TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

[attr="class","jartox"]
[attr="class","jartoxpic3"]
[attr="class","jartoxlyr"] Hello this is totally not late
[attr="class","jartoxpost"]
She hated working late. [break][break]
She hated working late in the hospital. It was always so dark, and there were always less people working the night shifts as opposed to the day shifts. But.. To be fair, it was her fault for not finishing all of her work on time. It was her fault for not doing everything that needed to be done, and now here she was trying to shuffle her way along and attempt to finish up the rest of her work before the day set too far. There were too many papers that piled up on her desk, and she found too much work that people decided to dump on her. Erk.. I-It wasn't that she didn't want to do any of that work, really. She was completely indifferent about doing it but.. Sometimes she wished that her other coworkers would actually do their work so that she could have at . least a little bit more free time to herself. Truth to be told, she was often the one having work dumped onto her by the other nurses and the occasional doctors. Thankfully there were people who actually did their work like they were supposed to, but the majority of the paper work and the ordering and the like was dumped onto her. It wasn't.. Exactly something that she was happy with, but what could you do, right? B-Because if she didn't do it, then the manager was going to get mad at her coworker, then her coworker would get mad at her for not doing it, and.. Well.. She'd rather avoid that trouble. She'd rather avoid the trouble that was going to spike her anxiety through the roof. She'd rather suck it up and spend the time to finish someone else's work. It was normal for her, anyways. [break][break]
Besides, she found this to be way more forgiving than school was. Myeong could work in her own room, her own desk at peace. She wouldn't have to worry about other people walking over to her desk and knocking her papers over. She wouldn't have to worry about people taking her pencils, erasers and other tools. She wouldn't have to worry about people pulling at her hair, pulling her chair from under her and she wouldn't have to worry about people stealing and messing up her work. She wouldn't have to worry so long as she was in her own room of isolation. Sure, maybe a few people came in to ask her this and that, but she didn't have to worry all too much because the office was usually small. Plus, she was something more.. Akin to a nurse and occasional therapist. Something like that, she had the degree for that, anyways. Even if it took a hell of a long time to obtain them, she was glad that she was able to suck it up and get herself placed into a well off position and occupation. Her hard work actually paid off after all, didn't it? [break][break]
... But if that were the case, why did she feel so uneasy? [break][break]
Myeong brushes a few locks of her short, lavender hair from her face while slowly turning her head towards the gap under the door. It was faint, yes, but she could hear small footsteps pacing back and forth from her office. Now if this were the daytime, she wouldn't have to worry too much about it because there were always other doctors and the like walking around in the hallways. It was normal for them to travel to look at other patients, and it was normal to walk around fetching equipment and the like for them. But it wasn't normal when it was late at night, especially if it was pacing around in the hallway of the nurse's office. Who could it be at this time? I-It couldn't have been a doctor, was it..? There weren't many people who could go back to the staff offices, and so.. It had to be someone from work.. Right? She wasn't.. Going crazy, right? I-It's right.. She was sure that it would be alright. She was.. Positive. It couldn't have been anyone whom she didn't know but.. At the same time, though she tells herself otherwise, the young woman can't help but to gently bite her lower lip.[break][break]
Fingers curl along the edges of her stack of papers, her thumb gently runs over the paper clip that held it all together. Yeah.. I-It couldn't have been anyone, but that doesn't help her ease any more. If anything, her heart gradually begins to sink as her grip tightens around the papers. The sheets waver in her hands from the subtle trembling, all while her purple gaze lingers over the lower area of the door. "... I-It's okay, Myeong.." He won't be there, she tells herself. There was no possible way he could be-- Even though they went to the same program in the past.. He couldn't have. She.. She cut her hair, changed her appearance, number and everything else to keep him away from her. There was.. No way he could have known where she wo-- [break][break]
Bzzzzt. Bzzzt. [break][break]
Myeong suddenly jerks up in her chair, moving back from her initial position no thanks to the wheels attached to the bottom. The woman looks down at the brightened screen, showing her a lone notification from a text. Her eyes cautiously glance over, taking note of their contents. But.. When she notices the contact, she finds a number she couldn't recognize. It was a new number, and for a moment, she places her papers down to pull it up and open up her phone. [break][break]
