TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

She tells herself that she's not going to do anything stupid. [break][break]
Then she goes off to do something stupid. [break][break]
Because there is something about this place that always made her feel sentimental; something about this specific path that made her feel "Hey, maybe these humans actually have a chance to survive" or.. Something as wishful as that. The woman can only stare out into the distance, with jaded, golden eyes narrowing while her ears are perked up, carefully listening to the rummaging sounds from within the hidden caverns. For as long as she could remember - since coming to Lyeant, that is - there have been countless people who have been stubborn enough not to leave; even less souls willing to join either the Republic, Association or the Parallax. Now if she were to be speaking from her own, personal opinion; she would say that was stupid. It was best to ride out this small ark of life and move on, perhaps cause less trouble than it was really worth. Unfortunately, not everyone could bask in centuries of life. To few like herself, they would consider this to be an ark of their life; a page, a fragment of sorts. But to the majority? It would be seen as their entire life; the only life that they, unfortunately, may only live long enough to ever know. But it was this thought that nearly had her pitying the groups, holed into their houses while cowering in fear. [break][break]
Granted, she could fully understand the fear and anxiety, herself. So there wasn't much she could say against it all. [break][break]
Lan Chi Ming - or rather, the "Floral Witch" - Began to roam around the dead area known as "Hope's Path". But nowadays, she couldn't find how it could harbour any form of "Hope" any longer. Unfortunate as it was, she failed to see whatever wonders or pleasantries that this specific trail had to offer; with the occasional, household appliance laying around in the waste and rubbish. Sometimes you would see people coming and going, acting as a rescue team; but arceus damn her if she didn't think she knew what they were doing. Trying to get more people onto their side; to support for their cause; all because the other side didn't agree to them. The end result was to rebuild the nation; why was that so difficult to achieve? There were the few souls who thought they could change the world in less than a few decades; but as for her? She's lived long enough to meet heroes and she's lived long enough to actually watch people succeed - and it's sad to say those changes only take place after said mortal kicks the bucket; The poor souls never live long enough to marvel and bask in their newfound peace-- Assuming they had achieved it, in the first place. [break][break]
That being said, the brunette woman's heels quietly dig into the dirt ground, imprinting the marks of her sole with each silent step she took. Asides from the occasional crunching of the soil below, there was naught a single sound to keep her company. Not even the murmurs of those hiding out nor the echoes of stray pokemon could kill this silence-- Hadn't she known any better, she would had assumed this was some sort of serenity. That being said, there was barely any sort of colour in a place that was supposedly named after "Hope" and frankly, she believed that it didn't fit it's name. At all. "... In fact, it's possibly less and less fitting." Her lips part, bitterly glaring down at the near dead dirt beneath her feet. That being said, the fairy woman slowly bends down to take her heels off - her socks following shortly afterwords. It's not long as she hooks her fingers to hold onto the heels - said shoes cradling her socks - and setting them down just a bit from her own body. With a deep breath and a small sigh, the woman begins to quietly hum a soft, pleasant tune to herself to break this near cold silence. [break][break]
And in that soft and quiet song, her feet were dug into the ground all the same. [break][break]
It's not long until sprouts and hints of life begin to appear around her; seeds were anything but planted, and yet the speck of green was more than enough a hint. An indicator - a physical, visible indicator - that there was, indeed, life to this near dead path. Her tune resonates down the path, through the cavern learning to Eirenhyre and what not. And as the song progresses, the flowers begin to grow around the woman herself. Dirt that was once brown and grey began to strongly hold plants in their stead; plants of all different colours peek from the ground with the floral woman in the centre of it all. A smile plays at her lips, her golden eyes following the ever-expanding flower garden she was making for herself. Unfortunately, she knew fully well that said flowers would not last too long without her presence to tend to them, but it was a pleasant touch to an otherwise, near dead area. Frankly, she thought it would be a pleasant sight for the sore eyes. [break][break]
Yet in the middle of her song, she pauses. [break][break]
She hears the sound of soil crunching beneath another set of feet and with that, the woman stops her song. Petals that adorn her hair like scattered flowers fall out and to the ground, however they are immediately replaced by another few right afterwords. "Hello? Who's there?" The woman asks. Her arms rest at her sides, draped over the slender red dress that covered the majority of her body.[break][break]
"I know you're there; come out, now~"

