TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

Well, this was a bit awkward. As usual it would appear that Naomi had decided it was time to set Sasha up on yet another blind date, something he was already getting used to after having known the woman for a while now. Still, every time it always felt so strange to be just meeting up with some new, random man or woman. Sasha was sitting at a small table outdoors on a patio at a little cafe as the sun glared from above, casting a warm feeling on the area. One thing Sasha enjoyed was being in this warmer weather, as it was something he grew up knowing, the warmth that is. So he enjoyed this climate, where it usually kept reasonably warmed up.
Sasha had a menu set to the side and was just sipping at some water. While he most certainly felt the tug of hunger, he wanted to be polite and wait until the candidate for the blind date arrived. He had decided to dress up at least okay, but still clothing that was reasonably casual too as this wasn't anything major or big. For Sasha, it was more of a meetup than anything else, honestly. While he didn't mind the prospect of a lifelong partner, he wasn't exactly out for one full force. So he'd take him time and just go along with Naomi's antics.
Atop his head he had a little sleeping bird. Ahavi was nestled up and looking quite content, his eyes closed as he soaked up the sun. The little Swablu had been with Sasha for years now and the two shared a close bond, especially with how Sasha was an Altaria Gijinka, he just felt that special connection to the Swablu line. He smiled to himself, sitting back and letting the sun warm him up, his own eyes closing slightly just to take it all in.

he doesn't know what to think of this, nor does she know how exactly she should respond. A few days prior, Vivian had been marking and grading a couple of papers of her own for her class' recent test, along with a few projects and the like. Seeing them reminded her of how tiring high school was, however also seeing them talk and enjoy themselves admittedly made the young teacher envious of the younger students. There was very little time for her to talk to anyone - assuming she wanted to talk to someone back then to begin with. But it's okay. She was fine with this lifestyle; she was fine with being alone for the most part - especially with how she was already pretty attached to someone else in the end. She'd be fine, she told herself. She'd be fine, and she often tells her younger sister the same words.
Unfortunately, said sister thinks otherwise.
Which is why she was posed against such a conundrum. Her younger sister apparently made a new friend the other day; one of which was.. Certainly an interesting character. Frankly she.. Didn't quite know what to think of her. Rambunctious attitude, nearly obnoxious screaming and an overall too-lively-for-her-own-good attitude. The exact opposite of herself, which is why it nearly put her off first time around. The woman burst into her apartment with her sister, and the two of them dragged her out to do some sort of shopping. And though Vivian was wholeheartedly against it, it'd be a lie of her to say there were a few things she didn't want here and there. Unfortunately, frugal as she was, she chose not to buy anything and Naomi ended up buying her the clothing. So the guilt was there. The underlying, subtle guilt was making her stomach fill with butterflies. That being said, Naomi used that guilt tripping to convince her to wear a dress of all things to a blind date. A blind date; and she could barely believe it when she heard it.
But no matter her protests, the Fennekin Gijinka seemed more intent on bringing the Delcatty out in the day, even if she'd rather sleep throughout the majority. But seeing how she was already feeling bad.. She couldn't exactly turn down the date. Imagine her surprise when she finds out that the girl already set it all up without her consent or prior knowledge, and now she finds herself trying to scramble over to the cafe that was supposedly where her date was awaiting for her. "... I swear in the name of all things holy.." She starts with her tongue clicking the roof of her mouth, gradually quickening her pace of to the entrace of the cafe. She.. MIght as well get it over with. Hopefully they wouldn't be a bad person--.. N-Not that she doubted Naomi, or anything. Erk.. It was just.. She didn't want them to feel bad. Because.. Maybe they would get mad, and think that she was a waste of time and.. Well.. She knew how awkward she could be. That much was a fact; and frankly, it always made her feel guilt Now she's over here, praying that the guy wouldn't.. Hate her, or anything of the sort.
Only because she didn't want to be a waste of time.
So for the first time in.. Years, Vivian was actually wearing a skirt along with a blouse herself. She was wearing something less than formal, more casual without a care in the world. But even then, the two-toned woman could feel the breeze blow against her bare legs, which prompted her to slowly fiddle with her wavy hair. Though she was maintaining a fairly stoic expression, she, again, could feel the butterfree in her stomach. She slowly enters the cafe herself, glancing around and about within the actual establishment. Erk.. It didn't look like there was anyone in here that fit the description. According to Naomi, he was.. Fluffy. Fluffy wasn't exactly the best description she can go off, and she didn't think that she could find someone who was fluff--
.. A man with a swablu. She could practically see the fluff on him, and it's now where Naomi's words were actually making sense.
And for a moment, the woman's feline ears pin downwards, twitching the slightest bit was her tail smoothly sways behind her. There is the faint clicking of her heels, slowly approaching the table until she taps her nails against the surface in front of him. "... Excuse me?" She chirps up the slightest bit. Hopefully, she wasn't disturbing him. She.. Erk.. Again, she wouldn't want him to feel like he was wasting his time. But then.. Again, she didn't know how she should act. The composed woman's mind was drawing a blank; because she didn't know how to.. Even start. "Ahem.." She clears her throat, golden eyes turning to look upwards to the relaxed man. "My name is Vivian; Vivian Nguyen. I'm.. Assuming you're the man Naomi talked about?" And now she doesn't know what to say, nor does she know how to start. Out of pure instinct, the woman slowly begins to twirl around a lock of blonde hair between her fingers. ".. Did I keep you waiting for too long?"