And the moment she does, her heart drops again. [break][break]
It drops and begins to pound, resonate within her rib cage. The very contents of the text sent a shiver up her spine, effectively causing her knees to shake while her phone shakes in her now clammy hands. "N-No.. No way.. H-He couldn't have.." The young nurse mumbles to herself in a near disbelief, shaking her head a few times while staring down at the text. It wasn't long until she found another text bubble beginning to type, but she quickly exits out of the messaging while watching as a preview of the most recent message pops up. The blood rushes to her cheeks as she's reading it, but not out of embarrassment, no. She felt a bead of sweat trickling down the side of her face as she merely glances at the words, chest rising in attempts to take in a deep breath. N-No.. No, this wasn't.. No. Her eyes glance over to the door again, ears instinctively perking up to listen in to the other sounds that may have been there. But to her relief, she could not longer hear the footsteps. But.. Just because she didn't, she didn't know if it was safe or not. Her eyes glance to the clock. Her shift.. Ended soon. She had to leave soon, but now she was too scared to leave her office. [break][break]
What if he was there? [break][break]
She can't help but to worry about it but.. It's alright.. Right? Ah.. But she didn't want to go bothering Enzo for something like this again. Plus, it was.. Probably her imagination, right? It was her anxiety getting the better of her.. Right? Yeah.. C-Calm down, Myeong. All you have to do is take a deep breath and walk down, all you have to do is pack up your things, leave the room, out and through the exit of the front door. It's alright, r-really. There was no way he could figure out which office she was in, anyways. It wasn't like.. Her personal office. It was just.. An office that could be used by anyone. Yeah.. I-It'll be okay. He didn't even know.. Y-Yeah. It'l be alright. It's alright. Those are the things she continued to tell herself in hopes to lower her heart rate, now picking up her papers and neatly shoving them into the unzipped portion of her bag. Myeong slowly places her hand on the door, peeking outwards. Her heart gradually calms down as she sees that no one is in the corridor, hence why she's able to walk out on her own without too much of a problem. See, Myon? You were just being anxious. There was no way--[break][break]
"Myeong?" [break][break]
And she freezes in her tracks. The woman keeps a hold on the strap of the bag slung over her shoulder, gripping it enough for her nails to subtly dig into the lower palms of her hands. Without looking back, the young woman begins to speed up her pace down the hallway as the steady paced sounds of a man's footsteps follows her from behind. His footsteps were there. His steps were behind her. They were following her, and they weren't going to leave her be. Her chest tightens as she attempts to speed up, but no matter how quickly she's trying to get away, the sounds of the steadily paced footsteps echo not too far from behind her. It feels like an eternity when she's finally able to leave the building and through the automatic sliding doors at the front, taking a deep breath of relief. The woman finally takes a moment to turn her head back towards the entrance, releasing a sigh of relief as she finds no sign of.. Someone she would rather.. Not speak to. Myeong is about to turn back to walk at her own pace until she suddenly feels a firm grip on her forearm, pulling her back to have herself hit against the chest of a slightly taller, brunette man. For a moment, Myeong actually raised her voice into a softer squeak, but it was loud enough to echo in the empty night. [break][break]
"L-Let go of me..! I-I.. I just want to go home..! Why are you even--" So she squeaks, arms attempting to flail in the man's grip, but to no avail. With that, the man grips onto Myeong's other arm from behind, lowering himself more to speak into the young woman's ear. [break][break]
"I was looking for you~" He whispers in a low tone, a grin pulled at the corners of his lips. The words were soothing, and otherwise harmless. But they were words that she was used to hearing. Words that had the woman struggle all the more violently, but out of a sense of desperation.
But can I answer, I feel my soul is trembling[break] Lost in these days that mean the world to me

Abilities
✿ Hypersensitive Empathy; Ability to sense sadness and discomfort.
[break][break]✿ Happiness; Taking from Blissey's egg ability, Myeong is capable of imbedding the same happiness "dust" (as she calls it) into the foods that she makes to give the same, uplifting effect.
[break][break]✿ Heal Pulse; Capable of healing another individual's fatigue and moderate injuries through physical touch. Cannot stop excessive bleeding nor can it heal a fractured bone.
[break][break]✿ Heal Bell; Capable of healing poison, paralysis and other effects. Other effects include but are not limited to burns, hypnotism and general panic attacks.
[break][break]
But I can hear it calling out to me
TW: Contains severe bullying and abuse (physical, verbal, emotional and sexual).
