Our next activity check is in the next couple of days, and as of tomorrow, I believe, the site has been open for two whole months. That's amazing, guys! With that much time under our belt, it's time to start planning for an overhaul of our aesthetic, because your head admin is good for nothing other than making too many characters and being a coding monkey. Unfortunately, while I am technically capable of coding a whole skin in two days, it's not a very fun experience, so the next skin likely won't be out until after our anniversary - probably after the activity check has already concluded, in fact! What this affords you all, however, is the time to get your say in about what you'd like to see on the upcoming skin.[break][break]

I'd like to note here that all suggestions provided here will be suggestions. I'll absolutely read them all and take them into consideration - and if they're something that's an objective improvement, heck yeah, I'll definitely do my best to include it - but not... everything can be done in one skin. Please don't be discouraged if something you ask for doesn't make the cut. If a lot of people seem interested in something that's not completely unpractical, it'll probably show up! If one person suggests something that's purely aesthetic and doesn't really line up well with everything else - well, that might get the get. Furthermore, if there are any issues you have with the current skin that you'd like to see removed in the next, please let me know![break][break]

Going in, what's set-in-stone is that the next skin will almost certainly be a light skin again - or, at least, one where the background of the text area is of a similar shade to this one now. If the demand is high enough, I may make a darker recolor of the same skin, but please note that that still takes quite a bit of time. Another thing is that the skin will probably be simpler, at least on the first page. I know there's been a bit of confusion about navigation in the past, and while I absolutely adore making things complicated and unique, a skin is only the dressing for the site; if there's too much, how are you supposed to see the lettuce underneath?[break][break]

If you could reply to this thread with suggestions you'd like to make, that would be amazing! Direct messaging works as well, but not recommended, largely because keeping everything in one place makes it easy to access and less likely for something to get forgotten in the final product. If you don't have anything to suggest, don't worry about thinking something up - if you DO have something to add, though, definitely let us know! Thanks in advance!
