TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

Care to hear about our lord and savior Operation: Mindcrime? In all seriousness: Hello, hello! I'm Pharaoh Leap – or just Leap – local head admin and rock opera enthusiast. On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. I only know how to write angst, and in no fewer than six trillion words an app or post, so if you like dying while reading like I like dying while writing, I'm the girl for you. ;o
Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Anyway, from my personally I hope that you enjoy the site and what we produce here but also if you're new, please look around and if you like what you see please consider joining for rad plots that everyone gives! :D
Hey there~ Nano over here! I uh.. Wait, I'm doing this right, right? Bleh. So I'm a moderator over here - fun, fun - who kind of just.. Keeps an eye on everyone. You know, the whole app thing and what not. Uh.. Lets see.. When I'm not doing school work (because I may or may not be trying to be a good student) I'm probably storming up new ideas like events and etc. Or plots. Plots are always good, too. As you can see, I uh.. Have the horrible habit of making way too many characters. I swear, I was tempted with plots, ships and angst. It's like, the holy trinity. Uh.. What else is there about me? Oh, right! Please excuse my obnoxiousness. I'm just really loud in general so don't be surprised if I start screaming as loudly as I can caps. So yeah. Nice meeting you!

[attr="class","femme-tag"] NOTES: TAKE TWO OF SAVE THESE DORKS
[attr="class","femme-text"] The collision threw Dylan off balance, and he ended up on the floor with the stranger too. He flailed a little bit before gathering his balance, turning around quickly on his feet and looking at the person he ran into. "I"m sorry! Didn't mean to knock you over!" He said. It didn't mean much in this moment probably, but it was the only thing Dylan could think of. [break][break] The stranger he ran into was a young woman, who yelled at him for being a idiot. She was holding a pizza box in one hand, which definitely looked roughed up from the fall. Oh. Oh. He ran into the delivery girl. Great, he was pretty sure that was a ban from the pizza company or something. Or a lawsuit. Something like that. He'd figure that out later. [break][break] It didn't take long for the girl to realize what Dylan was running from. She turned around and muttered something under her breath. Once Dylan was up on his feet, he motioned for the girl to follow him down the hall. "Come on, we need to get out of here, and fast." Dylan said, urgency was rising in his voice. He swore he heard sirens in the distance. Or it was the ringing in his ears. Between that and the tugging sensation in his gut, he couldn't tell whether or not he was having a panic attack or not. Moltres urged him to go on alone without her, she was just some stranger. But Dylan couldn't just leave her there. Also, he ran into her, he felt bad. The least he could do was try and get them both out. [break][break] However, the girl didn't budge. Well, she did move, but not away from the fire. “I – might be able to handle this. Um. Don't freak out, okay?” Was all she said. And Dylan couldn't help but stare at the girl and blink in confusion. Don't freak out? Well, too late for that one. But what could she do? Maybe she had a Water type Pokemon on her or something. [break][break] She didn't. Instead, the girl turned around and seemed to focus on the flames. Dylan paused and hesitated in his steps. He looked between her, the flame, then back at her, as if staring would help him figure out what she was doing. Was she going to throw out a Pokemon? From the looks of it, no. Once more, he stared at the flames and opened his mouth to say something but paused. For a split second, he thought he saw the flames falter. And then there was that tugging sensation in his gut again. But as soon as the flames faltered, they flared up again and became even bigger. He could feel the heat rush over his face. [break][break] “Okay, better idea. Run!” [break][break] Dyaln didn't need to be told twice. Without thinking, he reached for the girl's hand and tried to grab it, running off down the hall with her hopefully in tow. He burst through the staircase's doorway and started jogging down the stairs. He yelled over the sounds of his - and hopefully her's - footsteps hitting the cement. "I'm sorry about this. It's my fault. Sort of. Well, it's mostly his - I think it's a he? - he said he'd help and it didn't really help it made it worse." It was a non-sense ramble. But Dylan just needed to get it out there. He needed to voice his feelings to someone that wasn't Moltres. Hopefully she wouldn't think he was a complete psychopath. [break][break]
[attr="class","femme-text"] All he wanted was a simple day. That was Dylan's simple wish. [break][break]
Especially after a stressful day at work. One wouldn't think that being a librarian of all things would be stressful, but Dylan could easily prove people wrong. For one, it was still customer service. He still had to deal with the general public, which was difficult to do some days. There were days where Dylan gets the weirdest requests for books. Why did people assume that they had books that would turn people into Pokemon Masters? Or books that would show men how to hit a hole in one in golf? It was a unrealistic expectation. [break][break]
When Dylan got home, all he wanted was a nice cup of coffee and to sit in front of the TV for the rest of the night with a large pizza. It was a craving that Dylan didn't get often, but considering the day he had at work, a pizza treat was in order. He had placed the order in on the way home, so hopefully it'd be arriving soon. In the meantime, he searched around in the cabinet for some coffee.[break][break]
