Howdy guys! The names Astro and I am your resident Brit & Red muse (you'll honestly see me more on him than any of my other characters). I'm a moderator and my main job is to make sure everything is running smoothly so the Admins can focus on other things, you'll often see me within the apps and shops, etc when I'm not on Red. Sure this was a different city than where her own faction was, but Nerissa felt more at home in the water. She'd spent years and years in the water, being free, when she was actually Lugia and not Lugia trapped in a young woman body. But now, here in Irisia, she could feel a little at home. For a moment she considered moving here instead of living in the Republic-controlled area, but siding with them was much more important to her.
Her hands were fisted in the pockets of the hoodie she wore, a slight perturbed look on her face as she looked into each of the enclosures. It really saddened her to see these wonderful Pokémon trapped behind glass like this when they should've been free. The difference between the freed ones and these ones was astounding. Too many times she'd seen the way the Pokémon in the ocean had jumped out of the water in their happiness of being free rather than confined like some of the others. Part of Lugia had even wanted to release Nerissa's Pokémon upon taking over the girls body, however she knew how odd that would be since Nerissa had such a close bond with them. So no matter how much having the two electric mice bothered her, she kept them around.
As she got to the main part of the aquarium, the part where most of the crowd was, her eyes scanned the big tank. Some of the questions posed by the younger kids had her smiling, while others had her taking a quick glance to them wondering why'd they ask such a thing. The Gyarados posing up had caused her to jump in her place slightly, body relaxing right afterwards as she knew that it wouldn't be able to touch her. Not only that, but she could hold her own against one of those. It was the question from a blond guy that had her sparing a glance to him, the corners of her lips twitching up into a soft smile at what he said. "It was definitely red. She took a lot at how he had fallen, a laugh leaving her. "Had he really scared you that much?"

Before the first time Lugia was captured, thousands of years were spent flying through the skies and swimming through the oceans. Freedom was always so sweet for the giant Pokémon. Occasionally, it’d let itself be seen by humans. The tales that were spread about it would reach its ears and it’d laugh the time away. Let the people think what they wanted. So long as they left Lugia alone, it didn’t care what they spread about it. But all that would change come the first time it was actually captured. [break][break] There were many attempts by the Masked Man to capture Lugia, and there were many times that Lugia got captured. The first two times that Lugia was captured, it had managed to break free and go back to the wild. Lugia had hidden away each time, using the sea to hide away until it thought that the cost would be clear. Even then, each time that it would reappear Lugia would try to be increasingly careful about exposing itself. It didn't have it in the plans to be captured again, that wasn't something Lugia enjoyed at all. It loved being free, and being under the Masked Man was anything but being free. [break][break] The next time that Lugia had a run-in with humans, there was more than just the Masked Man. In fact, it was a whole ship of them. Fearing for it's freedom, it did the first thing a wild Pokémon might do and attacked. It wanted them gone from it's area and it figured this was the only way to do it. Except the first few attacks seemed to not scare the others off. If anything, it only rallied three of them together. And with that, a fierce battle started up between Gold, Silver, Crystal, and Lugia. [break][break] The fight was long and extensive. No matter what Lugia did to try and scare them away, the humans didn’t leave. They kept pressing the battle on and on, only driving Lugia to get more frantic with its battling and powers. When the battle started getting to it a little, one of the trainers had tried to catch it, only to fail. But the attempt is what kickstarted Lugia again. Its attacks started getting closer and closer to them, each time coming nearly within reach of the humans. Until finally one of them decided to kick it in its soft spot. The attack knocked Lugia enough that it left. It had hurt the Pokémon’s pride and injured it enough that it wanted nothing more to do with them. Its area wasn’t worth this much... [break][break] It was after Lugia got free from Will and Karen that it decided enough was enough. Hiding away in the sea wasn't good enough, not when there was another way to hide. By this time, word had reached the legendary about legends taking over human bodies. So that was exactly what Lugia did. It left the sea in search of a human to occupy, and found it in the shape of a young girl. The girls soul was almost too easy for Lugia to overcome and with nothing more than a simple thought, Lugia completely took over Nerissa. It hadn't been easy to fit into the young girls life. Lugia knew nothing about her apart from the personality that it kept in order to keep itself hidden. But luckily the girl was one with a routine that even her Pokémon knew. Little by little Lugia fit itself into what Nerissa had been doing before being overtaken by it. Eventually living as Nerissa became something Lugia quite enjoyed to do. The girl was innocent...naive...and no one suspected that she was now being controlled by the guardian of the seas.
Legendary Pokémon that took over a young girl in order to hide. While some of Lugia’s personality can shine through, it decided to use the hosts personality as well in order to hide. Sure Nerissa was naive and would willingly accept friendship from anyone who showed her kindness, but with Lugia possessing her she’s become increasingly wary around strangers. She doesn’t want to get taken advantage of and potentially get caught again...somehow.

Nerissa would have more acquaintances then close friends. You just have to work for it. She can easily tell when people are faking things, and that isn’t how it’ll happen. You have to be completely honest with her for her to fully trust you. Once she does trust you then you’ll find yourself a very loyal friend. She’ll stick by your side through everything; even parties. She isn’t much of a partier and would prefer to read a book in her house or at a coffee shop. (Although she hates drinking coffee she does like the smell and atmosphere of the shops. She likes the smell so much that that’s why she actually started working at one.) All you have to do is break down the walls she has built around herself from.
PLOT IDEA #1 I think it could be really interesting for Nerissa to have some friends from before Lugia possessed her. They could see that there’s been a change in her personality, not to mention a slight fear of some of her own Pokémon now, and possibly confront her about it?[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2 Legendary Pokémon wants to be able to complain about its heathens of bird children. Sure they aren’t really her children, but man could they be annoying sometimes. Plus, it’s just nice to be able to gripe to someone about everyday life.

Issa wouldn’t necessarily have “enemies”. Not to say that isn’t possible. She just has a lot of people hat she doesn’t really like for their interactions in the past. But! She could have people that don’t like her because she’s pushed them away possibly. She gets irritated easily by people who complain way too much, people who try to push her into doing things she isn’t comfortable with, and who try and talk bad on the legendaries.
PLOT IDEA #1 Anyone who captured or tried to capture Lugia in the past has definitely made this young girl nervous around them. She’d be itching to get away from them if they came around her for fear of them potentially finding out it’s her. She isn’t sure if she can be captured now that she’s in a humans body, but she doesn’t want to risk it.[break][break]
PLOT IDEA #2 It could be interesting for Lugia to have pushed away a friend of Nerissa’s after t possessed the girls body. The friend could’ve been one that was too close and would’ve recognized the change or maybe one that was connected to the people that tried to catch it in the first place. I’m open for either!

When Nerissa actually falls for someone, the romance will be very sweet. It can’t be helped since Nerissa is into romance and rom-coms. She loves everything that comes with relationships and will want to spoil the ever-living out of her significant other. Being omnisexual, Nerissa does notice gender, but chooses to not care for it in favor of being able to fall for anyone who falls for her. After all, what’s wrong with not caring too much about gender? However, she does already have a planned ship. So for now she’s off the market! [break][break]
