TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!
tbe: take two! is inspired by, but not associated with nintendo's pokemon franchise. the current skin was created by pharaoh leap using font icons primarily from ion icons and fonts from google fonts. banner art by vav of pixiv. characters, with the exception of canons from the manga, belong to the members who write them, and all posts and templates on site are credited to their respective authors and artists. we claim nothing that is not ours.

lily's profile
a runaway bride who chose the life of a gym leader in a foreign land over being the trophy wife of a stranger. lilika is one of the youngest children of the royal family of tohoku, a small sea-bordering region not far off lyeant's own coasts. her home's poverty was what landed her in lyeant to begin with, but her love of service and "the people" led her to abandon her would-be husband at the altar and dedicate herself to the reconstruction of lyeant.[break][break]
so yeah, if you hook up with her, you're technically hooked up with royalty. she has no rights to the throne - assuming all of her older siblings don't tragically die, i mean - but bragging rights would definitely exist. she's bisexual, so she's interested in both men and women, though she tends to lean more closely toward the latter. similar to garett, mentioned earlier, she's more invested in heroics and the preservation of the region than actively seeking out a partner - although, if she found that special someone, she definitely wouldn't be opposed to exploring the feeling![break][break]
and she doesn't hit on younger men, i swear, please believe me -

Of all the places that Lyeant had to offer these days, there was no doubt that the Firefly Springs held the dearest place in her heart. Angel Heights may have taken such high honor in the years that time had eaten raw, but she had watched it shatter and fall to the earth it was meant to ascend over with her own eyes, much like most of the region around it, and of the remaining cities and habitats left, non reminded her more of home than that springs, miraculously untouched, in the woods. Lush. Noisy with nature. Cramped, if she was feeling a touch cynical. More than anything, though, it was the ideal training spot. Just as their trainer did, her fairy-type Pokemon seemed to flourish in this untouched pocket of space, strengthened in mind by the woods, and strengthened in body by the mind. They were careful, of course, to leave the trees and the wildlife untouched as best they could – enough was in tattered and tears outside of this place that it did not need to be added to the other statistics for the sake of keeping up traditional Tohoku combat styles – and to leave no mark of their ever being there when they visited. It was only respectable. Unfortunately, not everyone around them appeared to have the same idea in mind.[break][break]
Leaves and branches had been falling down upon Lilika and her Magdalene like a rainstorm for a good fifteen minutes, dotting blue hair with green and providing unexpected (and not entirely welcome) target and shielding practice for the plain-faced Shiinotic at her side. Of all the times she had been here, and truly, the number was quite high, she couldn't recall a wild Pokemon causing such a ruckus, much less destruction to its home. A part of her ached at the thought of it alone – destruction to otherwise untampered woods – but she was technically the trespasser here, no more than a visitor in the Pokemon's home, and a visitor tended to have little say in how their host kept their things. Back home, she probably would have spoken her mind, anyway – but then again, the host in question was a Pokemon, so there was no guarantee she'd be understood, anyway. “Let's move somewhere else,” she suggested to her Pokemon instead, smile pulled a little too tight, hand batting away at foliage caught in her hair a bit too close to her eyes. “Somewhere a little more open.”[break][break]
Fortunately, it was a short trek to the nearest clearing, not even five minute's worth of effort. More importantly, however, the open view of the sky afforded her a sight she had not been expecting to see: the culprit, although very much not Pokemon in nature, although very much adorning a set of... wings. Wings. On a human child. Was such a thing possible? The gym leader had heard stories, of course, of humans with Pokemon DNA infused with their own, had heard, even, that some of her fellow League members were of such origins, themselves, but never had she seen one with her own eyes. At least, not one with such blatantly inhuman features. It was – breathtaking, in a way. So much for heartache for the sake of the wood; now, she was overcome by awe and curiosity. “Hey -” she began to call from her place on the ground, unsure of what, exactly, she wished to say to the boy in flight and the Charizard that flew alongside him. Fortunately – or, rather, unfortunately – a topic came to her fairly quick: an obstacle in his path, one she wasn't sure he would be able to maneuver around, a tree thicker than all the rest around it. What was supposed to have been a greeting, warm and amiable, came out sharp, sudden. A warning. “Watch out!”

