TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

we're officially re-opened! come check out our event, the pokeathlon forever to enjoy some fresh restart activities. let leap know if there are any skin bugs, and they'll be sorted out accordingly!
Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!
tbe: take two! is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise. the current skin was created by pharaoh leap using font icons primarily from ion icons and fonts from google fonts. banner art by vav of pixiv. characters, with the exception of canons from the manga, belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours.
Akemi and Olivia I love all of those ideas! I love the idea of a mother/child relationship with Akemi, too, because Akemi is, like... a trainwreck. Small grass type, could use mom, please make Akemi at least mildly more practical. I'd also love a thread in which Olivia's like "hey you're Celebi" and Akemi is like "yes! Is this... is this new?" And really, having them be a combination of cute and manipulative is honestly the best possible thing? Although Akemi will always make a terrible rival, because they'd just not get it. Do you want to go ahead and start a thread, or should I?
Olivia Valentine Mahgaden + Akemi Okay, so Akemi is occasionally the most clueless person ever and would probably fail to notice even the most blatant of manipulations. Their opinion on healing even the worst of people is "as long as you ask and don't literally force me to do it using the feathers of the rainbow bird and deep ocean bird I'll do it". This is, unfortunately, also their current opinion on things like actual time travel, though they WILL stop it if it gets to be something that will get Dialga mad at them. That, and there's always the risk, without the feathers of Lugia and Ho-oh, of getting lost in time and going insane if you're not actually Celebi. Which Akemi is. Actually Celebi. 100% Celebi, in fact, without even a shred of the previous human soul there. So to the kind-of-Magearna that is Olivia, there's probably something off about Akemi. Noticeably off. I mean, other than their tendency to start talking about things that haven't happened and weird healing powers.
But here's the thing- I've decided that, mostly, Akemi has completely forgotten to mention that they're a literally ageless legendary that has always existed, will always exist, and might have a base age that's older than most legendaries due to excessive time travel, having lived through a few time loops, ect. Nope. They just assumed they'd already mentioned it. (They hadn't.) So I imagine some shennanigans go on before one of the intelligent Crowns is like "wait, healing, plants, time travel, I'm a legendary and reacting to them, they keep on getting called "Celi" by Pandora... wait..." And Akemi would just be like "I already told you?" It'll be fun.
But yeah. Manipulate the time god to your heart's content, only consequences will be that you'll end up with a Meganium glaring at you quite often. Because, if anything, Orchid at least is sensible. Too bad she's a Pokemon.
Oooooh, awesome! Since they're both legendaries they'd be able to like sense one another and I'm pretty sure Olivia would have gotten an idea as to whom Akemi was. Maybe we can have a thread where Olivia confronts her and is like "so... you're celebi right" and just go from there. Once Olivia gets the confirmation she may start trying to get Akemi to do some time shenanigans that would further the Crown's goals while simultaneously furthering her own.
Although, with Magearna's personality integrated with her own, Olivia may start to develop a daughter/mother relationship with Akemi (which is how Nerea's & Olivia's relationship is atm) so we could do something like that? Plus, it'd offer some potential rivalry between Akemi and Nerea. Anyway, just me spitballing ideas.

[PTab=Summary]
[attr="class","scrollbox"]
[attr="class","subtitle"]The Queen
Olivia is a manipulative person with the necessary charisma to get what she needs done; yet, she also has the ambition and cruelty needed to not care who she steps on to get said things done. Her true persona, a woman who craves power and will do anything for it, is hidden behind a public one that is seemingly sympathetic for all and careful of what she says. It is this same persona that Magearna clings to. The poor sweet pokemon's personality was nearly wiped from existence when it tried to save Olivia and barely managed to survive by latching itself onto the gentler persona that Olivia shows to the public. The legendary pokemon's interference has also leaked into the cold hearted woman's true self, and Olivia is much softer than she once was... To those who deserve it. [break][break]
[attr="class","subtitle"]Abilities
Olivia, having since merged with Magearna, possesses some newfound abilities. Primarily, she is now empathetic. She can perceive the emotions, thoughts, or feelings of other humans AND pokemon. Besides that, she also has access to some of Magearna's moves: Heart Swap -- allows her to switch the souls of other beings human or pokemon, Aura Sphere -- her new found empathy is based on being able to see and read auras thus also allowing her to access it offensively, Fleur Cannon -- she can unleash a deadly beam of fairy energy from her hands but doing so will cause her to faint from the amount of energy used, and Pain Split -- still retaining Magearna's ability to heal by sacrificing her own health Olivia can overexert herself and needs to be careful when using said move. [break][break] Her physical form has changed as well from the merge. Olivia's body is now extremely durable, as tough as steel, and her skin is cool to the touch. However, she is now extra sensitive to fire and must be weary of it.