Sasha had been lulling into a very light sleep for a moment, up until some motion and sound caught his attention and he opened his eyes up to see a woman. She introduced herself right off the bat and had asked if he was the one Naomi spoke of. At the mentioned name he sat up more and nodded in confirmation. "Ah, yes, that's me. I'm Sasha Belinsky, pleased to meet you." He said, offering his hand and giving a small, but friendly and inviting smile. Always good to make a first impression, especially when someone could quite possibly end up a good friend in the future.
"So I see Naomi decided to 'help you out' as well..." He commented with a soft laugh. "She's... Interesting, but definitely not a bad person I'd say. Just a little high strung." He commented, seeing if a familiar topic could maybe break the ice a little more. "Oh, and feel free to have a seat. I wasn't waiting too long, but I've certainly worked up a bit of an appetite." He mentioned in slight humor. He reached over, picking up his menu and then offered it to Vivian, in case she was interested in seeing what the establishment had to offer, considering he already had pretty much picked out what he'd be getting. It may seem a bit cheesy, but he did enjoy a good fruit parfait from time to time, so that was his go-to for this little place when he was feeling indecisive.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you do for work?" He asked the woman suddenly, curious about it. Was always interesting to learn what types of professions others had, especially in this day and age. And, considering she clearly was a Gijinka, sometimes places didn't seem to accept them as easily. Sasha had found it quite hard to get a job before the flower shop had hired him, even.