For those who don't want to read through the icky stuff, here's a brief summary: Myon was born in Lavender Town and was labelled as some outcast child because her parents were both gravekeepers. People basically thought she was haunted or something, because she was supposed to die when she was born, but she barely survived. Anyways, her parents died when she was about seven, and she was sent over to live with her uncle (her only relative). There, she found out that her uncle was abusive, having often abused her mother when she was a child (in all ways imaginable). He basically did the same thing to Myon here. She started attending the public schools when she was 9, and was often bullied for being a gijinka and for the whole thing in Lavender Town. Her Uncle began to sexually assault her starting 14, which only made her phobia of men all the more severe. [break][break]
At the age of 16, she was assaulted by a gang of guys that time around, and ended up limping home. After that, she found out those guys had girlfriends and.. Well, they were jealous. So they threw eggs at her, chopped off her hair and pretty much turned her into a mess. So yeah, that was her high school life when she wasn't with her only friend at the time. After graduating though, she was accepted into a larger medical school and she started studying nursing there. There she often lived in the dorm (but due to her Stockholm syndrome) she often did go back to her uncle upon his command. She willingly let herself into that environment; and she still does. Even after finishing her schooling and despite being able to keep a relatively stable living for herself, she's still struggling with her uncle. [break][break]
Now, in her university years, she met a young man. A young man who she fell for; but hell he was clingy. As in he was obsessed with her for one reason or another. So much that he began telling her how to live her life, and she started falling out of love not long afterwords. He was abusive towards her, but again, stockholm syndrome. She refused to tell anyone about the darker parts in their relationship, up until she broke down in front of Enzo. With Enzo's help, she was able to break up with the man and move on with her life. Well.. Easier said than done. Basically, he stalks her to this day. He follows her around, he got her address and often hung around the outside of her house until she was too terrified to leave the front door. She had moved back and forth a number of times but for one reason or way for another, he always followed her. It wasn't until a few of the friends she met in university tried to defend her; of which she was grateful for. [break][break]
A bit after her graduation from university, she was offered a job position in a hospital in Lyeant. At the age of twenty six - at the same time as Enzo - she moved over to Lyeant. Unfortunately, her uncle followed her under the guise of being "worried". It wasn't long until she found out that her ex also came over to Lyeant; in search of her. So now she has an abusive Uncle whom she obeys the orders of, and a legitimately crazy ex who's almost always looking for her. No wonder she's terrified of going out.
[break][break]✿ Born in Lavender Town, her parents worked in the cemetery (like grave keepers). Due to superstition, she and her family were occasionally outcasted from the town. There was a rumour that ghosts haunted them. Due to the superstitions, the other citizens often claimed that was the cause of Myeong's weak structure. Unfortunately, Myeong was born with weak bones and weak nerves in her muscles. She was supposed to be a miscarriage, however a stubborn mother ended up giving birth to a more than weak child. By some miracle, she survived.
[break][break]✿ Grew up rather isolated from the people around her, but she had a relatively pleasant relationship with her parents. Though they knew it was tough for their child, hence why they started her with being homeschooled. More to save her from being bullied at school. Knowing that she had survived when she was supposed to die however, only made the other citizens call her a "ghost child".
[break][break]✿ Used to be curious and bright; so one day she crawled and snuck out of her home to watch the other kids from school. She was able to make friends with them, enjoying a few weeks as a "regular homeschooled girl". That is, until the other elders and parents pulled their children away from her. She was eventually labelled as a cursed child; the child of ghosts.
[break][break]✿ She never really knew the rest of her family; she only knew that her mother had a single brother - someone that her mother desperately stayed away from. She often advised Myeong to stay away from him and to never listen to him.
[break][break]✿ Myeong eventually experienced the discrimination towards herself and her parents; both for what her parents did, and for the sole virtue of being a gijinka when she went out of town. At the age of seven, she willingly withdrew herself from society and stayed shut in with her parents.
[break][break]✿ Unfortunately at the age of nine, her parents went out to run errands in the next city. Myeong was home alone when she got word that her parents died in an accident.
[break][break]✿ As a minor, she was sent to the closest relative - or in this case, the only relative - that would accept her as a child; her mother's brother. It was there where she learned - first hand - why her mother was so wry about him. Starting from the age of nine, her uncle constantly abused her (both while drunk and while sober). He physically and emotionally broke her down.
[break][break]✿ When he learned that she was homeschooled, he enrolled her into the local public school. There, she was often picked on for her meek and bookwormish behaviour. At ten years old, she often refused to go to school and when she did, she would be approached by teachers about bruises from the night before. If it weren't that, it would be other students harassing her for her ragged appearance.
[break][break]✿ As she approached high school and as her body began to gradual develop, her uncle's perverse nature surfaced. He would often assault and harass Myeong in their own home, against her will. Unfortunately, he was capable of keeping her quiet using threats. It wasn't long until she developed a severe case of Stockholm syndrome, more to cope with her own feelings of captivity.
