out tell him or not. His aunt and uncle often tried to hide how they felt about their sick nephew, so Wally had to pick up on body language cues in order to figure out their real feelings on something.
[break][break]
Loyal
[break]
Loyalty is something that Wally takes very seriously. He would never do anything to stab one of his friends in the back. He is totally selfless for his close companions and wouldn't expect anything in return except their own trust in him. If he found out he had been betrayed, Wally may never forgive that person. Okay, well, that's not entirely true. Being the cute cinnamon roll that he is, he totally would. But he wouldn't trust them or look at them ever the same.
[break][break]
Worrisome
[break]
Wally's biggest flaw is his innate ability to worry about everything. He worries over his own health, the health of his Pokemon, his friends, what he's going to eat the following morning for breakfast - if you can name it, Wally will find some way to worry over it. While it can be a little annoying to deal with sometimes, just remember that Wally only has your well-being in mind.
[break][break]
Overemotional
[break]
This sort of ties in nicely with Wally's capability to worry. He can, and often times will, overreact to particular situations in very emotional mannerisms. He cries at times that may be considered inappropriate just like when he laughs. He can blow certain situations out of proportion, such as feeling like everyone hates him, when in reality they were just trying to tell him his shoe was untied.
[break][break]
Gullible
[break]
Unfortunately for Wally, he can be incredibly Gullible. If you tell him he has the black plague, he'd probably accept it and freak out. If you told him he had suddenly grown a clown nose: he would run to a mirror to check to see if it was there. The poor lad struggles to decipher sarcasm at times and can take everything quite literally - often times leading to a Wally shedding tears of shame.
[break][break]
Clingy
[break]
If Wally is your friend, he may come off as incredibly overbearing and overprotective. He may constantly ask you how you are or where you are. He may hover closer to you in more populated areas - possibly going as far as holding your arm or hand. But he doesn't do this to be that annoying 'I don't trust you' friend. Wally does these things because he's concerned for his friend's well being. He refuses to lose anyone important to him and probably wouldn't be able to forgive himself if something did happen to his friend(s) while he was with them. Calling him out on being clingy may result in a defensive response simply because he won't want to admit it.
[break][break]
Insomniac
[break]
Wally has a bad habit of staying awake during odd hours of the week. He rarely sleeps, partially because his horrible asthma would often leave him coughing into the late hours of the night. He never could figure out why - maybe he reached a point where he was to exhausted to even sleep - but this has now made a large impact on him as an adult. Sleep is something he struggles to get. Even with his psychic Pokemon's help, he may only be able to fall asleep for a few hours before he wakes up. It's not really that big of a problem, but he often finds himself lost in the dark places of his mind when he stays awake for too long.

Meet Wally Bangle. A Pokemon trainer who didn't exactly get his career as a trainer handed to him like most beginners do. Unfortunately for Wally, he was born with a severe case of asthma that often leaves him struggling to breath after horrible coughing fits. For awhile, Wally was forced to stay indoors unless he had parent supervision. Something that, despite the doctor's orders, his parents forced Wally to do. They were fearful that as soon as they let Wally out unsupervised, that something horrible was going to happen to him. Despite the fact Wally carried an inhaler with him and was quite the responsible young lad.
[break][break]
After plenty of coaxing, Wally finally convinced his parents that he could go outside alone. The freedom was short-lived however, after Wally had a very serious coughing fit, his parents decided to send him to Verdanturf Town to live with his aunt and uncle. Supposedly, the air was fresher as it was a little more in the country than Petalburg. Before leaving, however, Wally tried speaking with the gym leader in order to obtain his very own Pokemon. A companion, Wally though, that could become his new friend: someone who could help him whenever he was having struggles with his illness.
[break][break]
With some help from Norman and Norman's child, Wally managed to catch himself his very first Pokemon - a male Ralts. Wally goes, a little hesitantly, with his Uncle to his temporary new home. Whilst in Verdanturf, Wally trains with his Ralts - battling nearby neighbors and wild Pokemon so he can strengthen his partner. When Wally and his Uncle were visiting Mauville, he challenged the gym leader and lost. But that only inspired young Wally to do better.
[break][break]
Wally ran away from home, battling, growing, and becoming stronger as he explored the Hoenn Region, beating gym leader after gym leader. He made it through Victory Road, only to be defeated by the future Pokemon Champion. Nevertheless - Wally continued to become stronger. He traveled to other regions, readjusted his team, made new friends, and seeks to spread the awareness that everyone can be a Pokemon trainer.