[PTab=Friends]
[attr="class","scrollbox"]
Friends are what Olivia consider one of the most valuable things in the world, especially for someone as manipulative as her. People are the currency she deals with, and the more friends you have, the richer you are. If she wants something -- when doesn't she -- Olivia will call a few favors through the many friends she has to make sure she gets what she wants. Plus, the larger her network, the better publicity she can get for The Crown.
[attr="class","sbottom"]
[/PTab]
[PTab=Enemies]
[attr="class","scrollbox"]
The sweet and bitter taste Olivia gets from an enemy is different, that's for sure. When one crosses Olivia, they should expect a long and complicated with the woman who plays with people's emotions for fun. She will do everything in her power to manipulate their friends, family, and lovers into detesting them. By the time Olivia is done with someone who dares cross her, they'll be coming to her, begging for a single friend.
[attr="class","sbottom"]
[/PTab]
[PTab=Lovers]
[attr="class","scrollbox"]
Love is a lie. That's what Olivia has always believed, anyway. She has never truly loved someone, nor has she ever felt that someone loved her. That isn't to say no one has ever told them they love her, or vice versa, but she just did not consider those words real. If the word "love" ever comes out of her mouth, expect it to be a lie. People like to her they're loved, so why not please them to get where she needs to be or what she wants? It's only logical.

♕
[attr="class","humour"]It was time. The large convention center near the beach in New Veherna had been rented out for a very special event; A public rally for The Crown. While rumors had been spreading over the last few months of talk of a helpful team sprouting out in the wreckage, there had been no official sightings. It wasn't until about a week ago when flyers suddenly appeared over night that the people of Lyeant had any real proof of the group. "The Coronation: An Open Invitation", the flyers read. A picture of a simple golden crown was in the background while the words were in a brilliant sapphire blue. Underneath the main title was information regarding the location and time, along with an outline of the event. It was to be a public performance of sorts with snacks and refreshments available and it was kid friendly. "No battling shall take place at this event.", was what most people would see however, as it was bolded for that very reason. Olivia did not want any hoodlums ruining the event and she had taken extra precautions to prevent it from happening, including having her knights surround the convention center.
As the event started, people who attended would find themselves guided to the main stage where many tables with seats were already being filled by interested attendees. The curtain to the main stage had been replaced with a dark navy blue over the traditional red and a large and ornate throne sat there as well. Lining the stage were Knights of the Crown clad in decorative armor and pokeballs at hand. Standing behind said curtain was the acting leader of the Crown, Olivia Valentine Mahgaden. She was wearing an elegant ecru colored dress with embroidered waves of the sea along the bottom of it in silver and platinum, encrusted with sapphire and diamonds. On top of that she wore "The Robe of the Royal" which was a long flowing silver silk velvet robe that dragged along the ground behind her. It was bordered with a similar design as to that on the dress and in the center lay the symbol of the group, ♕. The outfit definitely made a statement and would be sure to keep all eyes on her the moment the curtains opened. With her high heels adding a good four inches to her height, Olivia was a regal sight to see. The brunette checked a mirror backstage and with her hair curled and falling down around her face she looked as if she was getting ready for the runway. As she admired her looks, the sparkle of the small crown sitting on a velvet pillow caught her eye. It was not time. Not yet. She turned her head to check the pearl earrings and to make sure the pearl necklace matched and everything was in place. Of course, it was.
In front of the curtain, a handsome Knight prepared the rather ceremonious introduction. The first half of the rally was more a show than anything else. The young man called to the people, saying something along the lines of, "Sirs, I here present unto you Olivia Valentine Mahgaden, your undoubted King Queen. Wherefore all you who are come this day to do your homage and service, are you willing to do the same?" Which the audience members, having received a small flyer upon entering with instructions on what to do, would then accept. Some Knights were going around the audience as this happened carrying small trays of champagne and sparkling cider for the crown to refresh themselves with while the whole process took place. It was like a dinner and a show, except champagne instead of dinner.
