TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. sapph + jae: LOL YES but ye i'm pretty sure jae and latias are kind of settling into one being but yanno i'm sure latias would try to initiate some friendliness right off the bat since she kinda assumes that the lovely sapphire human will remember her. i'm sure that'll result in some awkwardness between jae and sapphire with latias being the perpetrator of said awkwardness LOL but, okay, lemme tell u a thing too - jae really, really admires skilled battlers and i bet he'd like FREAK if he meets sapphire bc i'm sure all of the pokedex holders are like. idols to him so there's defs a form of admiration on jae's side already (even tho he has a mild crush on ruby shhhh)

noel + jae: OOOO yes i like this maybe noel and jae could have a kind of mentor/student relationship going on where jae learns about strategy from noel and he like discusses his thought processes for strategy making and stuff.
Min-jae, or otherwise known as Jae, is an all-around friendly guy - you wouldn't know it though, because he's also rather introverted. Otherwise, he likes talking about battling strategies and learning new things from others. He honestly likes meeting new people even if he struggles to come out of his shell. There's just one drawback: he's also an avid memer.

There's a reason why he was so easy to pick on in middle school. Jae likes to think that he's grown out of his wimpy middle school phase, but there are still remnants of his cowardice whenever there's confrontations involved. It's not easy to get him mad - unless you pick on his twin sister, Min-ji Baek. He also tends to get real heated and vocal whenever debating about the current political issues in Lyeant. He pushes more for a compromise between all three factions through the Pokémon Association: a view that is undoubtedly scoffed at.

Some parts of his romance have already been discussed through Discord buuuut if you really want to get with this incredibly huge dork, you'd have to get past his sister and endure his memes. That aside, he's a very caring and generous lover who swings both ways.

Okay so I had this dumb headcanon that Jae was part of a fanclub for the Pokédex Holders and he absolutely idolized Red for his battling prowess and had a kinda-minor-but-actually-huge crush on Ruby. For reasons. Anyway, he's also in this weird co-habitation situation with Latias and Latias has a grudge on both Groudon and Kyogre for kicking her and Latios's ass that one time. I'd also LOVE to see some plots w/ Legendary gijinkas and/or other Association peeps in general and some clashes with Parallax peeps.

Jae is a bit of an enigma - he's relaxed and keeps a fairly level head in most situations. To those outside of his small circle of friends and family, he seems to be the very image of the cool loner who's always one step ahead of everyone else. To people who know him, he's... an idiot. A really obnoxious idiot with a strange penchant for memes (of all things). Despite this, he has a knack for assessing and countering attacks and a great love for learning new things (particularly in battling). But he absolutely sucks at social tact. [break][break] Though, there are times when he's actually thoughtful and thinks before he speaks, more subdued than his usual liveliness, less sure than himself than he appears to be. Sometimes he's a different person altogether. In those times, he tends to act more carefully - as if something precious to him could disappear in a moment - and he's more strict, especially with himself. His sense of humor takes a notably dark and scathing turn during these occasional "episodes". His love for knowledge, more or less, stays the same.
Humans. They were always so... weird. Interesting. Funny. Kinda endearing too - if you look at them sideways and squint really hard. Latias liked humans so much, she wanted to look like one and see how they lived. She tried and perfected a method of disguise and seamlessly blended in with them. Her brother didn't like them as much (he didn't like her escapades either) but he looked out for her. All they had was each other and that was enough for the both of them.

Humans were dangerous for a good reason. Their ambition and greed led to horrifying feats - the capture of Rayquaza, the abuse of Jirachi's powers, the destruction humans were capable of. But that same ambition and greed led to some of the most touching moments Latias has witnessed - the small lonely boy finding friends, the same boy finding his courage against all odds, the united force of humans working together to protect their loved ones and Pokémon. Overall, Latias was left feeling sort of satisfied and happy that these children found each other. She returned home with Latios, feeling everything was right with the world once more.

But she had thought wrong. [break][break] Humans never ceased to surprise her, in all of their terrifying and wonderful ways. This time, the threat involved some sort of... meteor? Or something? In any case, it was a really bad "doom the world" sort of deal and the children had to, once again, join forces and put a stop to it alongside familiar faces and old enemies. And, for some inexplicable reason, that included getting knocked out of the sky by good ol' Groudon and Kyogre. Latias had developed a mild grudge against them at this point because those two sure like to wreak havoc in Hoenn all the damn time. [break][break] Anyway. What disturbed Latias more than fighting against fellow Legendaries and seeing through the masks some of the humans donned were the things the "good" humans did. To their Pokémon, to their own partners. Latias had to close her eyes, to save Latios from witnessing the rest of that horror. The humans' technology, their machinery... it was something that Latias became fearful of. She was glad that her small human boy gave up his contraptions before this particular crisis. Otherwise, she would've cringed away from him in fear too. [break][break] If Latios noticed the slight diminish in her interest towards humans, he didn't say anything.

[break][break] They - the two Eon Pokémon - didn't expect to stumble upon two siblings so alike and unalike in all their childish precociousness. The sister, who was older by a mere second, was drawn to Latios - yet Latias found herself liking the shyer, lonelier boy who had a head full of dreams and a heart full of fear. [break][break] So she took his hand (gently, because her claws are sharp) and smiled. [break][break] "It's okay to be afraid." [break][break] After all, she knew what it was like to be afraid too.

Baek Min-jae, or Min-jae Baek. Lyeant native and the younger twin by a mere second (stop being cocky about it Ji) yet people mistook him (and still do) as the older of the two because of his height. Most didn't assume much about him right off the bat since he tended to come off as laidback and carefree. But he, like many others, witnessed Team Imum's horrific campaign and, unlike many others, barely survived with his family intact. Key words: "family" and "intact". Most weren't that lucky. He was not, by any stretch of imagination, unaffected by the war. No one walked away from something like that unscarred. His scars were more mental than physical, too subtle to notice unless one knew him like the back of their hand. [break][break] The war changed Min-jae Baek, yes - but now he knows what to fight for. What to stand for. [break][break] He stands for peace.
