TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

we're officially re-opened! come check out our event, the pokeathlon forever to enjoy some fresh restart activities. let leap know if there are any skin bugs, and they'll be sorted out accordingly!
Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!
tbe: take two! is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise. the current skin was created by pharaoh leap using font icons primarily from ion icons and fonts from google fonts. banner art by vav of pixiv. characters, with the exception of canons from the manga, belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours.

[attr="class","paci"]
[attr="class","pacpa"]Her eyes skimmed the contents of the folder for the umpteenth time that evening. Pursing her lips and giving the small cup in her hand a quick tap, she hummed softly. This would be a troublesome pursuit and if not handled properly, it would cause trouble for others let alone herself. A click of her tongue followed as the folder was closed. She wasn't particularly interested in business pursuits in the face of a personal day, although it seemed as if her business life was bleeding into her personal one. Erin Caulfield. The name seemed to circle amidst other thoughts. An influential young woman who seemed to know exactly how to throw about her capital to ensure benefactors, eager to line their pockets, would listen.
Not all were the same, however, she couldn't always be so sure of one's intentions. Her thoughts were interrupted as the waitress with a rather sunny disposition greeted her once again. Reminding her that a rather inconspicuous car was parked in the same distance from the cafe. Thalia's eyes brightened and a soft giggle threatened to leave her lips before she could utter her thanks to the woman. Her impression of Erin Caulfield was improving by the minute though to what degree, she wasn't at the liberty to say. The hostess that she tasked with greeting her companion was doing a great show of it and Thalia resisted the urge to smile behind her cup. Slipping the folder into her bag and taking out a book to which she opened to a page that was poocheyena-eared.
Some habits never die, I wonder how they are—
Her train of thought came to a halt as a rather soft voice called out to her. Setting her cup down softly against the table, she steepled her fingers and rested her chin on top of them. Erin was the picture of a person who wanted to receive a good result. It was charming if not a little cute at how far the latter had gone to impress her.
"Café Sonata, if I'm remembering correctly," she said. "It was one of my favorite places to frequent with my mother. Though, forgive me for the sentimentality in picking the venue for our meeting."
Thalia's hands slipped down onto her lap as she leaned back in her chair. Their eyes met but it was brief. Not surprising, if Thalia was to be honest, many people refused to look her in the eyes. Some believed her to be blind or thought it to be a condition brought upon by the nature of her birth. Either way, it wasn't a hindrance to a conversation.
"I understand if you may feel a sense of anxiety, Miss Caulfield. But please let me assure you that this is a personal meeting rather one of formality."
With those words said, she motioned for the hostess to return to their table.
"If we are to work so closely, I would like to become acquainted with who you are as a person rather than an asset."
She looked to Erin and smiled softly though taking the time to look away as the hostess approached.
"Forgive me if I'm overstepping my boundaries, but do you sell Tapu Cocoa and Lava Cookies?"
She had a powerful hunger for Tapu Cocoa. ERIN CAULFIELD