[attr="class","maind"][attr="class","umad"]It was days like this that reminded Ishini Mazuka of all that she'd lost, and all that she would never again regain. As usual, she'd picked a fight with whoever was willing, but almost unusually she didn't pick it to win, to feel the oft-pleasurable sensation of bone breaking beneath her steel-clad fists or under her heel. No, this fight she had picked to lose. Pain was, by many accounts, one of her few escapes in recent memory. Ever since she'd run away from Corvou she had begun to find the sting of it more and more appealing, oft to the point where she would put her own life at risk just for the sake of it. To her, she deserved every last scar that decorated her body, every black eye, broken bone, and blade through her body that she'd ever received since arriving in Lyeant.
To say she was suicidal at this point would be fair, and there were times when it would be hitting the nail square atop the head. This happened to be one time where the latter was far more accurate, and as she dragged herself up off the ground a solid ten minutes after her opponent had left, she could still feel the ache of her wounds. She had just wandered then, not caring where she went or who found her along the way. She couldn't be bothered to hide what she was at this point. It was too much effort to avoid the confrontation anymore. Her gauntlets hung loosely at her side, dented, scratched and in dire need of a polish. Dried blood, some her own, some belonging to others, caked along the steel, only narrowly avoiding damage to the joints. Her own form now was more battered and bruised than it had been in recent memory, and it was a painful effort to remain standing, but she did so anyway.
She couldn't let herself die without seeing him at least once more. She couldn't let herself die without knowing what she had done, how much he inevitably hated her now that all was said and done. Guilt had carved a deep, festering hole within her soul, one that was now even more battered and broken than the body it currently inhabited. This place... "Hope's Path" they had called it. She couldn't quite remember what it had originally looked like, only that it was supposed to have been beautiful. That beauty was not long since gone, and as the wolf let a hand rest over the wound in her side- courtesy of an improvised shortsword that had found its mark too easily- she once again recalled how much this place resembled her own self in many ways.
She didn't know nor care how long she'd walked before coming across the woman, nor did she know why she ducked away behind rubble in an attempt to avoid sight. It wasn't as though she could bring herself to care much of her own safety at this point. Truthfully, she was happy that the woman knew of her presence. It made things a little better knowing she still had some sort of presence.
Even if the fire that once burned so brightly within her was naught more than a dying ember in present time.
She stepped out from the rubble, well, limped would be more appropriate. Her boots crunching softly on the ground as she moved into clear view to watch the woman where she stood, a small meadow around her. Ishi didn't even have to guess that this woman was a Gijinka, and judging from the scenery she was a Grass-Type. Not that it made much difference to her right now. She didn't bother speaking, it was too much effort at this point and she was having trouble focusing on keeping herself standing anyway.
When did the star's light fade away? a voice murmured softly in the back of her head. She ignored it mostly, though there was a time she didn't. There was a time she did a lot of things she no longer had the willingness to do.

Perhaps she came off as a bit too confrontative? Perhaps she spoke up when she wasn't supposed to? Or perhaps she couldn't find it in herself to approach much closer, even after the spotted a bit of hazel brown leaving the sights from the corner of her eye. Lan Chi quietly hums to herself, muling over the additional presence that hadn't done a poor job in trying to conceal herself. Thankfully however, Lan Chi didn't have to spend far too much time within her isolation - for the girl decided to show herself and step from behind whatever she was hiding from - more to reveal herself as a whole. A smile slowly stretched at the woman's lips, directing a warm gaze over to the petite figure. [break][break]
However that's not to say that her golden gaze wouldn't fixated on the young girl's legs. Was she.. Limping? She couldn't exactly tell from this distance, nor did she want to confirm it by making it worse. That being said, the woman slowly shifts her weight from one leg onto the other, turning towards the female before raising her hand up. An open palm facing the mentioned female, but that small smile was retained on her face. "Hold on; I'll go over to you." She voices out, the corners of her lips stretch a bit more, now using the flowers as her cushion to walk on the otherwise uneven and uncomfortable land below. And with each stride, petals continued to fall from her hair like it was a normal occurrence. [break][break]
But with each passing step, the flowers continued to grow beneath her feet. They sprouted and curled, eventually growing enough energy to turn upwards and bloom with a certain degree of radiance. It doesn't take long until she arrives, only maintaining a foot or so of distance for the sake of personal space. She's standing over in terms of height and she assumes that she's younger tan what her body's age is telling her - she would know; like come on now - before flashing a slightly warmer smile in her presence. "Hello~ What brings you out here?" Her voice raises a tad bit, but maintains that relative, consistent and soft chiming tone. The last thing she would want is to put someone off; it's the least she could do, after all. [break][break]
Lan's eyes slowly trace down to the girl's leg, along with the boots she was dragging around in her near limp. Was she injured? What could have caused that injury? But.. She didn't think that anything would attack. But even then, it was dangerous to be wandering around when your legs are weak; she would know. She's done that before; centuries in the past. But though her smile is on her face, the back of her mind is stuffing that bit of information to ask at a later time. A soft sigh escapes her lips as she attempts to ward away the concerning thoughts - only then to extend her arm out with an open palm. "My name is Lan Chi, but just Lan is fine~... May I ask for your name?"

