Today was another day off so Gracie did her usual, taking a trip to the park with the Pokemon to let them breathe. Being stuck inside wasn't good for them so of course she had to get out at times to let them run, but especially so for the young Meela who was all over the place. The young Chimchar was by no means an indoorsy type of Pokemon unlike some of Gracie's team were. So seeing the little primate charge around and play with some of the more willing adults was always fun to watch, it just added a little excitement to her life for sure. This time though only Serenity and Blade were out, alongside Haku and Meela of course. It seemed that Striker and Frey felt like being a little more homey today, so the Pidgeot and the Luxray had decided to stay home.
Meela was running around with Serenity going after her in a game of tag, the Milotic always having been the most willing to play. Blade meanwhile was just lounging under a shady tree. While the sun was always nice and the weather was warm, sometimes a little cool shade felt good for the laid back Sceptile. Haku was on Gracie's shoulder as was typical. The Noctowl watching everything with a keen eye and from time to time speaking back and forth with Gracie through his telepathic communication. The owl acting as a sort of translator for the young author as needed, seeing as he could even communicate with other people.
Although in a sudden yet familiar twist of events, Meela was running off like the wind. Gracie got up and with her team she ran after the little primate, Meela making a beeline for someone nearby. Stopping right in front of a young woman with bright yellow hair she looked up, smiling, and gave a hello. Gracie, not far behind, pulled up and caught her breath as Haku's voice rang into the other woman's mind. "Please don't mind Meela, she just... Likes people. But we'll be taking her back now, and sorry for the disturbance." The masculine voice said as Gracie ushered for Meela to come. With a rather forlorn look at the other woman the little Chimchar eventually went back to Gracie.
