TWO YEARS AGO, A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION GOING BY THE NAME TEAM IMUM WRECKED CHAOS ACROSS THE LAND, DAMAGING CITIES AND KILLING THOUSANDS OF CITIZENS. While Imum itself has long since been disbanded, however, the region remains broken: entire towns have been laid to waste and the Association struggles to find homes for those who were lucky enough to survive the attempted genocide. Reconstruction trudges on as usual... but with three factions - the Association, the corporations, and the people - each wishing to take the rebuilding of an entire region down opposite paths, how long will it be before Lyeant's last leg gives out permanently?

On the rare chance you catch me in a time when I'm not bawling about characters entirely written into song, you may see me actually doing work around the site, like skinning, making too many characters, and encouraging others to also make too many characters. Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? Apart from being a Red fanboy I like music and games and yaoi huehue, I honestly never now what to put into these sort of things but ohwell, I'm more of a "ask me and I'll tell" sorta guy. Zero nodded to Luca and the Pokemon partner closed his eyes concentrating on creating a link with Issac. A small aura started to form around the psychic Pokemon as the Lucario continued to concentrate. {Can... Can you hear me, Issac?} His voice drifted in the air, Zero obviously could hear it, but if the connection worked, well, that'd be a different story, though it'd make conversation easier, and Luca could cut the connection at any time if it got too much. Zero remembered the first time they had connected, he had gained the biggest headache that lasted for a week straight.

"Staraptor is my eyes above. Luca, as I said earlier is my partner." Zero reintroduced the two Pokemon currently by his side. "Though, my team consists of an Umbreon who's my hero in the dark, Arcanine, my trusty sniffer scout on the field, and Absol and Gallade who look after the others." As if on cue, the aforementioned Pokemon turned up one by one, eventually surrounding Zero.
{Hmm... if I can communicate with you, I wonder if I could reach out to Issac's mind.} Lucario's thoughts drifted into Zero's head. Zero looked across to the Pokemon. "Oh right, we've never tried that have we?" Zero answered out loud. "We can try, if Issac permits us."{Besides, I don't think he'd appreciate you suddenly entering his head if it works.} Zero added inwardly. He then turned to Issac. "Luca would like to try connecting with you telepathically." Zero explained to Issac, hoping to alleviate any confusion the other might have had.

Zero frowned a little at the extra heat and glanced quickly over to his Lucario, wondering if the Pokemon had picked up on something odd. Lucario shrugged a little as Zero withdrew his hand. "My partner here is Lucario, I shorten his name to Luca. He's my right hand man- er Pokemon. I've looked after him since he was an egg." Zero offered the faintest of smiles. Lucario shot Zero a look. "Well... he's looked after me more often than not." Zero added.
Lucario nodded his approval at the correction. "The rest of my team are around here somewhere. I don't like keeping them locked up in their Pokeballs, so I trust them being out and about." Zero looked up as a Staraptor settled herself on his head. "Here's my literal wingman." Zero looked up at the bird.

Being new to the region, Zero thought he should explore and look around. He thought he would be a good idea to get the layout of the land. His grandmother's house wasn't too far from the square in which he was currently mapping out in his head. He felt a soft tug at the back of his pants, and moments later a tap on his shoulder. "Hm?" Zero turned to look at the boy who was holding out Zero's wallet. Zero's Lucario turned as well, arms crossed, looking as unimpressed as a Lucario could.{Z...}Luca hummed into Zero's mind. Zero raised a brow slightly. "Thieving cats?" Zero looked to the boy's Pokemon. He knelt in front of the one who had stolen his wallet. "You're a gorgeous cat, I can see you and your owner get along and look after each other. I'm not going to lecture you, just warn you. Be careful who you steal from, someone might not be so forgiving and could hurt you and your owner." Zero chided gently before standing back up and looking towards the boy.
{Z, you're not normally that soft.} Luca looked at his trainer. {What am I meant to do, arrest a Pokemon when we just got here?} Zero stared back. "Oh, sorry, I probably look weird staring at Luca. We were telepathically communicating. I'm Zero. Zero Zodiac." Zero held his hand out to the other boy. {Z, your lack of emotion is probably going to throw the boy off, and you've probably just offended him after what you said to his Pokemon.} Luca looked to his trainer with what can only be described as the Pokemon equivalent to raising a brow. Jeez not even a full day in the region and Zero was already being berated by his Pokemon.