He started the water for the coffee maker and set the grounds in, leaning against the counter and sighing heavily as he waited for it to heat up. [break][break]
This is taking too long. A voice rang out against Dylan's skull. He winced and ran a hand down his face. [break][break]
"It's going to take a few minutes to warm up the water, you know." Dylan muttered. Legendaries were impatient. [break][break]
Humans need such trivial things to function. Moltres mused. If you want, I can provide you with the power to warm up the water faster.[break][break]
Dylan stared at the coffee maker in consideration. The water wasn't even steaming yet. Well, eventually he'd have to figure those powers out. Now would be a good time to practice. [break][break]
He took the pot out and held it in his hands, closing his eyes and focusing on releasing the warmth that was stored within him. And for a moment, it was working. Until the doorbell rang and he lost his focus. [break][break]
Broken out of his trace like state, Dylan jumped and nearly dropped the coffee pot. The fire that was in the palm of his hand flared wildly, throwing him into a panic. He juggled the pot and slid it back onto the counter, but the fire didn't dwindle. Instead, it spread to the counter. Then the cabinets. And then the floor. [break][break]
Dyaln stared with wide eyes at what he had done, and slowly backed away out of the kitchen. The smoke started to rise, and once it hit the ceiling, the fire alarm started to blast. Sprinklers then were set off, pouring water over the rapidly spreading fire. And in a pure state of panic and confusion, Dylan had the brilliant idea to make a break for it.[break][break]
He bolted to the door, ignoring the protests from Moltres in his head, and swung the door open with all his might. "I'm never listening to you again!" Dylan exclaimed. He didn't bother to look out, and jolted forward. Unfortunately, a person stopped him from going any further, and he couldn't stop himself in time to prevent the colision. [break][break]
[attr="class","ttshipreplymid2"] honestly the thought of them doing accidental arson makes me laugh so hard.
[break][break]
i love the idea of them taking notes about their respective legendaries too. dylan would be what do you mean entei is chill? what is that like? like comparing study notes for class but about legendary pokemon instead hahah. like that just sounds like a fun time :'D for their meet up i had a fun idea...!
[break][break]
dylan has food delivered to his apartment, and right as she gets there, the fire alarm goes off in the apartment complex because he accidentally burnt something in his house. he tries to put it out but says fuck it, and goes to run out and runs into her. or she sees him set something on fire through the windows and he opens the door very casually trying to ignore the smoke alarm going off in the background. see where things go from there perhaps?
[attr="class","ttshipreplymid2"] i'm overcoming the intimidation and posting here since i was inspired by our discord chat so here goes nothing!~ [break][break]
so i think these two should definitely meet. because they're both vessels to a fire legendary, and of a trio no less! and i think they could have interesting conversations about their un/fortunate situations. dylan isn't too keen on the idea of moltres in his body, but he has no choice. he still wants to live. and frieda and entei seem to have a more freely pact going on. [break][break] plus, entei seems to be sleeping while moltres is much more active in dylan's head. he criticizes him all the time ok. so i think that could lead to some silly moments and misunderstandings. [break][break] from the looks of it, i think dylan could be a nice balance to frieda too! he's much more level headed and calm, compared to her optimistic outlook on life. they could balance each other out and become good friends or more, depending on how things go /shot. thoughts? comments? concerns? snide remarks? :'D
I can only see you in my head[break] I hope it becomes a handful of ashes
[attr="class","taketwoapplicationtab2bot"]
[attr="class","taketwoapplicationtab2bot2"]
You had your hardships. Nothing ever came easy to you. It made you upset when you were a kid. You weren't one to scream, to wine, to cry, over things you couldn't get. Your parents wouldn't let you get away with that. So you stopped trying at the age of four. [break][break]
You worked hard for everything. You worked hard for through straight A's in middle school and onward. You worked hard to make your parents notice you. You worked hard to try and step out of your twin brother's shadow.You were constantly standing in it, you needed to get out. The quiet one, the non-sociable one, the one that people wondered how you and your brother were even related. And fast. Before you reach your breaking point.[break][break]
And then you were able to get out. But not in the way you wanted to. Your parents separated, they weren't legally married anyway, and you were separated from then on. It felt liberating at first. You didn't have to stand in his shadow anymore. You could stand out on your own, there were no expectations placed on you. You were free of that pressure. And then you felt guilty about it. You should miss your brother, you should miss him. But you didn't. You thought eventually that guilt would go away, that you'd be able to forget about him. You were wrong.[break][break]
High School was supposed to be a breeze. You were free of the pressure, free from those expectations placed upon you from standing in your brother's shadow. But a new expectation was placed on your shoulders. You were the star of the football team, you were expected to go to parties, you were expected to be social and know every student in the school. You hated it, but put on a facade to please your parent. And you lived that way for a miserable four years.[break][break]
