Because the PokeAthlon will be running throughout the course of February, we don't have a concrete in character event for Valentine's Day (or Single's Awareness Day, as some folks may call it), and don't intend to throw anything as fancy as a ball. However, we'd still love to get a bit in the spirit with some opportunities for characters to earn money and Team Points for their characters with some love-(or hate-)related activities![break][break]

As of posting this, the only two “arcade games” in the corresponding board are the Hot or Not and Mate, Date, Decapitate games, where characters can judge each other on whether they're attractive or not, or whether they'd... well, you can imagine what both of them ask just by reading the names! While members are welcome – encouraged, even – to make arcade games in that board of their own, from today, February 2nd until February 14th, any character who participates in those linked games will earn 10 Poke and 10 Team Points for future board buys for your faction! You only get the prize for posting once, though you're more than welcome to reply as many times as you wish if you've got the time for it.[break][break]

In addition, we'll also be rewarding characters who participate in romance threads – whether this be two characters slated to end up together doing their own thing in a thread or actually hooking up once and for all. Characters in shippy threads will be awarded with 20 Poke and 20 Team Points, so if you've got your love life all planned out, make sure to cash in between today, February 2nd and February 28th![break][break]