The curtain opened and the spotlight found its target, Olivia, and her smile seemed to dazzle as she looked out at the audience. A few of the younger children oohed and awed at the sight of Olivia in her full coronation gown while some of the older gentlemen who had a little too much champagne whistled (and were then promptly escorted out by a Knight at hand). Each step she took towards the front of the stage was filled with confidence and power, her chin held high as she strode to her designated spot. Once she took her spot in front of the throne, the Lady Commander of the Magicians approached her with a young Apprentice following behind, carrying a velvet pillow on which a sparkling crown sat.
A spotlight found its mark on the two of them as the Lady Commander of the Magicians then asked, "Will you solemnly promise and swear to protect the Peoples of Irisia, Eirenhyre, New Veherna, and of those scattered in the Wreckage, according to their respective laws and customs?"
"I solemnly promise so to do." Olivia responded without hesitation.
"Will you to your power cause Law and Justice, in Mercy, to be executed in all your judgments?"
"I will."
"Will you to the utmost of your power maintain the Arches of the Crown? Will you, to the utmost of your power, maintain in the Lyeant Region the sanctity of life? Will you maintain and preserve inviolable the settlement of the Crown, and the doctrine, discipline, and government thereof, as established? And will you preserve unto the Lords and Ladies and Magicians and Physicians and Knights of the Crown there committed to their charge, all such rights and privileges, as by law do or shall appertain to them or any of them?"
"All this I promise to do. The things which I have here before promised, I will perform, and keep. So help me Arceus."
All that said and done, Olivia finally sat in the throne where the Lady Commander of the Magicians placed the golden jeweled crown atop her head. It was quite the sight to see and flashes from cameras flashed in the crowd as they tried to get a picture of the moment. For most of them, this was the first live entertainment they had ever experienced.
"Welcome!" She said as she stood, her voice echoing across the hall because of a mic attached to her ear. Olivia gestured across the crowd with a gloved hand and added, "It is such a pleasure to see all these lovely faces here tonight. I'm so glad to see so many people interested in The Crown. In hearing us out." Her blue eyes, usually varying from shades of aquamarine to that of the ocean before a storm, seemed to be an almost cyan hue. A look mixed with a small hint of sadness at the words she was about to say crossed her face as she spoke, "All of you have gathered to watch my coronation, yes, but with this honor I have received I also have a duty. A duty to inform you of the dire situation happening just outside the grand walls of this city." She paused for a moment, gauging the reactions of those in the crowing before continuing, "While most of you sitting here may have forgotten the terror that once struck this region -- the living nightmare it entailed -- there are those who are not as lucky. We sit here, living a lavish experience if only for a moment, for a reason. What you all have just witness, just taken part of, just lived, is something most of you have heard of but never seen. Never even thought you would get the chance to see."
Olivia took a few steps forward and asked, "I ask you, all of you but the young princes and princesses especially, did you ever wish to be a queen or king?" The Knights that were guarding the area in front of the stage moved to reveal a pile of miniature crowns perfectly sized for kids. Squeals and screams of excitement were her answers as children ran up to the front of the stage. The Queen let out a light hearted laugh and said, "Here we have our answer. And you Queens and Kings who bore these fine heirs, you are happy for them, no? Happy they get to experience this?" Parents nodded and clapped in response. "Now, if you would, imagine all of this fun and excitement... gone. Instead replaced by fear and despair."
"That is the injustice for those that live outside the walls of our fine cities. They wish to live your lives. Not this one I have just shown you. It is but a fleeting dream to be able to live with a roof above their head and food in their bellies. Their children yearn for school and safety. Just as what you see before you seems fanciful and unrealistic is what living a life like you do in this city seems to them. To those who lost everything to the war and still live in the wreckage."
"It is for this reason The Crown exist. To help our fellows who are in need whilst also preserving and restoring the natural beauty that is life to the death ridden lands of the Wreckage. As we draw this event to a close my lasting memory of it will be, not only the solemnity and beauty of the ceremony, but the smiles and sincerity of your faces. Of the hope and affection I see in this room for those not as happy as us." The words she spoke were heartfelt and sincere as the single tear that fell from her face.
A clap, followed by another, and another, until a tidal wave roar filled the hall. The crowned brunette smiled and waited a few minutes for the applause to end until she said, "Thank you all, truly, for your support and attendance. Thank you for hearing my-- " Olivia motioned to the other Crown members sitting at tables around the stage before continuing, "-- our cause. If any of you have any questions or concerns, I am more than happy to take them at this moment."

The Princess
The birth of the girl Olivia Mahgaden was not a welcome one for her parents. They loved her, of course, but it was an unexpected accident. Her parents were already struggling as it was to pay the bills and with an infant needing its own expenses such as diapers, bottles, a crib, and more; The two Mahgadens would have their hands full raising their newly born daughter. And oh was she a handful. Crying all night, for seemingly no reason, the two parents were up to their wits end trying to keep the ever hungry baby pleased. Sometimes, in the middle of the night when the mother was exhausted and barely able to keep herself standing to feed the parasite, she thought to herself maybe the baby did it on purpose. Just to keep them awake. [break][break] Life growing up in the ghettos of Slateport was horrible for the young diva, Olivia. The clothes she wore were cheap, itchy, and more often than not, dirty. At school, the demons other children would make fun of her ragtag appearance and often pulled at the oversized pants she wore to make her trip. It was enough to make the girl cry and beg to her dirt poor parents that she needed better clothing. Eager to please their daughter, and to make the other parents at the school seem them as equals, they upgraded her wardrobe. Her parents were barely able to keep up with the young girls spending habits, really how much could a ten year old spend?, and so she had to take to other incomes. Not her own, of course. Olivia went to all of her teachers telling them varying degrees of the same thing, like, "Mommy drinks too much and can't help it that Daddy gets mad and sometimes he gets mad and hits her..." Oh how the money came rolling in. As was her request, the adults did mention anything to her parents or the authorities and only paid her the precious money she wanted in cash. [break][break] High school was a whole different story for the manipulating teen. It soon became apparent to Olivia that her particular skill set of manipulation and lying was perfect for the high school hierarchy. The only thing she lacked was the beauty some of the other girls possessed. The cheer squad, when she auditioned, laughed at her and quite literally told her off. It was a horrible experience that reminded her of her days in grade school, causing her to cry at the try out, further ruining her reputation and any chance she had at becoming popular. Olivia would have her revenge on those girls one day, that much she knew. With her high school career more or less non existent, Olivia took to updating her fashion sense even more, wearing the most expensive items and the latest designer wear. Whether the cheerleaders or other popular wanted to admit it or not, that girl had an excellent sense of fashion. They weren't the only ones to notice, though, because as soon as Olivia graduated high school a small time modeling agency picked her up. Not for her face, there were far prettier ones, or her body, she was considered fat in their social circles; but for her sense of fashion that the other girls just didn't have. The average model needed someone to think for her in any situation and that included fashion. Olivia, on the other hand, was different and it was something the agency liked. [break][break] Her life as a model was short lived for a few reasons, the most important seeing a stray Aqua flyer. Olivia had been in Sootopolis working at a shoot when she passed by a street lamp with a small flyer attached to it. Team Aqua, huh. Of course the brunette had heard of them, if only whispers. There were a few hours to kill before she had her shoots, so why not? What she saw, well, it was mind blowing in a way. The event had clearly been funded by the Team, and from what Olivia could tell, they had bank. As she listened to the pathetic speech, she couldn't help but fantasize about how the resources could be used better. Her judgmental eyes passed over the few grunts at the event and the realization came over her then. She, Olivia, could do so much better with this team in her hand. She quit her job as a model and went back to her hometown of Slateport with one mission in mind, to join Team Aqua. Imagine her surprise, and utter humiliation, when she was told she jut didn't have "the look". Fury boiled inside the now jobless brunette, but being her usual self, offered the grunt at the door a smirk before turning on her heels. She had a plan. Using some of the connections she had made as a model, and some left over money, Olivia got around to preparing an extravagant fashion show to be hosted, and a few select people in Aqua were given invitations, including the one who had rejected her. Once they arrived, they watched the fashion show as usual, and towards the end, were given something that would have the saltiest of sailors gasping at. Coming onto the catwalk, Olivia strutted her stuff in the colors of Aqua. Donning an aquamarine cocktail dress, with silver stilettos, she was followed by an entourage of models in the same Aqua colors: Blue, teal, aquamarine; it was all in the wardrobe consisted of. Doing a quick turn and dead drop, she was eye to with the head of the local recruitment center, and asked one question, the same smirk from earlier on her face, "So I don't have the look?"
The Coronation
The brunette's time in Aqua was spent well and Olivia swiftly rose through the ranks. Her ambition was matched only by her determination to become the leader of the band of misfits. It wasn't easy work not was it quickly done, but eventually Olivia found herself just below an admin of Team Aqua with a loyal entourage behind her. They followed her word to the dot and were extremely dedicated to her. This loyalty was so fierce that it sparked rumors throughout the grunts. Was she going to be a new admin? Was she going to be the new leader? Was she going to replace Archie? These rumors quickly spread to the upper workings of Aqua and when the admins caught wind of it they were furious. This upstart thought she was better than them? It was time to show her who was boss. [break][break] Olivia eventually was given a top secret mission by Shelly herself: Find and retrieve a mysterious artifact said to be capable of powering a weapon strong enough to bend the sea to their will. She would be allowed to bring along her most trusted advisors. A prodigal scientist researching different pokemon who lived in the sea and a young woman with powerful psychic abilities, both of which Olivia recruited personally. The three of them alone would go on this mission. Olivia saw it as a simple task and was more than ready to find this relic. Ready to depart with her small team, she bid farewell to the admins and promised a swift and successful mission. [break][break] Whilst the preparations for the ship was being done Olivia gathered her advisors to consult them. The marine biologist was excited to go and see the new and different marine pokemon but the psychic was not. She said she had a vision foretelling great misfortune for the trio and desperately begged Olivia to reconsider. It wasn't simply a matter of failing the mission she claimed, but a matter of life or death. Olivia assured her that she would cancel the mission and report to the admins in order to placate the psychic. She lied. At the crack of dawn the next day Olivia and the scientist departed to set off for the adventure of a lifetime. In her eyes, she was doing the right thing. It was best to leave her behind rather than have her worry throughout the whole trip. [break][break] Their trip began with them exploring the many isles of Hoenn, followed by the icy caps of Sinnoh, until they were forced to Kanto. It had been nearly a year into their exploration and they had yet to find anything detailing where to find this mysterious item. Olivia and the scientist made their way to Cinnabar to discuss with the local Aqua outpost team of any potential findings on the surrounding islands. A member there recommended venturing to the Seafoam Islands and searching the vast cave system. It was also here that the psychic had caught up with them. She warned Olivia once more that only death awaited her on this journey, but the ambitious Aqua member ignored her once more. With no other leads, the scientist and Olivia departed for the twin islands. A month passed and only Olivia returned, shaken by the events that had occurred and refusing to discuss them with the psychic who had once warned her. The other members at Cinnabar agreed she should give up on her mission but she refused. Instead, they compromised that she would take a temporary medical leave of absence while her wounds healed. [break][break] Olivia found herself bound to a beachside home Aqua provided for her alongside the psychic whose visions she had ignored. The two of them lived a quiet domestic life for a few months as Olivia tried to recover. The unspoken question as to what happened to the scientist never came up, but Olivia could feel the psychic's eyes on her at all times. There was so much that woman knew and concerned herself with; Olivia had no wish to give her more to worry herself with. When the time came for Olivia to leave, the psychic did as she had done twice before and implored her to stay lest she come face to face with death again. And just as before, Olivia set off in secret. She had given up too much time. Lost too many relationships, too many friends, to give up. [break][break] It took another two years until Olivia found herself in Kalos, spelunking through a cave in some mysterious plateau. She had followed up on a local legend about a magical sphere hidden in the depths of the earth. The brunette and her pokemon explored valiantly and seemingly for no reason until they reached a large cavern. It seemed enough to cross in her eyes. Ordering her pokemon to create a bridge of water and flash freeze it, she crossed it determined that her prize was on the other side. [break][break] She wouldn't know. Halfway across the frozen bridge it cracked and as she fell, her pokemon cried out for her. So this was it. This was how she would die. She lost a friend who was like a daughter to her, she lost a friend who died, and now she was losing her pokemon too. Olivia prayed someone would find their pokeballs soon. She contemplated these things as she fell, for what felt forever, until suddently it stopped. She stopped. [break][break] The last thing Olivia Mahgaden saw before she awoke was a small metallic ball opening to reveal a shining light.
The Queen
A new person awoke after that fall. A person that wasn't completely Olivia. She still retained her name, yes but also went by Valentine as well. For the first few hours of their existence, they wrestled for control of the body with Olivia eventually winning with her dominant personality. The Magearna stood no chance to overwhelming her. [break][break] Alive and well, with new found power and empathy, Olivia quickly made haste for her ship. She was done with Aqua. She was done with her past life. The newly risen Olivia set off for the Lyeant region where opportunity was abound. Some sailors told her of the rising factions and political games at play, the perfect playground for her and Magearna.
