[attr="class","banglyric"]Oh, I go off like a gun
Like a loaded weapon
Bang, bang, bang
Grip me in your hands
Like a loaded weapon
Bang, bang, bang
Grip me in your hands
[attr="class","bangtext"]Delicate yet graceful as a lily floating on water, Merlin twirled about whilst clad in shawls and scarves that covered necessary parts of her body. With naked toes, she could feel even the tiniest vibrations in the earth, allowing her to avoid any slip-ups. Small silver bells attached to the silk jingled as she danced in front of intrigued eyes. Five-and-a-half pairs of them, anyway—
—for her "audience" was simply made up of her Pokémon.
This was completely intentional; she'd picked a secluded part of Eirenhyre to "perform". If she wished to continue dancing, she needed to continue practicing. Having others view her was another part of her recital, to prevent her from developing any kind of stage fright. Fortunately, her companions served as the perfect spectators. She trusted them not to cause any mischief—even her Zoroark, who was known for doing precisely that.
Once she finished, she executed one final pirouette, gracefully transitioning into a bow. "Thank you for your support, everyone!" she said, noting that her "stage voice" was pitch-perfect. After listening to the raucous cheers of her Pokémon, she recalled each and every one. They were such kind fans to her, but their applauding did more of a disservice to her. They always enjoyed her shows regardless if she was at the top of her game or had a bad day. She needed someone who could properly critique her—a stranger, preferably.
So what else did Merlin do but seek out someone who just happened to be passing near the spot she'd just performed in?
She made sure to choose carefully, considering the person's appearance, how they walked (did they appear to be in a hurry? did they seem shifty? et cetera), and whether they seemed to have the type of personality to assist her. After ten or so minutes, she locked onto someone who seemed to meet all her qualifications. With a congenial smile on her face, she made her way toward him, a bounce in her step. "Excuse me, Mister," She cupped her hands together as she waited for him to glance her way. "Would you care to see a dance?"