After High School you left for your own journey, wanting to get away from the reality of the world. You ventured through the Johto region first, then Hoenn, then the next and the next. You gained friends, allies, and enemies alike. You formed strong bonds with your Pokemon, called them family. And just when you think you can settle down, your life changes forever. [break][break]
You travel to Lyeant, a region that was in tatters and was working on rebuilding. You thought that maybe you could make a name for yourself here. You decided to settle down in Eirenhyre City and continue to train your team and yourself, in preparation for the tournaments that were held every three years. But then, one day, you heard a voice call out to you. You don't know where it's coming from, or what it was even saying. But you were drawn to it. And then, something hit your chest and knocked the wind out of you. A loud, booming voice offered you a deal. Let it inhabit your body for now and it wouldn't kill you. [break][break]
You accepted the terms and conditions, it's not like you had much of a choice. Now, there are more expectations placed upon your shoulders. You have many questions, you want to ask Moltres why it's here and why it choose you. But Moltres doesn't answer most of the time. Instead, it would make observations about your life style. Why was your apartment so small, why did humans live like this? Trivial questions like this filled your days. And then you start to notice that you can do things that humans shouldn't be able to do. You were able to heat up the pot of soup yourself, you accidentally started a fire in your garbage can, you could feel the presence of others every now and then. And you kept asking Moltres one question every day until you finally gave up.[break][break]
Dylan is a simple man who has absolutely no idea what's going on anymore. First he's settling down into a new region and the next thing he knows Moltres is inhabiting his mind and body. It's fucked up, and he isn't sure how to handle it. He's struggling to figure out these new found powers and may make some friends, enemies or maybe find some love along the way.
[break][break]
>>> FRIENDSHIP
Friends can be hard to come by for Dylan. He's a bit socially inept. Social cues go right over his head, and Dylan can accidentally step over a boundary without even knowing it. He sometimes comes off as arrogant and blunt because of it. But really, he means well. To him, it was probably speaking the truth. But underneath the somewhat charming dork, he's a very reliable person to have on your side. He has a high tolerance and patience for people, so hot tempered people won't really get on his nerve.[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #1 A close friend of his notices that something is off about Dylan and eventually finds out about the Moltres thing. I think it'd be a fun friendship to play out. Whether it was already an existing friendship or one that builds over time, especially since Gijinkas are sort of looked down upon. And he's not even a true Gijinka, either. Like, imagine finding out a close friend of yours is hosting a legendary in their body. How would you react to that? How would your friendship be after that? I'd love to explore something like that.[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2 lay me right down, let me sleep, i'm restless. cover my eyes. when i'm up, i'll finally fade away, here, today. give me a reason: then i'll stay. if i could fly, if for only a moment, there wouldn't be such a need for casualty. i'm alone, and that is how it'll be.
>>> HATESHIP
Seeing that Dylan has ventured through a couple of regions and is just now settling down into this new one, I can imagine him making some rivals and enemies along the way. Whether they also stumbled into the same region as him, or he developed some through some legendary Pokemon business thing, doesn't matter much to him. He'll try to avoid them all the same.
PLOT IDEA #1 Sort of branching off from the "a friend finds out about the legendary pact" thing, perhaps someone starts trying to hunt Dylan to break the Moltres out of him. Maybe they're jealous, or maybe they just want the Moltres' power for themselves. Whatever the reason may be, conflict is fun and provides great character development![break][break]
>>> LOVESHIP
He has no idea what he's doing, and now he has a firebird in his head too, I wish you good luck. Dylan wasn't the best at making friends, so dating was never on his list of priorities. He may have had some crushes here and there, but being too socially awkward, he never tried to do anything. But now he has another voice in his thing, it makes flirting and dating even more difficult.
PLOT IDEA #1 I think it would be fun for him to meet someone who's the polar opposite of him. Someone who's super social, likes to party, etc. The whole opposite's attract dynamic is always fun to play around with, and I think that Dylan needs to have some fun in his life. As long as that person can provide emotional support too, I think he'd be set.[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2 As a contrast to idea #1, if Dylan met someone who was more like him, he might be more comfortable. In reality, he'd probably be that really cliche dork who suggests a movie date, or just cuddling on the couch. Not the most creative, but the intention and feelings are still there. And if Dylan fell hard for someone, he would definitely be the more show than tell type of person. Everyone just needs those domestic, fluffy relationships every now and then, and Dylan could fit right into that.
>>> WANTED
I'm down for everything thrown my way really. These are just a couple ideas I had in mind, maybe we can play off one of those, or do an entirely different thing, I'm flexible! c:
