TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!
tbe: take two! is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise. the current skin was created by pharaoh leap using font icons primarily from ion icons and fonts from google fonts. banner art by vav of pixiv. characters, with the exception of canons from the manga, belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours.

[attr="class","humour"]It didn't take a psychic to figure out what Nerea was hinting at, although being an aura reading empath did help. The ashes she spoke of were just that; skeletons so deep in the closet that Olivia had them burned and scattered into the winds never to return. If what the clairvoyant said was true, however, then the skeletons were back to haunt her. It wouldn't be the first time her past came back in such a way, the Queen mused, thinking back to when her dear long thought dead Laney returned to her.
That was not the concern for now though. Nerea was. She was troubled by something, that much was obvious. Olivia felt a pang of guilt at her words. Even before becoming one with Magearna, the brunette always had a soft spot for Nerea. But now, for Olivia to hear that she had caused the poor psychic such worry, truly brought pains to her cold heart.
The onslaught of feelings was still something Olivia needed to get used to. Her hands trembled as she held the steaming cup, miniature waves rippling through the sea of tea before crashing into the porcelain walls. For it wasn’t just her own newfound range of emotions Olivia felt, but also Nerea’s. She could literally feeling the anxiety and worry cascading from the redheaded girl and it was as if she were standing beneath a freezing waterfall.
Gaining a grip on herself, Olivia managed to close her eyes and sip on the tea to soothe herself. The warmth spread through her body until Nerea’s words cut through the warmth like a sword through flesh. Olivia’s eyes snapped open at her words and the usual clear blue of her eyes was cloudy and fogged with pain; not her own, but Nerea’s.
“What of Cinnabar?” Olivia asked, her voice calm…. Like the calm before a storm.
Come on, it's Xerneas. The life pokemon, the pokemon that literally gives life? While she can't technically revive the dead, she can bring back those who are just on that boundary (like say if they are suffering from an illness or if they are badly injured). Odds are that she would have joined by following the Celebi over there, and they're still trying to get a better grasp on today's modern society.

I really don't see the need for all the hostility or abrasiveness, maybe reconsider how you word things Deimos? Anyway, aside from the rather rude comments made earlier, I think we could use some clarification from staff. I made my assumptions based on current information that is available to us. We know a civil war is brewing but we don't the extent to what kind of "war" it really is. Are cities being bombarded? Is there open battles in the streets? Do citizens risk their lives for the basic necessities of life? We don't know. What we do know is that the three factions are more or less at each others' throats without a full blown out war happening. It'd be great if any staff member could give us some clarification seeing as this plot will need some kind of staff interference before it becomes a large site plot.
Deimos, I'm not trying to give you a "good reason [for us to] not do this" but rather to get a better understanding of what exactly Ariel is trying to set up, as even she said she's trying to clarify and "rehash". Furthermore, no one is arguing -- although you do seem intent on doing so -- but rather discussing this idea that Ariel is developing, so my apologies if my insight or clarification wasn't what you were looking for, but I really don't remember addressing you [Deimos] so much as Ariel and don't particularly care for your opinion on whether or not you wish for me to be in this thread as it is addressed to all Republic members, not just those you deem fit.

It seems we're all misunderstanding one another and the plot. From what I've gathered from plot/setting info is that this is a civil war, yes, but it hasn't escalated to the point of violence. It's more so a "cold" civil war, with all of the action happening with the three factions vying for power. Again, this is just what I myself have gathered since there has been no mention of actual violence between the three so far. So in essence, this isn't like the Civil War that happened in America but more similar to the Cold War between America and Russia, each trying to one up another without any real violence happening. This may change in the future but who knows!
Now what Callista is saying, if I'm understanding this right, is that this idea is to extract individuals from the enemy factions? High profile individual and items and the like? Or saving political prisoners?Which again, isn't really an underground railroad sort of thing but an extraction mission as Callista said. On the other hand, if this is about helping people flee Irisia or Eirenhyre City I don't see how this is necessary. At the moment, people may freely leave and enter any city of their choosing without consequence. Why would they need assistance leaving if they can just leave themselves? The need for an "underground railroad" just seems unneeded at the current state that the plot is in. Maybe if things became more violent, yes, but I'm not too sure about now.
Of course we would need some more plot details from staff to confirm any of this, so maybe they should be involved?
Also it should be noted that the Underground Railroad was a very passive organization. Slaves fled, found a safe house, and waited until a conductor came to guide them. Members of the Underground Railroad did not actively go out and free slaves.

Hey, while this is an interesting idea I would just like to mention that The Crown sort of already does this. Their main goal, as opposed to the other groups, is to help refugees. Whether that be through relocation, offering shelter, protecting them, etc that's what they do. If you or anyone else would like some more information go ahead and look here.
As far as the underground railroad goes, why? None of the refugees are being hunted by people or even being thought about by any of the main factions so why would they need to be transferred to and from places in secret? Or smuggled? There really is no danger of doing it all out in the open. Even the other factions are actively being violent with one another yet.
Anyway, I just wanted to get the point across that there is already a group that does this. So if you'd be interested in working with The Crown for plot ideas or something I'd be all ears! I just wouldn't want another group or plot idea to come along and try to do what we're already doing lol. Sort of seems redundant and unnecessary.

