she found art poetic, so she made some, because she wanted to be a poet. [break][break]
jun had a reasonable amount of privilege growing up, money was never scarce mostly due to the small family business her parents had built. but if you had asked her what her favorite thing in the whole wide world was, she wouldn’t have answered art or numbers or her beloved paintbrushes since her being a materialistic person would’ve never been accurate. she would’ve said her favorite thing was, for a fact, her favorite person and that was her mother. as far as motherly love went, she was there receiving it and her mother was there to tell her she wasn’t crazy for pursuing something she loved and that her dad was yelling because he didn’t understand gifts. because he had struggled and ‘cause somewhere along the way he stopped having faith. she believed too, her mother, that all the determination, the hopes and strength he had in him was all passed down to his daughters. she advised that they should keep it safe because one day he would need it, making this their job to care for it as if it was their own father’s soul. this kind of thought made the teenager’s heart at ease. and thus, she voiced her choice assertively, of drawing and painting and jumping up and down alongside smeargles once she graduated. she was talented and she did have a future as an artist, even if that meant being her hardworking, worried about money father’s disappointment. however, a child’s notions are temporary, always changing and what junie found to be deeply passionate about as she started understanding multiple concepts was medical care. there were no fantasies to it, not like the ones she had when standing before a canvas. by studying medicine, she felt fulfilled and married to the rush. more specifically, she felt a weight on her back that she hadn’t felt before, because she was raised with no worries in the world, shielded by adults to be her hopeful self when they thought sharing reality would break her. and, indeed, they were correct. at the beginning, the medic was troubled, trying to deal with screaming children and crying adults with multiple injuries. she felt empathy get the best of her so many times that she froze. fortunately, junie clicked and others made her realize that even with good intentions she wasn’t as lost as the person writhing beneath her hands and soon enough she came right to her senses and tried her best to be of utmost assistance as well as comfort to her patients. it was then that such epiphanies occurred, shortly after turning twenty-four when she went to help in the wreckages left by the elite four in the kanto region. if studying to be a surgeon had hardened her and made her sharp, actually focusing on trauma made her resilient and a lot faster. her judgment improved with time after relying so much on her fast instincts. which she still does from time to time, only now she knows a whole lot.[break][break]
jun came to love the people and cities she had crossed paths with and made of the attacked land her home. she lived mostly in saffron city up until hearing about the happenings in her hometown and went on to aid those in distress. using up her build up knowledge, she travelled from destroyed sites to another, including neufrit.[break][break]

political affiliation

she moved to eirenhyre city with her family and toyed with the ideals of the pokemon association. the trauma surgeon had such title mostly because of the countless moments that she had tried to save people from the recklessness of others and not for her political stances. since these topics were never on the tip of her tongue and all that she knew was that she wanted something safe for all, she came to a decision in regards of her family. despite knowing well in her heart that pokemon deserved the same treatment as one would give to humans in need of shelter, at that time, she prioritized (selfishly enough) the safety of ones close to her. as a teen, jun was the popular and sweet girl everyone knew about, who was probably always surrounded by friends and engaging in new activities. she discovered much of her shyness when dealing with figures of authority during her years in medicine and having to speak her mind which she hardly did at first. she often needed a push at that time.[break][break]
currently, although jun overcame her necessity to grow up and stop being childish, she is struggling with a sense of unhappiness in her job, she is almost borderline wishing to have had the chance to focus on neurosurgery rather than dealing with mass casualties. but it was what the world needed from her at the time, what could she have possibly done? pain and angst aside, she is nice and freckled cheeks adorable and very much professional. she loves stroking people’s hair and being there for them but is not fond at all of the current political stances that everyone’s been forced to pick. rather than thinking about that, she dives into her work and research, spending her days inside a hospital.[break][break]

she is loyal and has crossed so many boundaries that she ended up having an allergic reaction or two trying to befriend someone. most of all, junie is a good listener and constantly regarding people's feelings. since she is still young and youth hasn't failed her, she remained the same energetic and talkative person as always so she continues on to ask older friend’s advice. long story short, she has very few friends her age and even if she can be seen as annoying to many, she will probably still be loved.[break][break]

again with the boundaries, if she doesn't like someone she is petty, oh so petty. she is one to make unwanted comments about said person and spend an hour ranting about them. she wastes too much of her time watching them, that's for sure. as far as personalities go, someone too perky gets to her nerves and she will be deeply annoyed and, of course, the hatred is partly because she was almost like that once, perky, too perky.[break][break]
