Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. What can I say about myself? If Akemi ever had to pick an actual home base for herself, the Firefly Springs would be up there. They had their own preference for places with shrines in them, of course- something about shrines focussed their energy like nothing else could- but if there wasn't a good forest shrine, a forest alone was pretty good. Akemi was, after all, a grass-type at heart.[break][break]
Today, however, they weren't there for the purpose of making any kind of home base. Instead, they had been there to try to heal someone who had found them and somewhat rudely requested healing. They'd had a knife, which was kind of silly? It was really hard to hurt Akemi with something like that, after all. But they had been pretty hurt- actually, they'd been dying of something to do with their lungs that they'd gotten during the fighting- and they'd been very frightened. So Akemi had told them to come to Firefly Springs, and then they'd done their best to heal them.[break][break]
Orchid- who was out of her Pokeball again- had made a disdainful snorting sound as they'd left, but Akemi thought that was over the top. Just because they'd been scared Akemi wasn't going to help them (which... really didn't make sense, as far as Akemi was concerned, because everyone really should know by now that they only really need to ask) didn't mean they were terrible or anything! They'd just been scared. It wasn't like they could really hurt Akemi permanently (or at least, not very easily)! So it was fine.[break][break]
Now that the person they'd been helping had left, though, Orchid was fussing over them endlessly. Akemi reached out and brushed the petals around her neck. Honestly, the Meganium needed to worry less. Akemi was totally fine! And now, they could just watch the Volbeat and Illumise go by, lighting up the dim light around the springs. It was still in the dawn hours of the morning, because the person with the knife had decided this had to happen in the middle of the night.[break][break]
You're going to get a reputation, worried Orchid. One of these days, someone less good is going to find you and you'll get hurt, and then I'm going to have to bail your stupid self out of an easily avoidable situation![break][break]
Akemi was about to come up with a counter-argument (mostly about how it would be hard to get a hold of them because they could time travel), though, they heard someone calling their name. It was Reshiram! Victoria! Whichever name they were going by- they were less grumbly-sounding so Akemi figured it had to be Victoria? That would make sense. Akemi jumped up from where they'd been previously sitting (cross-legged, levitating slightly because they were bored) and practically skipped to where the voice was coming from. Orchid let out a disgruntled roaring sound and followed- maybe they wanted to continue the conversation? But Victoria was here! They couldn't just keep on talking about it in front of Victoria- then VIctoria might start worrying, too, and that'd be pretty annoying.[break][break]
They came to Victoria was before letting out a little gasp. "You hurt your ankle. You were walking on it. Sit down," they said. "You must hurt a bunch." While the concern wouldn't be evident to those that didn't know Akemi, it was probably as clear as when Akemi was still a Celebi and inflected using pure emotion, thanks to normally talking psychically. Orchid poked her head over, looked at Victoria, and snorted- but still lumbered nearby. "You keep on getting hurt. You should stop that too."

Akemi and others I'm gonna say that I love all three ideas? It'd still be fun for Akemi and Ares to meet because Akemi is still a little sore over the 'you almost ended the world, you idiot' thing. Akemi... might get in the way of him, though, if he started destroying things. If only by fixing them. That's their thing- they fix the numerous things that break. Sapphire, meanwhile... yes. Very good. Hug the small leaf child. Akemi will be confused but they will like it and it will be good. And lastly, as for Surge, that does sound like a combination of adorable and silly that would be fun! Akemi's Meganium would spend the entire time making faces at Surge, probably, most likely. So really, all of the above sounds like a great time! Is there any set of them that you'd prefer to do? I'm up for whichever threads you'd like to have happen, be it all, one, or in between!