[attr="class","maind"][attr="class","umad"]It was evident up close that Ishi's body was severely bruised, and battered beyond what it reasonably should've been able to withstand. There were cuts on her cheek and above one eye, and dirt covered her elbows, knees and part of her face. She swayed slightly where she stood, evidence of her unsteady sense of balance- probably caused by a concussion or something similar. She stared at the other Gijinka for a moment, watching as they approached. Whatever their intentions were, Ishi had long since lost the will as well as strength to fight back, and so she mentally braced herself for the worst.
Instead, she was asked for her name. Ishi couldn't help but blink in shock. Her... name? She almost couldn't remember anymore. It felt like so long since she last used it, or even bothered to introduce herself to anyone. She spoke slowly, her voice quiet and slightly hoarse. "Ishini Mazuka," there was a sting of pain as her mind mentally attempted to overwrite her last name, 'Ryusaki' spelt clearly within her mind's eye and reminding her once more of everything she had thrown away in her foolishness. Everything she would never get back now that she had lost it.
She didn't even bother to respond to the question of why she was here. Not even she knew that anymore. Truth be told, the haze that had begun settling over her mind made it difficult for her to remember why she even trying to stay half-ass alive in the first place. It wasn't as though the voices and memories that constantly assailed her seemed to give a damn whether she lived or died.
She'd already lost everything. There was little more for her left to lose.

It was one thing to be watching quietly, and it was another to just.. Quietly stare. Perhaps into space, perhaps into thought. Lan couldn't exactly read what was going on in her mind, however she could clearly see the result of her fatigue and wariness from the injuries plaguing her body. And though it takes a little while, Lan finally releases a quiet sigh as her eyes continue to scan the latter female's body. Clearly, she was hurt. She was hurt and the poor thing looked like she was struggling to even stand properly. But even then, her ears perk to acutely listen to her voice, picking up hints of her name as the small smile makes itself even the tiniest bit more apparent. [break][break]
And though she's trying to listen to her reasoning for being here, she can't help but to fall silent as she observes her behaviour. "... Mmn.." The woman hums to herself, quietly. It's not long until another smile stretches across her face, now leaning down the tiniest bit to reach eye to eye level with the young woman. "... That's alright, you don't have to answer, dear~" The brunette coos in a low tone, giggling the slightest bit as her eyes move up to lock in contact. "But that doesn't change the fact that you're hurt." The woman mumbles to herself. Even then, she can't help but to wonder how and why this girl was struggling the way she was; with bruises and the like stretched on her legs and her arms. She could only imagine how exhausting it must have been; granted, it's not to say she hasn't walked in those types of conditions. If anything, she's had to travel with burns, near broken bones and etc. [break][break]
That being said, the woman's toes slightly dig themselves into the ground, this time around causing more flowers and grass to grow around her. In the process, there is a faint, sweetened aroma filling the air around them. She hoped that this aromatherapy, paired with her own dose of grassy terrain would help with the healing to some extent - especially as the grass began to sprout underneath the girl before her, as well. Said grass also formed moss - something that could act as a cushion should the girl wish to sit herself down. "... That being said, sit down. You really shouldn't be wandering around with injuries like this." Lan Chi narrows her eyes for a brief moment before motioning down to the moss. She hopes that a warm and reassuring smile could help with convincing her. [break][break]
That being said, the grassy terrain had it's own healing properties, along with the aromatherapy to at least.. Help with some form of fatigue and soothing. ".. Hah.. It's not much, but this is the most I can do. Perhaps we should take you to a hospital soon-- Mmn?" So she says, but she's unaware of whatever wariness the girl may have of her. [break][break]
Call it the motherly instincts kicking it, or the centuries of interacting with people that made her forget that some would actually be confused and conflicted.

[attr="class","maind"][attr="class","umad"]The pain in her eased slightly, her vision clearing somewhat, although it didn't do too terribly much as far as extensive aid went. Ishi's lupine ears flicked slightly at the feeling, having gone somehow relatively unscathed compared to the rest of her body. She listened silently as the woman spoke again, the haze in her mind clearing up just enough to allow her to properly comprehend what was happening now. She blinked, taking a deep breath before replying. The act hurt, of course, but that was just a reminder of how battered she was.
I must've broken a rib... or three, she mused to herself. Injuries weren't too terribly uncommon for her now, though even she had to admit she'd not been beaten this badly in quite a long time. Not since meeting Corvou, at least. However, at the mention of a hospital she shook her head slowly. "N-No," Arceus damn it all, it hurt to even speak, "I'll be... I'll be fine," her voice was still rather soft, on account only now by the fact that it hurt immensely for her to speak any louder. Stubborn as she was though, she wasn't about to admit her weakness in front of a stranger. If anything, she'd end up making a hospital trip herself after all was said and done.
Granted she was doubting that she'd have the ability to even get that far in the first place. She was keenly aware of her limits physically, and this was pushing it heavily. The lack of fatigue clouding her mind allowed her to realize that instantly, alongside knowing that she'd probably end up passing out as a result of all of it as well. To boot, she most definitely had a concussion. How bad of one, she didn't know, but now that the fatigue had left her somewhat she was becoming aware of a few of her other symptoms: the headache, her severe lack of proper balance, and the fact that she had no idea where exactly she was in this area when she usually knew it rather well. That combined with her currently being at or even past her limits made her well overdue for a complete blackout at this point.
And she would rather not have this woman around for when that happened.