[break][break]✿ Then one day, she actually met a boy who was willing to help her out. Said boy is now one of her closest friends; Sanda Kai. Or.. As he's now known as Enzo Song. He often helped her ward off the majority of bullies at school, but it didn't stop them from being persistent. It's over these years where she's learned to appreciate his company and companionship alike.
[break][break]✿ The two of them grew closer over the years, however Myeong refrained herself from telling him about the happenings at home. If anything, she's only ever told him about how she was thankful to her uncle for taking in someone like her. The years of abuse and mental torment eventually led to a severely damaged self esteem and degree of self worth for herself.
[break][break]✿ In the four years she's attended high school, she was assaulted by her uncle on a near daily basis; something that has traumatized Myeong of males. In that time, Myeong had the bad habit of getting herself mixed in with the wrong crowds. When she wasn't with Enzo, she was.. Like a sitting duck. She'd often be approached by other people and pressured into doing things that she wasn't.. Keen on doing. It wasn't long until she was turned into the literal punching bag of everyone else.
[break][break]✿ What Enzo didn't know however (and something she keeps to herself), was the fact that she had been ganged up on. Ganged up on, as in she was assaulted by a group of boys. Turns out those boys had girlfriends - jealous and toxic teens. They pulled her aside and began to spite her, generally throwing disgusting objects at her before ultimately cutting up her clothes and hair; calling her degrading names and the like. It wasn't pleasant. Unfortunate to say, that was the remainder of her high school years when she didn't have Enzo to protect her; she was called a coward and otherwise.
[break][break]✿ Thankfully, her studious nature helped her land a position as a student in medical school. Myeong entered for nursing, and the differing career paths and schooling is what separated her from Enzo. Even though she did talk to him on a daily basis the best she could, the workload often got the better of the both of them. During university however, she met someone in her biology class who she gradually fell for. The feelings were mutual, and the two started dating when she was nineteen.
[break][break]✿ Unfortunately, while they were dating for that year, she found out that he was suffocating her. He was controlling and clingy, he was obsessed with her. He wanted to know what she did every living second. He wanted to know where she was. And if she was somewhere, he would just.. Somehow know. He began monitoring her phone calls, texts, times and etc. He tried to hold her by a tight leash; the way he treated her was no different than a slave. For the first year of their relationship, Myeong was being treated as a confined slave.
[break][break]✿ The year afterwords, he began getting abusive when she didn't obey him. There had been a time when he told her not to interact with Enzo, which was the first time she actually stood her ground. For the next few months, her boyfriend abused her all the more. She was intent on keeping this up, until Enzo found her crying after a scolding. There, she spilled the beans about the abusive relationship and (taking the rest of his previous warnings into mind) finally worked up enough courage to officially break up with her boyfriend.
[break][break]✿ Her boyfriend attempted to attack her, grabbing her by the neck. Thankfully, Enzo kept an eye on the encounter and intervened. After breaking up with him, she began to see Enzo more regularly. She began studying around him and etc, up until she graduated. Unfortunately, this didn't stop her ex from stalking her and occasionally, she would find him waiting outside of her house door. For a short time, Meyong was terrified of leaving her house.
[break][break]✿ Right after coming out of university at the age of twenty-three, she was offered a job opening in Lyeant. Myeong jumped at the offer, thinking that it would be a great way to get away from both her uncle and her crazy ex. Unfortunately, her uncle followed her to Lyeant, keeping her on the leash while her ex, too, followed her to Lyeant as a scientist. She found out that he was constantly looking for her, hence why shortly after she arrived, she began to hide away from the public eye more often. As for her uncle, she would visit him several times a week to sate him and move on with her life; much as she despises it.
[break][break]✿ Currently she is working as a nurse, however she's been actively trying to avoid her ex and has been reluctantly following her Uncle's demands. Since has been her life ever since.
there is nothing left to take, but i still try to reach. try to swallow it all down, yet i can't seem to breathe. just a single pill of mine, nothing else would suffice - i take it in, now i'm alive. my phone is set on lock, and i don't really care. there's a tangle and a knot that i cannot repair. i'm a tragedy, i'm ugly, i'm trying to hide. i say "hello", then wave "goodbye". see me fall down - let me die here slowly. nothing goes right, not a trace of honestly. i'm to blame, so i'll remain. black, white; day, night; it's all the same. see it run down - cut away, no worries. say no more. i can surely say that i've had enough. i still refuse to believe.