First of all, I'd just like to say how much I love the idea of a Heatmor gijinka as an ex-sailor/water-type specialist? I'm making heart eyes right now, you just can't see it through the screen. Lilika's a gym ledaer, but also kind of a - for lack of a better term - "fangirlly" one, often looking up to the other gym leaders in near idol worship and furiously scribbling notes on their mannerisms and battle styles in order to improve herself as a person and gym leader. Despite having an age lead on Ionna (well, only a couple years), and perhaps a time-spent-as-gym-leader lead (depending on how recently Ioanna became a gym leader, but Lilika's reeeeeeeeeeeeally recent, so probably not, haha), Lilika would see Ioanna no differently and treat her with no less respect.[break][break]
I like the idea of them having met each other prior, during the Imum conflict, when helping out refugees and other such citizens. Honestly, Lilika's home region was really small, relied mostly on imports, and was really lax in its "royalty", so it's entirely possible that: a) Lilika had at least SOME experience with the sea, even if it was only through hearing many a sailor story; and b) that Lilika actually offered to help out specifically with sea-bound transport of refugees under Ioanna's captain...ship. Bonus if she had no idea what she was doing at the time, but she was tRYING HER BEST, OKAY? They could've made friends, or at least acquaintances there, split up after, only to bump into each other again at an official League or Association meeting and realize, "Hey, don't I know that girl over - OH HEY!!!!"

some like to think hope is lost. see me stand alone. i can't do what others may want - then i'll have no home. so for now, wave goodbye and leave your hands held high. hear this song of courage long into the night. and the wind will bear my cry for all who hope to fly. hear this song of courage - ride into the night. battles are fought by those with the courage to believe, they are won by those who find the heart, find the heart to share. this song will point the way to victory.
[attr="class","fraceshighrelationname"]Ryuuna Pyrragon ROLE MODEL
Despite having the obvious type advantage over Ryuuna's party, Lilika still can't help but find herself horribly beaten every time she comes up against the younger gym leader's battling prowess. While they're probably just a ba match in terms of sparring partners, Lily can't help think of Ryuuna as the strongest of the gym leaders, and strives to be more like her as to better live up to her own gym leader name.
And then you can write about that relation here! Move in to fire at the mainstream of bombers. Let off a sharp burst, and then turn away. Roll over, spin 'round, and come in behind them. Move to their blindsides and fire again. Bandits at 8 o'clock move in behind, ten ME-109's out of the sun. Ascending and turning our spitfires to face them; heading straight for them, I press down my guns.
Imagine, if you will, the stereotypical princess: mild-mannered, passive, distantly kind, polite, a regular every day damsel in distress whose only use is presenting herself as a beauty object and being rescued by a knightly man most certainly fit to become king. Now, then – invert that all on its head. Lilika is royalty perhaps only in blood, her clothing more often than not left in tatters, her hands covered in dirt, and the words spilling out of her mouth too “vile” to be anything of traditional royalty. Had she been born to a royal family stationed in any other principality than Tohoku, her behavior would have been far from acceptable, but given her home environment and the small region in which she was raised, it should be of little surprise that her upbringing was for more loose. Her mother cared more about self expression and inner happiness than upholding standards set too high for a young girl, and such parenting methods have helped to shape the person that Lilika is.[break][break]
From her youth, Lily found more entertainment in playing in dirt and faking martial art skills than playing dress up or toying with tea sets. Calling her a tomboy may be an overstatement now that she's a young woman – it's not entirely unheard of for her to indulge in a day of shopping every so often, even if she'd rather browse for weapons than clothes, and her attire is usually not something you could see a man wearing – but on a scale of masculinity to femininity, she doesn't sit very close to the latter. She isn't afraid to be loud, to be abrasive. Her fists bite more than her bark ever calls out when it comes to the rare disagreement, even if she isn't the biggest fan of resorting to violence. Still, she takes stubbornness to a level beyond that of most people, stuck to her views and her ways until the very end of her days without letting anyone else get a say so in edgewise. Perhaps its for the better than her aspirations are usually within her reach, with a hefty bit of elbow grease, of course, and that her heart remains in the right place once she's made up her mind. Between this and her unwavering optimism in virtually any trial that comes her way, it's no wonder the subjects of her principality found themselves taking at least some liking to her.[break][break]
Perhaps Lilika's most defining trait, however, is her flair for heroics. She isn't so flashy a savior as to run about in a hero's costume saving people from “villains”, but if someone looking to be in any sort of trouble falls into her line of sight, she'll go out of her way to aid them, even if they refuse. Especially if they refuse. Many have complained that she does a little too much – aiding an old lady across the street, only to proceed to walk them home and clear an unnecessarily large path for them the whole way. A Litten caught in a tree? She'll call for the owner for hours and hours until someone shows up or she ends up taking it to the police, and then proceeds to wait there until the owner shows up. People she takes to the hospital are guaranteed at least one visitor sticking around for too long, and it isn't unheard of for her to randomly buy multiple people's dinners at a restaurant of any price value. Lyeant is in shambles, she knows: a titan of a region reduced to less than her own humble home. What cruel, self-centered person wouldn't do all in their power to aid its people however they can?