[attr="class","humour"]It was like a tsunami crashing into a puddle. Olivia immediately sensed another legendary entering her domain and she was not happy about it. While Magearna's consciousness stirred upon sensing the other mythical pokemon and sought to welcome it, Olivia saw it as an insult. Surely what ever legendary could have sensed her presence and knew to turn back? This one, whomever it was, decided to venture further and further into her territory. The nerve.
Regardless of who it was, any stranger would be sure to be brought to her attention by one of her Knights soon enough. Then she could interrogate them in the privacy of her own tent. Sure enough a Knight called out to Olivia as she studied a map announcing a potential recruit. Not bothering to turn from the map, she ordered, "Let them in and keep guard at my door, Knight."
The sound of the flap of her tent closing was the cue for Olivia to turn to face the stranger and she was more than prepared to chew them out; but what she saw quite literally left her breathless. A hand covered her mouth so they wouldn't see it gaping wide open. It was like seeing a ghost. Her knees felt weak and with her other hand Olivia held onto the desk behind her with an iron grip to support herself. This couldn't be real. She couldn't be real.
This was the first time in all her years of life that Olivia Mahgaden had ever been left without words. Trying, and failing, to pull herself back together she stuttered out a name she hadn't spoken in years. "Glasses?"

[attr="class","humour"]Changing out out of the stuffy coronation dress was a blessing from Arceus itself. It was an expensive and elegant walking sauna and Olivia nearly tore the thing apart trying to get out of it, needing the assistance of two ladies in waiting. Once the dress was off she had the grunts take it away for preservation and display; the coronation of a Queen is a historical event and Olivia wanted to make sure her legacy would last. She watched as they took the dress to who knows where which finally gave the newly crowned Queen a moment to herself. She quickly changed into more comfortable clothing, a tank top bearing The Crown's symbol with a thin denim jacket on top and some black skinny jeans and some sexy stilettos, before going to a cabinet where she kept the liquor. A nice glass of rum would help take the ease off the day.
Or it would have, were she not interrupted by a Knight who called for her presence outside the tent "door". With a sigh, she allowed him in to hear his message: apparently she had been summoned to a meeting by the Lady Commander of the Magicians. Odd. The two hadn't really had a chance to talk alone since arriving to Lyeant about... Well, about anything. This talk, whatever it may be, was a long time coming.
Olivia made her way to the Lady Commander's tent quickly and found Nerea preparing tea for the two of them. A seat was pulled out, assumedly for Olivia, and she took her place. If there was one thing that would never change about the redhead, it was that she always knew what was coming. Olivia just wish she had listened to her insight on the future more often.
Her own name pulled Olivia out of her reminiscing on past mistakes. "Hm, oh, thank you for the tea, dear." The brunette said, picking the steaming cup up. The warmth spread through her fingers which were cold as steel, but that was the norm nowadays since she became more than just a human. The question was expected and not the first time she had heard it since the coronation. Many people thought crowning herself Queen was a little much but it was something that had to be done. None would question her authority or rule now, lest they face the wrath of a monarch.
Olivia took a tentative sip of the tea before placing the crown that was on her head on the table in front of her and said, "The burdens that may come from this glamorous headpiece are nothing short of feathers floating in the wind. Gone and unnoticed just as quickly as they appear."
She sipped at her tea again as she added, "But do tell, Nerea, why you called me in here to talk. Surely it must be more important than some silly crown."

[attr="class","humour"]The audience received the speech well, as Olivia had predicted. The children were kept entertained by their newfound gifts and the older members of the audience enjoyed the champagne. She risked a quick glance to her left where some of the other Crown members had found a table and were sitting. The Lady Commander of the Physicians, Laney Delano, was watching the children with the crowns and looked... bored. The other Lady Commander and her apprentice also looked uninterested. Olivia knew they'd seen the whole performance at least a dozen times during rehearsals and the like, but they all had to do their part. Some read lines, some sat and watched, and some were in the spotlight.
The first to ask a question was a lanky man with a rather nasally voice. "What was your inspiration for the name behind 'The Crown'?" he asked, pen and paper ready to take record what Olivia would respond with. The press, of course. A smile graced Olivia's face as she responded, "For what it represents, sir. A crown is a symbol of authority and power; yet, also one of protection and resurrection. We, The Crown, wish to use our power to protect those in need and bring back to life -- resurrect if you will -- the death ridden lands that were lost to the Wreckage."
The small smile masked the glee that Olivia felt. While she had hoped the press would take notice of their little event, there was nor guarantee of it happening. She knew from past experiences with Aqua that people were not always welcome to new groups or "teams", and the people of the Lyeant were no exception especially with the war that ravaged their lands. To have a reporter asking her questions meant that somewhere sometime soon there would be an article or clip talking about The Crown. She just hoped it was in a positive light.
Standing in front of the massive throne, Olivia asked, "Any other questions?"