Her voice was quiet, and it didn't take rocket science to deduce that the girl was far more hurt than what she was letting on. Lan Chi hummed to herself, only to offer a small smile in response to the girl's initial reluctance. "Shh~.." and with that, Lan raised a finger to gently hold before the girl's lips. The woman's amber gaze seemed to hover her figure for a brief moment before shaking her head gently. "... I won't take you to a hospital, then. However, it'd be better for you if you took.. A moment to rest, mmn?" Surely, she hoped that the girl could manage that much. "I'm sure that your body hurts right now so--.. It's best for you to rest. It's alright, I have a full eternity." And the sad thing is that she wasn't lying. Lan Chi mused to herself in silence, reflecting off the earlier, softer statement she made. Hah.. Funny how she was finding it sad, now. But now wasn't the time for self-pity; there was a young woman here who looked like she needed help. And though the latter seemed less than willing to comply, that doesn't stop the Florges woman from trying her best to encouraging her to stay still. [break][break]
"I won't take you to a hospital, alright? Although it wouldn't bode well for me if a young woman such as yourself were to keel over, no?" And with that, her gaze softened as a warm smile crept onto her lips. "... You're not in danger, I promise. So just take it easy for now, mmn?" She knows that she sounds repetitive now. Perhaps she sounds like a mother, perhaps she sounds like an annoying stranger who decided to help out. Perhaps her help was less than welcome, and perhaps she seemed to only be causing more mental stress for the young woman. Whatever it was, it didn't discourage Lan Chi from bringing her hands up with a welcoming smile. The grassy terrain only grew stronger under her bare feet, emphasizing a subtle yet sweet scent from below. "So for the time being.. Please work with me here. Please, Ishini?" Perhaps she wasn't close enough to use her first name yet, however Lan Chi preferred to be casual over formalities; especially when the other party looked as though she was about to kick the bucket.[break][break]
And with that, the woman held her arms out for the girl to take - hopefully to stabilize her posture and stance. She was trying to offer help, she was honestly trying her best to help her. However for the many years that Lan Chi has been alive, she knows it's misconduct to force something on someone. For the longest time, she knows to never force help upon someone who doesn't want it - down to the core, that is. However she's also learned that they can't turn down help if they were quiet. If they couldn't give her a no, technically speaking, they didn't decline her offer for help. "I'm trying to make this easy on you, love. I think the both of us would prefer to have you pass out, knowing you'll have help, rather than to pass out." Her eyes narrow side to side, briefly glancing at their surroundings. [break][break]

[attr="class","maind"][attr="class","umad"]Ishi didn't quite know how to react in this situation. She'd had people offer to help her, of course, but never so calmly. Never in such a welcoming manner. It was always vast concern outweighing everything else, and at this point pity was the one thing the wolf wasn't willing to accept in the slightest. Granted she didn't have the strength to bite back at this point.
In fact, once the scent hit her she found herself without the strength to stand at all. Moving to take a step only to find her legs buckling beneath her as she suddenly fell with a grunt, pain lancing through her body and all her broken bones. She still couldn't remember the last time she'd been hurt this badly. There'd been times where it had been similar... or even worse, though that memory in particular wasn't one she wished to allow to surface right now. She stared up at the strange woman, her decidedly neutral expression passively seeming to display something of a glare despite whatever intentions the wolf may have actually had. Were it any other situation she'd have probably acted a bit more violently, seeing as how she'd fallen into the woman's arms without in any way meaning to.
Why.
Why was this stranger deciding to help her in such a way? There was nothing that the wolf had done to deserve any sort of kindness anymore, in fact all she'd done would've more than not invoked yet more pain down upon her. She'd left all that she'd loved because of a moment of weakness, irrevocably damaged one of the most meaningful relationships she'd ever had the chance to be a part of, and had taken the grief and pain from that only to seek out more pain. Mostly to herself, to feed whatever sick demon lay within her that kept telling her she was deserving of all of the hell she had to deal with.
Lan, however much she may have been desiring to give aid to the wolf, would probably not be able to heal much more than the physical wounds. Help a few of the various cuts on the Mightyena's body join in the scores of scars that already decorated majority of her body.
Beyond that, it would be a matter of convincing the girl that life would be better than simply dying at this stage in her life- which would quickly prove to be a painful process in and of itself with the current state the girl was in.