Home is small – home is poor. She's royalty from the day she's born, the second youngest of six, four older sisters, one younger brother, but she never really feels like royalty. The whole of the Principality of Tohoku is her playground, and all of the children in town siblings on top of those she already has. In their eyes, she's never “the princess”, and from their mouths topples only “Lily”. Its quaint like that from the beginning. No one has much to offer here, but everyone shares what they can, and their days are all the happier spent for it.[break][break]
But money means survival in the great, greedy world, when there's only so much to go around, everyone suffers for it. Without it. (Because of it.)[break][break]
“Lily, darling – do you love Tohoku?”[break][break]
Of course she does. It's her home. It's her world.[break][break]
“There's something that needs to be done, if we're to keep going the way we have been. Something only you can do.”[break][break]
And she'd do anything, anything at all for her principality. She'd give anything away.[break][break]
(Just not her hand in marriage.)[break][break]
STAND AND FIGHT, SAY WHAT YOU FEEL
Lilika arrives to a war. It must be so that her engagement was made prior to the bombing in Neurift – a cake cut into, a bomb that took half the hall away in a single blast, and the Imum grunts that came pooring out after – but the fighting is well underway by the time her feet meet the ground, and its all fortune that keeps she and her team of fairies alive long enough to see the end. Her husband-to-be is kind enough to postpone their event until after the threat of death has faded from the minds of those who would attend (rich, poor: all lives are equal in the eyes of a murderer), and even kinder still to allow her a vacation home immediately after their vows with which to recover from the scars she must have been left with.[break][break]
But she isn't battle-torn and scared. No, no – something has ignited in her soul as a result of aiding in the reclaiming of Lyeant, a region not her own, and she would be doomed before some stranger carves her into his trophy wife. Their wedding is scheduled on the date of gym leader preliminaries, open to all, pass the test and win the chance of a lifetime.[break][break]
A man she's never met is stood up at the altar. In the same moment that the guests realize she isn't coming, the Association hands her her very first gym badge.
Envision the typical princess as depicted by fiction: fair, gentle, strong in will while soft in touch, a regular damsel in distress. Were a person to try to label Lilika Peverell as such, she'd likely burst into laughter – after, of course, accepting those nice little “fair” and “strong-willed” compliments. A royal bloodline originating from the small monarchical island of Tohoku designates Lilika as princess, albeit one who will likely never ascend to the thrown, but the circumstances of her country and her upbringing have molded her into a character far different from the role many would expect her to play. There's a reason her old-fashioned get up makes her look more the part of a knight than of a maiden letting her hair down for her prince-to-be – for as long as she can remember, she's been the sort to not go down without a fight. Lilika's reasons away from being away from home and in the region of Lyeant are pretty simple: She was intended to hand her... well, hand over in marriage, but after witnessing the assault of Imum first hand, dedicated herself, instead, to the reconstruction efforts rather than playing trophy wife for a man with nothing to honor him but the money lining his pockets.
[break][break]
>>> FRIENDSHIP
Lilika is an easy person to befriend, if only because she is used to everyone being her friend with very little pretense. Back home, where her status as princess was known by all, people treated her with respect and kindness first out of necessity, then out of genuine intentions, after she inevitably wormed her way into their hearts. Unfortunately, since she doesn't parade around with a crown on her head, most don't jump to their knees before her or attempt to stay on her good side with friendly behavior – but that hasn't stopped her from treating those around her very friendly (perhaps too friendly) from the get-go. Rather than people earning her friendship, she likes to see it as people losing their right to it; her generosity is given from the start, and unless you give her a reason to not be, you've been friends since the moment you shook hands.[break][break]
>>> HATESHIP
Much like the knights she tends to dress herself up as, the gym leader has a very strict sense of duty and laws to abide by. Making enemies, then, is simple: denounce these basic principals and ideas of “chivalry” (although, she wouldn't go quite so far as to truly label it as “chivalry”), and you're no one worth her time. Those who would put their own needs above the many are the root of suffering. Those who would abandon another in need does not deserve saving themselves. An enemy to decency and the masses is a personal enemy of her own; it's how it's always been, and it's likely how it will always be.[break][break]
>>> LOVESHIP
Slapping a ring on this technically makes you royalty. Consider the pluses. <:I[break][break]
Okay, no, but seriously. By all means, Lilika is still engaged to a high ranking member of Parallax, seeing as she never so much broke off the arrangement as she... left him hanging at the altar. Oops. Love and its pursuit have always been rather low on her list, considering the number of siblings older than her have almost guaranteed that she will never have need to ascend the throne, and without the hassle of “having to produce an heir”, there's really been nothing to motivate her to look for “that special someone”. She cares more about the happiness of “the many” than herself as an individual. Landing here, honestly, will probably just be a chore. She's bisexual, although she leans a touch more heavily toward girls in terms of her preference; if you have any intent of landing here, I guess, that'd be the place to start.[break][break]
>>> WANTED
I had ideas for stuff I wanted for her – and then I tooooootally forgot. Honestly, like, Quoz plays Lilika's brother, Janni, but we're always down for more royal siblings from the tiny nation of Tohoku! All four of them are older, but. Otherwise, people for her to sword fight? People for her to look up to? (That second one's not hard, you just have to be semi-competent and she'll ask you for lessons on whatever it is you're semi-competent at.) Vigilantes and people who advertise their heroics rub her the wrong way, each for different reasons, so if you have one of either, you can always hit her up with those, too!
