truth be told, i'm not exactly what you think i am. i'm just trying to go along with the flow instead of fighting against it to be honest. i've been alive for awhile and i've never seen something as crazy as this. but no reason in trying to fight the tide instead of joining along in it. okay, i think i got a little ahead of myself but i don't know how to explain this to you without making it weird or confusing or rambilng. LET'S SLOW DANCE

A warm flame to keep him cozy during the cold winter nights and long fingers stroking his hair. His earliest memory was a sweet smile and cold eyes. Soft songs sung to him to lull him into sleep and comforting arms wrapped around him to keep the nightmares at bay. He didn't want much as a child. Growing and learning with the other creatures in the forest who were his family ever since he could remember. He climbed trees with the Aipom and ate Pecha Berries with Pikachu, sometimes he would follow behind a mother Kangaskhan or nap on the back of a Venusaur. [break][break]
He remembered the first time that he met her.[break][break]
Being chased by Beedrills after a dare to throw a stone at their home was executed. The other children, who she refused to call her friends, were much faster than her. He didn't say anything to begin with and watched as she evaded them. Eventually, the Beedrills made their way back to their home and the girl peered out from her hiding place which was a tree that he had been perched on. He scared her though it was on accident. Hanging upside down from a branch with a curious tilt of his head.[break][break]
"My name is Adam, what're you?"[break][break]
She looked like him and his family but different. He'd seen so many creatures in the forest but nothing like her. She tilted her head to the side and introduced herself as Evelyn.[break][break]
He led her back to the forest trail where her friends were waiting for her. She looked back almost expecting for him to follow but he refused.[break][break]
He never left the forest once in his entire life and even if she seemed harmless, something told him that it wasn't right.

She came back day after day. Saying that she told her friends about the boy in the forest and some of the adults called him Kid of the Wild. She followed the same path to the tree where they met and spoke to him until the sun fell to the horizon. He'd lead her back to the forest's edge and refuse to go with her. Time went by and he wanted to know more about her, to see her more often and found himself waiting for the sun to rise so he could see her again.

ON THE BOARDWALK OF LIFE

There was one night when Evelyn came to the forest to find Adam. She wanted to give him a scarf and a jacket that her mother procured for him. While searching, she found a family of Ninetails with Vulpix snoozing near a roaring fire. One of the Ninetails noticed her and growled menancingly which roused the Vulpix from their sleep. Before her very eyes, one of the Vulpix transformed into a familiar little boy with blonde hair and green eyes.[break][break]
"Eve?"

She was afraid. He could see it and one by one, his family returned to their den and gave the pair a moment alone. Evelyn averted her eyes. [break][break]Grabbing the same pair of pants that she was accustomed to him wearing and a t-shirt, he clothed himself just like any person would. Adam stood to his feet though with a bit of difficulty and walked to her slowly. The space between them was short but felt like miles to him. He pointed to the garments in her hands.[break][break]
"Are those for me?"[break][break]
"You're a Pokemon?"[break][break]
And for once, the barrrier between them had been broken. Adam didn't know what a Pokemon was but she did. Evelyn explained it to him along with where she went and he explained to her what he was. Understanding came with time and the barrier between them dissolved into nothingness giving way to a wholesome affection from human to gijinka. Eventually, Adam left home to travel the world with Eve. He met many other Pokemon and befriended them. But the more that he travelled, the more he wanted to see and he wanted for Eve to be by his side.[break][break]
But Adam noticed that Eve was growing at an alarming rate while he wasn't. There were moments when others thought Eve was his older sister to which she had to dissuade them. They couldn't hold hands anymore and she'd kiss his forehead instead of his cheek. Patting his head with a sad look in her eyes that Adam didn't like at all. He wanted to grow. He wanted to be as big as her so they could be together again.[break][break]
Eventually, his wish came. A feeling so strong that it caused him to age at a rapid pace. Adam was excited when he told Eve. The happiness that he expressed at being able to be with her now that he was older so that she wouldn't be sad but nothing changed. Adam didn't understand.[break][break]
"You're going to live for a very long time and I'm not," she said. "I want to grow up. I want to have a family of my own and adventures with my own children. Maybe its just the age talking but I want to move on. This couldn't last forever."

WHERE YOU THOUGHT CHILVARY WAS DEAD

Adam didn't understand at first. He didn't but he pretended to. When Eve met a guy that he iked, he pretended to be happy for her. When she cried over loss relationships, he sang songs for her just as his mother did for him. She always smiled when he sang for her. Told him that he could be famous one day with the voice that he had and his personality. But fame didn't matter to him as long as he was able to see her smile.[break][break]
"You can't live your entire life based on me," she said. "You'll miss out on so many things."[break][break]
She spent less time with him though it may have been for his own good. Adam found that there was so many things that he liked to do. Things that he wanted to embark on and enjoy with all of his heart but the more he enjoyed himself, the less he saw Eve. She was getting older and even had a child of her own. Three actually.[break][break]
The man that she married seemed to be aware of her relationship with Adam. There were moments when he'd give him strange looks that were pitiful or confused. Their children loved Adam and he took care of them as if they were his own. With Eve's permission, he introduced them to his parents and showed them the joys of having Pokemon of their own. Eve had a family of her own and Adam was apart of it in small ways. But he found his heart acheing at the sight of her wrapped in her husband's arms while sharing a kiss after one of their children reached a milestone.[break][break]
"That's lost love," Eve told him when he told her what he felt.[break][break]
She ran her fingers through his hair but it didn't feel the same as when his mother did it or when she used to comb his hair to ease his nerves. He stopped her hand and lowered it from his hair. There were wrinkles and creases on her fingers, the gold band being a reminder of what couldn't be. He held her hand in his own and sang for her again. A song to ease their nerves and bring into reality what they were facing.

AND I GAVE YOU DEJA VU INSTEAD

Eve died. Her children were forty years old by the time their mother passed and their father had gone years earlier. Adam was by her side when she passed but his attention was occupied with the pictures taken before Eve's passing and her grandchildren who were oblivious to what had happened. One of her children asked Adam to sing for their mother while she was fading between the realm of the living and the dead. So he did. He sang for a girl that taught him about the world outside of what he knew. Someone who spoke to him as if he was their equal rather than something lesser. The first person that he loved who he became better with instead of for. He sang for the girl that turned his entire world upside down and he loved her for it.[break][break]
Adam bid Eve goodbye. Holding her hand in his own as the color faded from her eyes. The days that followed were hard but Adam helped to ease everyone through it even if he was still holding onto the memory of two children in the forest together.[break][break]
He went on to do as Eve said. Doing as he wanted, not letting his world revolve around her.[break][break]
He worked hard to make a name for himself. Having a presence on the Internet as "Addy", doing collaoration videos and original music videos as well, playing video games for his viewer's pleasure and holding concerts. He even read to children when the time would allow.[break][break]
There were so many things that he could see and do in the world. And out of honor of his friend and lost love, he titled his first tour as EVE.