oes she.. Know what she should be doing?
Perhaps not. Vivian quietly looked downwards to him, mulling over her own thoughts as she takes a deep sigh. "It's a pleasure." She responds. Her hand glides over to push against the chair across from him, pulling it outwards. After confirming his identity, the woman slowly nods her head with the ever-changing expression on her face. And with that, the woman reaches her hand across the table, more to gently grasp his hand in hers. With that, she tightens her grip to give a stronger, firmer shake. She just.. Hoped that she was doing this right. As she was thinking while approaching him and the cafe itself, the last thing she wanted was to be a bore. Granted.. That's what the majority of her previous, short-lived significant others seemed to complain about. That she was too.. Emotionless. Unexpressive, and then she was internally panicking because she didn't know how else she should react.
But this was just a blind date; even if it didn't end with sparks flying and chemistry boiling, it was never bad to meet more people. Hell, it actually got her out of her room if anything. Work-o-holic as she was, she couldn't deny that it was good to interact with people. That is.. Assuming they would.. Be willing to interact with her to begin with. Hence why Naomi thought that it would be a good idea to approach her and drag her out. While not her ideal circumstance, she did admit that it was pleasant to see another face; and by extension, it was even nicer to meet another gijinka. Especially with the discriminatory attitudes towards them. Erk.. It made her.. Feel less alone, so to say. Cruel as it was, it taught her that she wasn't the only one suffering from the dirty glare from humans, along with the unfair treatment - and to that, she was grateful.
In response to his observation, she could only offer a slight and simple nod of the head. "... Mmn. Naomi kept.. Pestering me that she found someone that I should meet, then she insisted that I wear.. This of all things." A quiet hum escapes her lips as she glances downwards to the skirt, gently beginning to fiddle with it between her fingers. "I agree, she isn't a bad person but.. I think bizarre would be a more appropriate word." And with that, she narrows her amber eyes to the side momentarily. It was in that moment where she nearly spaced off, but only because she.. Was trying to think of things to say. No, she wasn't good at talking to people. No, she wasn't good at communicating with others and no, she didn't know what she was supposed to do in a situation such as this. The woman could only quietly ponder before taking a deep breath.
Although she doesn't show or express it, she's relieved that she didn't leave him waiting for too long. It's always good to bond over a meal, even more so when they had something in between to just.. Take away from the awkward. That she would, inevitably, probably impose against the poor man. With that, the violet-hair woman reaches over to pluck the menu from his hand, giving a small nod of appreciation before turning it open. She briefly scans the images of their foods, first, before turning over to whatever lunch or meal they had to offer and-- ... Ah. They offered bubble tea. Call it a guilty pleasure of hers. Well.. There was that, and there wasn't anything that a bit of pastries couldn't fix; yet another guilty pleasure of hers. Taking her time to skim through the foods for a second time, the woman smiles softly from behind the menu before placing it back down gently.
Her feline ears perk up at his question, tail instinctively swaying behind as she registers his question. Mmn.. Her career? She.. Didn't think that she would be bringing her job into a discussion on a blind date of all things.. But to be fair, she's just about new to meeting people while on a date on the get go. Her lips part for a moment, trying to formulate her thoughts properly before adjusting her voice. "I work as a high school teacher." And it was a short answer, to the boot. Part of her felt bad though.. Because the odds are that she was.. Probably not going to be speaking even more. That being said, the woman slowly raises her gaze up to him, ears twitching for a brief moment as she takes a deep breath.
Compose yourself, Vivian.
"... And what do you do, if you don't mind me asking?"
... Was that a good way to respond? She.. Wasn't entirely sure. But hey, it was better than nothing.

Sasha watched the woman's movements and behavior, suggesting she wasn't exactly someone who was comfortable around people. Goodness, Naomi, what kind of trouble are you causing for people? He thought to himself, a bit exasperated by it. It wasn't that he didn't want to be there, but the poor woman didn't exactly look as if she was the type who would completely enjoy these sorts of activities. Sasha was pretty simplistic and while he wasn't opposed to social interaction, the big one was the types of people. He was a calmer sort, not someone who did wild that much, despite knowing Naomi. Still, he found her entertaining for sure.
Vivian mentioned she taught at a high school, getting a thoughtful nod from Sasha and he was then presented with the question as well. "I work as a manager in a small time flower shop." He told her with a small smile. "Nothing too out there, but I find it rewarding and it's nice and calm there usually." He mentioned to her. The flower shop was a much more serene place than other types of businesses, so he did very much enjoy having that type of setting. Again, he couldn't handle the wild life too often, so this was a major benefit to him.
At some point a waiter came by, asking for their orders. Sasha looked over to Vivian and nodded to indicate she could go ahead and order first. He wasn't really one to just take the reigns, so it felt a little more natural for him to offer others the chance to step forth and he followed after them. Yet it was interesting to meet with this woman, as she was definitely a sort of type he'd met before anyway.