I could go through a long boring history about myself, I could explain every little detail about my Pokemon, but that is long and time consuming, and it's time I don't have. I was born biologically female under the name Kyotori Higane. I came out as gender-neutral when I was twelve, and we changed my first name to Zero. Zodiac comes from my mother's last name, and we changed it to that in honor and respect of her death. I raised Lucario from an egg, we've been together ever since. We've looked out for each other since I can remember, same with the rest of my team. My father is a police officer, but Sinnoh is a quiet region so we don't get much trouble, at least we never used to until Imum took out the Lyeant region two years ago.[break][break]
Lucario and I are investigating team Imum. I should explain, I am aware that I'm not of age to be a police officer of any sort, let alone a private investigator, but the only thing stopping me from my credentials is my age. So while I call myself a PI and while I state that it's my occupation, I'm technically investigating illegally, which Lucario constantly berates me for, but I want to investigate Team Imum, even with their number scattered, it's possible they could try and rise again, and I want to be there and be prepared, so we're waiting at the docks ready to leave. I'll be living with my grandparents while I'm there.[break] ______________________________________________[break][break]
My trainer can be stubborn sometimes. Blunt and straight to the point, but he's good at what he does, even if he does it unconventionally. He's thorough in his work, if only he was just as thorough when it came to making friends, he doesn't trust anyone, and he feels if he let's others in, he'll become a burden to them. {Z, you sure about this?} I look up at the purple haired trainer as the breeze blows past us. {This could be dangerous, we've had to align ourselves just to get there...}[break] "Relax Luca. We'll be fine. I'm aware of the dangers ahead, we just need to blend in." Zero looked back down at me.[break] {Because a private investigator who solves all sorts of cases who just so happens to be FIFTEEN isn't going to stick out like a sore thumb} I retorted. I could feel the others shifting in their Pokeballs, probably chuckling to themselves. Apparently Z and I are similar.[break] ______________________________________________[break][break]
The boat arrived and off we went. Soon landing on the shore of a new adventure. Sure I was going to miss my dad, but they needed more investigators over here than they did in Sinnoh. I looked to Lucario with a raised brow. "Ready?" I asked, Lucario nodded and off we headed to my grandparents house to set up and unpack, ready to begin a new chapter in our lives.
"Don't underestimate my age, I'm quite capable of handling my own investigations. Do not mistake me for just some kid." <p> Zero can come across as cold and uncaring, but beneath that tough exterior is an amazing young man. He is more than capable of looking after himself and his others. He gets a little homesick sometimes, but needs to push on if there's any luck in investigating and catching any remaining Imum members. He's a smart kid and can handle whatever the world throws at him, he only aims in doing work that is no less than perfect that could make his father proud.

He's not easily matched as a friendly type, and he tries not to make friends, as friends would then get involved and try to help, a risk he isn't willing to take. He would rather fly alone, and handle his own issues and carry his own burdens. Though break through this view and that tough exterior and you'll have a loyal, die-hard friend who would sacrifice anything for your safety, even if it meant his life. He'd even risk his own life for the preservation of his Pokemon Partner's lives. His main partner is Lucario, his friend he raised from an egg into a Riolu and then into a Lucario. They've been together ever since Zero was little.
PLOT IDEA #1 He'll need that annoying Captain Obvious self-claimed assistant that follows him everywhere. They need to be fun-loving and persistent. The type who will eventually break through Zero's walls, so he has a human partner he can rely on.[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2
Those friends that like to help out in general. He needs people he can rely on, contacts he can use in the other groups, contacts in general. Friends need to be loyal and persistent, and need to be able to break through his barrier. Contacts need to be serious (or they can be cheeky, but Zero won't like them), and take their work seriously and do their jobs.

Team Imum. Just... Team Imum. Well, and general criminals. Zero strongly believes in fair and just trial, so just being a criminal doesn't land you here. Being a murderer who murders innocents, being a psychopath, torturer, the big criminals. Bullying will make you intolerable as well, but not exactly hated.

Run ins with any criminal, even a petty thief. This is fairly generalised, so anyone can really be under this idea.[break][break]

Team Imum members of any sort. Or y'know corrupt individuals from any of the three leading associations. Major bad guys, also sort of generalised, but more aimed at serious darker plots.

Not interested. Zero has the ability to love, and loves people of all sorts of genders and sexualities, but he's not interested in finding the love of his life. And if someone thinks he's theirs, they've got to try hard to get his affection. Though underneath, he's a loyal and fiercely protective sweetheart that can be surprisingly romantic.

Serious relationship. Someone who proves that he can be in love, and that loyalty works both ways. Someone who shows him that it's okay to open up, and someone who will fight for him as much as he fights for them.