This'll be the first of many plotter posts, so I'll try to keep it brief.
I'm basically proposing a possibly failed fiancee plot.
Thalia is the co-founder of PH Genetics and is inheriting her parents' wealth once they've stepped down from their position in another pharmaceutical company that they've created from the ground up. Basically, she's rolling in dough and just doesn't care. Her parents on the other hand want grandbabies and for her to marry someone that is going to make them proud. They probably offered the idea to James and set up a meeting for the two of them to which Thalia takes one look at him and just greets him as if he's a friend.
Despite everything that other people may think of her, Thalia is perceptive.
She reads up on people and studies their body language when she's talking to them. James for one doesn't seem as if he's interested in being a relationship with anyone else and two, he seems like a busy man who hasn't got all day. Her parents probably adore him and after his first betrothal didn't go so well, they're hoping to snag him for this second try.
And Thalia isn't having it.
For one, she wants to be free to choose someone on her own.
For two, despite their positions, they're both people and she knows very well what it means to not be able to be with the person you adore.
I could see her telling them that she wants to know James more before she decides to do anything of the sort with him. Then out of ear shot, she's just like: "Don't worry, they're harmless."
Thalia probably wouldn't have bothered to bring up Harper or say anything about her but I think she'd be willing to listen to anything James wanted to say. And if a touchy subject was brought up and he freaked out on her, she wouldn't really respond back with anger. More of calm contemplation.
They're polar opposites in a lot of ways which makes me question how they'd interact with each other at all.
BUT if this plot is no good, I also thought of the two of them probably just being co-workers or old friends from their school days and seeing one another quite a bit. She invites him over, probably makes him lunch and just talks to him whenever she gets the chance. Probably questions whether she wants to speak to him about the project that she's cooking up or if she wants to keep it a secret from him still.
Sorry, this is a whole lot of jumbled ideas but if you can make sense of it, tell me what you think and yeup!
I am Thalia Grayson and it is a delight to make your acquaintance. I don't have much time to entertain you as I'd like to. There are matters that must be addressed before the day's end. If there are any questions that you would like to ask me, please save them for the narrator. They're a very nervous fellow so do be patient while waiting for responses.[break][break] When I was a little girl, my mother told me that I was very patient and calm with the world around me. I never asked for much because I did not see a reason to haste. Haste made for terrible results and I wanted to obtain the best of which I am capable of achieving. Yes, I'm aware that it is strange for a child to be so obedient even in their youth. I can't recall a time that I have ever acted in a manner less of what my father believed to be my station.[break][break] Temper tantrums, crying and even heated arguments seemed to be beyond my understanding. I have always been a logical person and self-critical at that. Every move that I make and breath that I take is made with a calculating mind. I feel as if there is another being residing within my body and for it to co-exist with my own, I took on various characteristics.[break][break] Sadly, I am quite picky with the people that I choose to associate with and the habits that I partake in. It is only out of interest that I operate and an arbitrary heart along with a blunt way of speech tends to harm others more than it helps. There was once a time that I overextended myself to please others. I wanted everyone around me to be happy even if it was at the cost of my own heart.[break][break] "Do you love your mother?"[break] "Do you love your brother?"[break] "Do you love your father?"[break][break] Everyone asks those questions but they never asked me if I loved myself. They tried to hide the truth behind my life. I was born in silence and under such a constricting way of "love", I felt as though I never lived. Then I met them and I felt alive for the first time. Strange how others who don't share the same blood feel more like family than your own.[break][break] I'd never say these words to anyone else but I will confess them to you while my heart is open to the idea. Reserved is how I would describe myself. It is hard to open a heart that has been wounded so many times. But it's possible. [break][break] So please, won't you sit down and listen to me?
She was born in silence. A soft whisper on the wind carrying the cries of mourners as they crowded around the silent. She was to be laid to rest in the day to come. Neither parent able to speak to the other or say her name aloud in fear that their wish for her to awaken would be unanswered. A spectator to the birth remained in the shadows and stalked away as the child's room door was closed. The click reverberating through her mother's heart along with the woe of losing what could have been.[break][break] The waves crashing against the shore and a moon overhanging were her first sights and sounds. A deafening cry breaking the still of night; hurried pace and short breaths following. A pond made behind their home was untouched aside from an Absol which laid curled around a sleeping infant. Her father pulled her close away from the Pokemon as her mother shooed it away but it refused to move. With soft sniffles and a whimper, she came to life under the night sky.[break][break] Doctors baffled and parents perturbed as the infant grew into a kind-hearted child instead of falling immobile, still as the day she was born.[break][break] They named her Thalia which meant to blossom and just as her namesake described, she was ever changing. Never one to give her parents a fuss even as they left their home of Poni Island to Irisia where her father took on a new job. She busied herself with her passions and continued to move forward even when the odds were against her. Her mother develed in charity although it was only for show. She was far from being a cruel woman but her mind was on more than just aiding those less fortunate. She desired power that could be passed on to her daughter and the one she would marry. [break][break] Heirs.[break] Progression.[break] Absolution.[break][break] She wanted all these things and more. Even to the point where she spoke to her husband over adopting other children under the precedence of giving Thalia siblings. In truth, the children that she gathered together were far more than just "sibings". They were experiments. Gijinkas, artificial and naturally made. Thalia watched her mother on many nights examine her siblings before bed and reassuring her that it was for their own benefit. [break][break] Thalia was never one to lie to her parents and she expected the same respect from them as well. To say that she was sorely disappointed was an understatement and that she was never one to lie was a mistruth. There was a secret that she'd kept from her parents from the moment that she could speak. A voice in the back of her mind aiding her in her tasks and telling her that things would be alright. It quelled her anger with a cooling hand and melted away her worries with soft words.[break][break] She wasn't sure of the voice's name. A conscience is what she called it but it felt like so much more. A part of her that had come alive. Another piece of her.[break][break] The years passed and her siblings went their separate ways while Thalia grew into a young woman. Her father noticed that she was aging abnormally. Although her body was growing, Thalia didn't seem to be showing any of the woes that came with aging. And she didn't seem to understand her position.[break][break] Thalia befriended a young blind child from a no-name place. They weren't anyone important but she thought of them as the entire world. He knew that the relationship was dangerous to his daughter's future but she was happy. Her studying habits didn't change and neither did the softness to her gaze or her smile but he could tell that she was happier.[break][break] Thalia moved away from her parents to her own estate. Co-founding a company with another person that she met through the grapevine of connections. And to his surprise when he came to visit her, that person was there as well. They acted as though they had been living together for quite some time. He didn't miss his daughter's slight smile or the way she stepped closer to them, brushing her fingers against their arm. His wife hadn't missed it as well.[break][break] They tried to dissuade her from continuing such a relationship. A young woman with her entire life ahead of her, the co-founder of a company regalded by the world at that for their exploits in medicine, settling down with a sailor of all things. Thalia didn't respond after their case was stated but when she did, her mother was livid. A slap sounded throughout the room and the girl's form wavered before turning into a Ditto which had been wounded by Thalia's mother. Their real daughter emerged from another room adjacent to the one that they "talked" in. Gathering the injured Ditto in her arms, she stared at them with the same love and affection in her eyes. And in the softest voice, she said.[break][break] "Get out." [break][break] It had been a few years since Thalia last saw her parents. They called her, yes, but she rarely responded. As for the sailor who captured her heart — theirs was lost to the sea.[break][break] She didn't agree with Parallax's methods. But they were effective. What they wanted was impossible to achieve but she wasn't going to argue with the results. If she could accomplish her goal then all else would fall into place.[break][break] Running her fingers through Caspian's hair after a nightmare consumed their dreams, the silence was one that Thalia was comfortable with, and she hoped that it was telling her that they were moving towards better things.