he, unfortunately, doesn't seem to know to speak to him.. Properly. Though he expresses his occupation as a florist, she can only offer a petite nod in understanding and acknowledgement. However.. Flowers. Mmn.. She might drop by there at some point, especially because she had a small interest towards them. Vivian can only listen quietly before humming to herself, though this time, this was more in interest. "... Erm." She starts. Her eyes dart a tad in attempts to formulate her thoughts, amber eyes avert their gaze before returning to lock eye contact with the male. "... Could you tell me the name of the store? I've been trying to find flower shops as of late." Mainly because she had her own interest in floral life - especially with how the majority of her pokemon retained the scientific names of flowers for nicknames. Admittedly however, her pokemon.. Probably didn't exactly appreciate it?
That being said, she hoped that she could get some sort of plants that'll let her show her students. Even if she was a history and philosophy teacher, that doesn't stop her from her knack towards biology and plant studies. A rare smile creeps up on her face as she's mulling it over. "As long as you're happy with your job." So she says with a slightly more.. Lively chime, if anything. He seemed polite enough, so.. It wouldn't kill to open up, yes? The woman maintains her light gaze along with the faint smile - up until it fades just as quickly as it made itself apparent. "... Mmn. My students are often chatty little ones but.. I do enjoy my time with them." The violet haired woman quietly muses. Though she does retain that near stoic demeanour and the almost indifferent expression, there's the gentle lightening in her own tension and.. Less than approachable vibe.
Shortly after their brief conversation and small talk, a waiter made hi way over with a small note pad and a beaming smile. Initially, she glances upwards to take a look to Sasha; perhaps he wanted to order first? Ah.. Scratch that. He was looking towards her, and she was observant enough to take that as a hint. Amber hues trail down to the surface of the menu, skimming the contents momentarily before turning her head to look to the man. "Ah.. Bubble tea and.. Croissants, please." Her voice lowered at the later request, perhaps out of subtle embarrassment. You see, the girl was from Kalos. The typical 'french' region that was all.. Fancy and bright and nice. Although she usually didn't like to be placed under the stereotype in general, especially since she hasn't had a croissant in.. Years, actually. If it were up to her, she'd probably ask if she could package some for her sister later.
After taking her order and waiting for Sasha to finish, she takes a deep breath in attempts to start a conversation. Hopefully.. He wouldn't mind? "May I ask what region you're from?" And though she's asking without hesitation, the silence and lowering of her voice is more than enough to show she's not.. Very confident her ability to start small talk.

Sasha was asked about the name of the shop. "Oh, it's called the Street Corner Symphony Floral Design Store, kind of a mouthful but it's got a nice ring to it." He responded, giving a small chuckle. It was a homey place too. While it didn't have anything extremely out of this world, it was still nice. The arrangements held some beauty and definitely had nice aroma. Thanks to his Meganium too, the flowers were kept in some pristine shape.
Sasha nods at her words after, agreeing that if the job was something one loved, it was all there was to it. She brought up the kids and he ended up going off in thought for a bit. "Sometimes I kind of wonder if I'll ever get to have a child and watch them grow, go to school and thrive. Though I have a whole life ahead of me. No need to rush anything now~" He mentioned, smiling a bit at the idea though. Yet the biggest issue here was that Sasha really didn't have anyone at the time he could really think of that kind of thing with. Perhaps some day though, perhaps...
When Vivian put in her order he did the same, going with a fruit parfait and a bit of cheesecake since he was feeling a little needy today. Not like there was much wrong with it though, he did like a chance to give himself a little something sometimes. A cheesecake of course being a good bonus for sure. Then as soon as the waiter left he returned attention to Vivian.
"Oh, I guess it may sound rather ironic, but I come from Hoenn." He said, a soft laugh coming from him. Kind of funny seeing as he was an Altaria Gijinka after all. Meanwhile Ahavi was still on his head, the Swablu snoozing with the warm sun radiating down. He looked quite peaceful. "What about yourself?" He asked her, a bit curious himself now on where she happened to hail from.

