It was after watching a musical that had a Cubchoo walk on stage that Touko realized how much she wanted to do something in the future that allowed Pokémon to perform if they so chose. She was only a child at the time, but seeing how much everyone enjoyed the little one on stage really cemented that want in. Time would pass and while others would begin their journeys as Pokémon trainers, White kept looking towards a new business. In her teens, she became the president and manager of BW Agency.

After some bumpy roads started from her hiring a young man with a male Tepig, she ends up following him on his journey to defeat a few gyms. Along the way she continued to endorse her company, even going as far as to hire people for the shows that they were putting on. She didn’t stop there; she was even able to convince the mayor of another city to put on a musical to make the city livelier. However, not everyone was impressed with her idea. In fact, one man forced her into a battle to show her that she had been suppressing her own Pokémon skills by keeping Gigi from battling. This resulted in her losing Gigi to the man, but gaining one of his own Pokémon in return.

This time it was the young man who helped her by getting her to the hospital and even waiting up for her to wake up. Of course it wasn’t just him who had helped her, and once she was able to wake up, she and him had headed to the Battle Subway in search of the other man that had found her. Watching Alder and Marshal battle each other, and then seeing the way Alder interacted with Pokémon, helped convince Touko that she should partake in the Battle Subway as well. It was time that she learned just what N had been trying to teach her back at the Ferris wheel.

It was then that she made a breakthrough and with the use of the Servine, she is able to capture a Deerling before she takes off. In the beginning, there were no battles won. Every battle was a loss. But after battling Thundurus and Tornadus with Shauntal, her battling seems to improve drastically. Not only that, but she had even managed to catch more Pokémon. Shortly after finishing at the Battle Subway, she is given a Pokédex by Bianca. When she meets up with the young man once more, they were confronted by N who offers to give Gigi back to Touko. And though Touko does want her back, she now understands that if Gigi wishes to continue battling, then she should be given the option to choose.

Awhile later, after learning more about N from some members of Team Plasma, Gigi actually does come back to Touko. Though, Touko still considered Gigi as N’s Pokémon and would give her back to him as soon as he asked for her. The next time that she ran into Black and N, the former had defeated the latter. But this talk with N ends with Touko even finding out that his own views had changed. The happy moment would soon be ruined though once N left with Zekrom; this caused Reshiram to begin converting back to the Light Stone. And thanks to Ghetsis, even Black was absorbed into the Light Stone.

It had been shocking to Touko to hear that Black was still wearing the logo and to even think that he still had a debt to pay. But before she could say anything about it, he was gone, leaving Touko there heatbroken, only able to watch as the Light Stone floated off. Even though she wanted to sit there and wallow over her lost friend, she had a business to get back to running. With a heavy heart she went back to BW Agency, definitely not as enthusiastic as she once was.

It took a few years, and while she wasn’t completely over the loss of her friend, her mood had definitely improved. With the help of others, she tossed herself into opening Pokéstar Studios. Those two years of having her mood lifted were brought to a screeching halt when she was asked to go to the Entralink. There she discovered the Light Stone and hope that Black could be released flowed through her. However, after N showed up and took her to where Team Plasma currently was, she watched as he went off with the Light Stone to confront Ghetsis once more.

What became of that battle, Touko never found out the answer. Her work had called her away and once again she was swept up in all of it. Fast forward to now and she hasn’t been able to reach N to see if Black came back or not. All she could do is hope that one day she’d have her friend back. But that wasn’t why she had come to this region. The thing that most drew her in was wanting to see how the studio was doing out here since her companies had helped kickstart it.
