I CHASED THE PICTURED PERFECT LIFE
I THINK THEY PAINTED IT WRONG "not at all, ma’am!” excitement funneled and churned throughout his body, fervent and ardent, swift and quick, and it flowed along his limbs and branched amongst his movements when he’s brought back to his feet by a helping hand. brewing past the seditious, restless vestiges of his heart and leaning on the more ebullient designs.

perhaps because he’ll always live beneath them, conrad had always given little thought to the power and prestige of the other members. they were like towers, like behemoths, like every other portion of their clique: beautiful, deadly, snakes and snares laying in wait.

and so, a smile had still played over his features, at the thought of security, dancing on the cobweb expanse and unfurling all of his unknowing.