"No, I think it's--" Cute. A flower shop was quaint, quiet. It was a pleasant area where she could usually find the plants that she needed. Some flowers were known for their aroma, while some were more notable for their meaning in flower language. Once again, the young woman offers a petite and small smile. Her body begins to lean back into the chair, supporting her body to stay upwards while humming to herself in a rare, casual manner. "It's a pleasant name, I think." Bright, amber eyes lift from the surface of the table to make eye contact with the man. "... Would you mind if I stopped by on occasions?" Her voice is quiet and meek, but it's laced with curious intent. She's always been fond of flora. She's always been attracted to their silent beauty above all. However she lowers her gaze shortly afterwords, trying to ponder over her words. "That is.. If you wouldn't mind my company?" The woman tilts her head slightly. With that, she lowers her hands to her lap. [break][break]
And with that, Vivian once again goes quiet. However this time, it was less in awkwardness and more to listen to his own musings. Mmn.. The thought about having children in the future was, admittedly, something that had crossed her mind when she was a child. Meet someone, fall in love and all that wonderful stuff. Truthfully, as a child, she thought that she too would be lucky enough to find someone. But as the days pass, she thinks to herself and can't exactly think it to be the truth. Her mind wanders a tad bit, before the image of a young man pops into mind. With that, the usual, near blank expression flushes that tiniest bit. Tiniest bit, but she quickly tries to brush it off before resuming to listen to his words. "... Mmn. There's not need to rush. But.." Vivian trails off the slightest bit, her eyes moving upwards to lock her gaze. "Do you happen to have someone in mind? You.. Don't seem to be the type of person to regularly attend these blind dates." [break][break]
And to be fair, she wasn't, either. But hey, here she was. [break][break]
She quietly hums as the image of Hoenn pops up into her mind. From what she's learned in school, Hoenn was a region where the vast majority was on water. you'd need Surf to get to a lot of places, but she could only imagine how cool the weather was in that region. She could only imagine just how much more nature there was in the port Region, which was the complete opposite in regards to the bustling Kalos she was so accustomed to. With that, the woman lowers her hands and has them rest in her lap. Fingers begin to fidget between the other, as though fumbling with words to formulate an answer. "... Kalos. I was born and raised in the Kalos Region." Her eyes turn up to the petite Swablu on her date, giving it a small smile. [break][break]
However as she was in that blissful peace, she hears the sudden click of her pokeball while a petite pokemon pulls themselves out. A Cinccino smiles brightly while waving her arms, upwards to the trainer "Ah.. Dianthus. It's rude to--" And then the Cincinno waddles on over to Sasha, gently pulling up at his pants with that cheerful smile on her face. "... Suddenly pop out in the middle of the conversation.." [break][break]
And in that moment, Vivian had a subtly disappointed frown pulling at her lips. "I'm.. Sorry about that. Dianthus is.. Significantly more keen on meeting new people."
I'm not looking for somebody with some superhuman gifts

Just something I can turn to, somebody I can miss

When asked on whether or not Vivian could visit the shop from time to time he didn't hesitate to give a small nod. "Of course. It is always open to the public, so you are more than welcome to swing by whenever you see fit." He told her with a confirming smile and a nod. "I usually have someone else I know stop by frequently just to visit and talk, so it isn't completely uncommon." He mentioned with a soft chuckle, thinking back to how his friend was always coming by for some reason. Usually, it seemed she was avoiding her work, though Sasha didn't exactly hold much against her. Not everybody was a slave to their job like he chose to be, after all.
Vivian went on at one point in response to Sasha's musings of having his own children. When asked about whether he had somebody in mind he had to mull it over a moment. Did he? "Mmm..." He started with softly, taking a moment to think this over. "I can't really say I do. While I have made a good handful of friends, I never have felt that sort of desire for anyone so far. Although I do hope perhaps at some point or another I may be able to find somebody that I could share my life with." He told her.
There was a sudden click and soon after a Pokemon appeared. A Cinccino, which wandered over and have a tug as Sasha's pants. "Hello there." Sasha said to the Pokemon in a cheerful tone as he looked down on the little Pokemon, before turning to Vivian again after hearing her apologize. "Oh, don't worry about it. I don't mind one bit." He reassured her with a smile. "Lovely Pokemon, by the way." He complimented.
At some point the waiter came by again and placed their orders in front of them, Sasha thanking them before picking a berry out with his fork and lifting it atop his head. "Ahavi, want some? It's your favorite." He told the sleeping Swablu, who suddenly snapped awake from his nap and upon noticing the berry he leaned forward a tad and plucked it gently off the fork. Sasha chuckled softly and then took a spoon, beginning on the yogurt and berry treat.