Forests and jungles and all of those kinds of places were nice, because the trees and the water meant "life" and also because Akemi is still a grass type, even when they aren't actually a Pokemon, and also because Orchid likes it. All of these things! All of these things are good and so when Akemi figures out there's a forest with a beautiful set of springs in it, they start spending a little more time there, because it's nice and it's pretty and it's relaxing and it's not like Akemi doesn't have time. [break][break] They have all the time in the world, really, if they want it- except that would be tiring, and also pretty boring, and also staying in the same few days too long kind of hurt, so not really. But they really do need some kind of thing to do that is not trying to heal more things because Orchid is giving them that look again. It's that look, the one that means "I will break myself out of my Pokeball, pick you up in my mouth, and carry you to a bed of some kind if you do not stop doing things." It had happened before. It was generally more worthwhile to just take a break. [break][break] So here Akemi was, just kind of jumping around outside the springs, waving hello to all of the Volbeat and Illumise who wandered close. Behind them, Orchid was curled on the ground, their long neck stretched up slightly, a smile on their face. The cities and lots and lots of not-healty places weren't really good for a Meganium forever, even if Orchid could bring newly-dead plants back to life with a breath and help out bunches anyway.[break][break]
The trees were rustling. In the background, Akemi could hear the sound of the spring water running. The grass was green and cool, and the dirt was less green, but also cool and right in a place like this. There wasn't anyone else around, or at least, Akemi was pretty sure there was no one else around. There might be, but there was a chance Akemi didn't notice at first, playing around under the trees.

Akemi and Giratina I have a strong desire to plot with Giratina for some reason? Because I bet these two could be adorable, basically? That, or they'd get into trouble because Akemi is known to have only half a concept of "this could break the universe so you probably shouldn't do that". They may have heard about each other at some point because Akemi likes to go bother hang out with Dialga sometimes? I don't know, I have no concrete ideas, I just think these two could be cute, is all.

Akemi frequented the broken places. It wasn't, exactly, a healthy habit- part of Akemi, every time they saw the rubble, wanted to go back, go back, go back again until they could just fix. They wanted to just... just fix it! They didn't have any better words for it than that, really, but all of these places weren't really green anymore and weren't really nice anymore and it wasn't right. It wasn't right at all, and these were the kinds of things they were supposed to fix, supposed to turn back try again try again until they pulled up the right kind of healing. [break][break] And yet here they were. Stupid fixed points in time, stupid time gears, stupid causality, stupid stupid stupid! (Because no matter how hard Akemi tried, they could only bring back the dead but so many times- and they'd already done that a few times too many.) And they couldn't fix it- except for in slow steps. So Akemi frequented the broken places, because those were the places that needed them the most (where they could get the closest to going back going back going back that they could manage, right now.) [break][break] Here, they could help. Here, in the rubble of a city, people were still trying to rebuild. It was the least Akemi could do to help the process along as best they could, even if they'd been unusually shaky and tired lately. They could only do it in the places where, instead of building something new, they were returning the old- that was one downside to how their healing worked. They couldn't pull healed things from the future, because the future tended to be harder to pin down, timeline-wise, but the past was the past, and therefore much easier to use to heal the future. [break][break] Rotted wood started to knit together under the legendary gijinka's hands. One way around this was to find the broken, burnt-out wood that had to be replaced, then heal the planks so they could be used again. That, at least, seemed to be getting around a lot of Akemi's difficulties healing around this place- getting around the difficulties time traveling was no trivial matter, but Akemi had practice ignoring dumb restrictions like "you could break the universe and will certainly break yourself if you keep doing this so you should probably stop". Besides, it would be worth it. It would all be worth it, to see this region a little less messed up, wouldn't it? [break][break] They looked up. Someone was passing nearby. Maybe they wanted help? They were already known for giving people help. (It didn't quite cross Akemi's mind that part of this was due to the fact that they had confirmed sightings of themselves in multiple places at the same time, too- one of these days, they'd attract the wrong attention.) And then- oh! It was the Blue one! The Blue one! The girl who they'd been told carried in the legendary birds, who had stood firm and battled against a person who was pretty bad, except sometimes not very bad anymore, except sometimes Akemi's friend, except sometimes chasing Akemi, always chasing. Akemi liked the Blue one! Without thinking, they hopped up. [break][break] "Person with birds and nice blue eyes. Hi." said Akemi, excited, though their face and tone didn't show it- they still didn't quite understand how facial expressions worked, or how inflecting in ways that weren't psychic did.[break] [break] Blue Mizu [break][break]
